Beat bobbies ‘are at breaking point’ warns police watchdog (express, Jun 13, 2018)
https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/973423/police-officer-uk-pushed-breaking-point-overworked
“FRONTLINE police are in danger of being pushed to breaking point, Britain’s Chief Inspector of Constabulary said yesterday. Overwork, rising crime and the “gruesome” side of policing are subjecting officers to “undue strain”, said Sir Thomas Winsor.
Forces must assess the “mental health and welfare” of staff “and ensure they are given the support they need”.
Sir Thomas warned: “If you stretch people to breaking point, they will break.”
“Exhausted people who have not had a break from doing arduous work for a long time will not perform at their best.”
The watchdog’s words are echoed by rank-and-file leaders who claim budget cuts have left policing in crisis.
There are 121,929 officers in England and Wales, nearly 22,000 fewer than eight years ago, according to the Police Federation of England and Wales.
Eight out of 10 are suffering from depression or anxiety, while 237,697 “rest days” are owed to 70,000 officers.
Sir Thomas criticised police leaders for taking advantage of the “never-say-no” attitude of the rank and file.
He said: “If a police force’s most important assets – its people – are under undue strain, whether in terms of workload or the nature of the work and the effects on them, the force’s ability to serve the public is compromised.”
Police Federation chairman Calum Macleod said: “This report highlights what many of us involved in policing already know – that it is the dedication and a sense of duty of hardworking officers that keeps the police service running.
“Because frontline police officers and staff can be relied on to get the job done there is less pressure on leaders to bring about much-needed change.”
But to rely on frontline officers consistently working at a level which goes way beyond what it is expected of them is a disgraceful and unsustainable state of affairs.”
In his State Of Policing report – the annual assessment of policing in England and Wales – Sir Thomas warned that innocent people are at risk of being jailed because police lack basic knowledge of the legal system.
Of the high-profile collapse of several rape trials in which officers failed to disclose key evidence, he said:
“These cases strike at the very heart of our legal system and leave our confidence in it severely shaken. They damage people’s lives. At the moment, constables do not receive sufficient and specific training in this area. As almost all police officers begin and end their careers as constables, this is unsustainable.”
Sir Thomas also urged police chiefs to embrace the latest technology to “interrogate” the huge amount of material now held on electronic devices.
But he said steps taken by internet giants “to make sure their services cannot be abused by terrorists, paedophiles and organised criminals are inadequate”.
“Impenetrable” coded messaging has made life easier for criminals, he said.
“If the giants of that world continue to devise ways to frustrate law enforcement…the case for compulsion will be ever stronger.””
This is rubbish. The police are at breaking strain as they are 90% working class and they know what is going on and what is being done to the people and to the children of their friends and they can do nothing about it as once sacked they are black listed everywhere unless given a job by the “boys” to clean up their mess (“supposed” whistle blowers). They see themselves as being pushed into some dystopian world where they are the new SS and they resent it.They know that they are wasting their time on PC trivia and they have contempt for the high superiors but like good Brits they obey their orders and do things that were illegal 30 years ago not realizing that when the UK Nuremburg trials start, “Orders are Orders” is NOT an acceptable excuse for such dereliction of duty and it will be them gaoled and not the ones who gave the orders (as usual). Is this opinion? yes to a degree as I am extrapolating from my own interactions with local police who well know who are the enemy and it isn’t us and they are not happy.
In WWII we got a lot of the order givers and put them in the pen also.
Not the Japanese though. Very few there. But in Germany retribution was more even although probably thousands of the actual killers escaped as no one knew their names. IMO looking for 90yos who were so is a waste of time and energy and it should be dropped as we have the NKVD killers who escaped scot free that massacred thousands in full view of the allies(soviet citizens forced to return..the west’s greatest war crime thx Atlee)
“In 2013, Winsor was criticised for attending the National Police Memorial Day Service in a uniform similarly styled to that of a standard police uniform, as he has never served in the police force himself. Numerous online petitions started asking for him to be reprimanded.[170] Winsor said he had worn the uniform as a mark of respect.[171][172] Winsor answered the criticism by explaining that the uniform he wore was not a police officer’s uniform, and was in fact the uniform of the chief inspector of constabulary. He told the Home Affairs Select Committee that far from wearing a uniform to which he was not entitled, he wore the uniform to which only he (as holder of that office at the time) was entitled.”

Here is one of my favorite German Jewish commentators, putting the nasty animosity towards OUR POTUS into a nutshell:

TY, Rita!
Old-fashioned, down-to-earth commentator, gets it just right. Thought-police might leave him alone because – well, a Polish Jew in Germany, ya know~
The cartoon is cute, but we’ve got to be aware of the PR campaign to humanize the NorK. Kim may in fact be human and everything might be cool, but we’re being played by our own side. Yugely.
It’s a familiar pattern I’m observing in propaganda directed at PT’s “base” by PT’s media wizards. I understand the need for heaps of fertilizer – I’ve just got a sensitive nose, that’s all.
I’ve run on and on about the fantasy drivel of influential social media commentators. The ones followed and quoted by otherwise respectable – even outstanding – conservatives in blogs, Twitter, and Facebook.
Recap:
Social media – including blogs – has a multiplier effect that’s immense. For those of us who’ve turned off corporate media, that’s where we go for news and entertainment.
Omniscient Twitterati (OT)™ with huge followings write as expert authorities about everything. Which means they’re often FAR, FAR outside their range of expertise.
So they’re relying on sources.
The sources are party line: what the Administration wants you to feel about the issues.
Pictures and videos and local-color. Sympathetic back-stories, feel-good family fare. Seemingly authoritative disquisitions on armaments, codes, little-known history.
There’s enough fact to convince the casual observer. The OT has a good reputation for analysis within his particular knowledge base, say domestic politics. He’s a 100%-MAGA guy, even thinks in terms of a divinely Anointed One. He’s upbeat and relentlessly positive.
And he’s working from a script.
It’s all stacked, massaged, curated to convince you to cheer or jeer for whatever’s put in front of you. The local “expert sources” are all blatant partisans, the “other side” is always debunked as crude and amateurish.
You’ve invested time and confidence in your OT: Only the other side does fake!
So you swallow it whole. You pass it on as your own thinking. Sometimes verbatim without quotes: That’s how integrated it’s become into your world view.
A genuine expert says, “that map’s old, that port washed away 5 years ago!” Or, “wrong tribe, Druze aren’t Kurds!”
He’s stifled: ‘Troll!’ ‘Eeyore!’
So the echo chamber deafens.
……..
I get it.
War is fought on the home-front in the cognitive battle space.
In WW-1 the Allies had to convince an Anglo-Saxon populace that Germans were monsters. Not Grandpa from Bremen, or Uncle Hans/Henry, but bestial throwbacks to Attila. Thus Germans morphed into Herman the Horrible Hun.
“Why We Fight” was an essential movie series for Americans during WW-2. The audience was involved in a carefully crafted story. A lotta staged and fake stuff, but it helped us remain committed till we won the war.
……..
I’m a red-blooded Republican in a deep blue state, where everything I believe it is distorted and demonized.
But even if only right here, I’ll call out fake as I see it.
Now they are aiming at the STEM faculties and the slide in the west begins

Houthi Leader’s Brother May Be Dead in Offensive on Yemen’s Al Hudaydah – Media (sputniknews, Jun 13, 2018)
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201806131065362944-houthi-brother-death-reaports/
“Houthi leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi’s brother and 16 more senior members of the rebel movement may have been killed when the Saudi-led coalition struck their meeting ground in the militia-controlled port of Al Hodeidah in western Yemen, the Saudi Khabar Ajil media outlet reported on Wednesday.
Early on Wednesday, Yemeni government forces, backed by the Saudi-led coalition, launched a full-scale offensive to seize Al Hudaydah, which is a strategic stronghold of the Houthi rebels and a key entry point for humanitarian aid.
Neither the coalition nor the rebels have confirmed the death of the leader’s brother, the Saudi Khabar Ajil media said…”
Yemeni Counterterror Unit Backed by US, UK Failed to Reach All Goals – Report (sputniknews, Jun 13, 2018)
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201806131065360472-yemen-counterterror-unit-us-uk/
“Yemen’s Counterterrorism Unit (CTU), built with the help of the United States and the United Kingdom, was unable to fulfill the functions it was designed for, a report commissioned by UK-based charity Oxford Research Group said.
“The CTU was turned into an effective force because [former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah] Saleh wanted to have a competent strike force. However, it never fully fulfilled the role that the US and UK intended,” the report published on Monday read.
According to the report, the United States and the United Kingdom set up a joint training team to back the newly formed CTU. However, relations between the US and UK sides were not always smooth, and the group was eventually split.
The sources indicated that in the early 2000s, the training provided by the United States consisted of short specialist courses, often too advanced and needlessly repeated. Similar problems over lack of a cohesive training program occurred with the Coast Guard.
In 2006, the United Kingdom began changing the strategy, first by appointing Captain Philip Holihead as defense attache. It then introduced the Maritime Training and Advisory Team (MTAT), made up of permanent trainers, and the Counterterrorism Training and Advisory Team to help train the Coast Guard and the CTU, respectively.
“The UK training team had sustained access to the unit from 2006-2011. Over that period the unit became highly proficient, gained significant combat experience, and perceived itself as an elite force,” the report read.
However, the functioning of the unit faced several problems.
“Relations between the Yemeni government and tribal groups did not facilitate access, and poor coordination with intelligence services made it hard to plan operations,” the report said.
The study was prepared by journalist and historian Jack Watling, and investigative reporter and producer Namir Shabibi. The authors said they had interviewed dozens of Yemeni, US and UK sources, among others, involved in counterterrorism operations between 2014 and 2015 in Yemen…”

Italy Summons French Envoy After Macron Blasts Refusal to Accept Migrant Ship (sputniknews, Jun 13, 2018)
https://sputniknews.com/europe/201806131065358988-italy-france-summon-acquarius-migrants/
“Italy’s Foreign Minister Enzo Moavero Milanesi summoned French Ambassador to Italy Catherine Colonna after French President Emmanuel Macron called Italy “irresponsible” for refusing to accept migrants from the Aquarius vessel stranded in the Mediterranean, the ministry said in a statement.
“Following yesterday’s the statements of Paris over the Aquarius issue, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Enzo Moavero Milanesi summoned the ambassador of France to Italy to the foreign ministry this morning,” the Italian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
According to AFP news agency, citing a diplomatic source, the French ambassador will be received at 10:00 am (0800 GMT) at Farnesina, the seat of the Foreign Ministry in Rome.
The statements concerning Aquarius from France are surprising,” the Italian Council stressed, adding that Rome won’t tolerate receiving “hypocritical lessons from countries that preferred to divert the head “on the migrant crisis.
On Tuesday, Macron accused Italy of “cynicism and irresponsibility” over Rome denying entry to the ship carrying more than 600 migrants, rescued in the Mediterranean sea by the German branch of the SOS Mediterranee NGO. Spain allowed the ship to dock in Valencia after Italy’s and Malta’s refusals.
Spokesman of Macron’s La République En Marche! party, Gabriel Attal later told Public Senat TV, that the Italian position makes him “vomit,” adding, that “It’s totally unacceptable to play petty politics with human lives.”
Addressing the issue, Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini in his speech to the senate, claimed that France had only taken in 640 migrants, instead of 9,000 it had previously promised, demanding that Paris move from “words to action and offer a sign of generosity” by taking more in.
Italy’s new coalition government is taking a hardline policy on migration, as Europe is struggling to negotiate refugee quotas and a common European framework to share responsibility for migrant arrivals. Previously, minister Salvini has said that Italy can not be Europe’s “refugee camp” while the neighboring countries close borders and defend its frontiers with weapons…”
En Marche! party, Gabriel Attal later told Public Senat TV, that the Italian position makes him “vomit”

Dutch Freedom Party to Hold Prophet Mohammad Cartoon Drawing Contest (sputniknews, Jun 13, 2018)
https://sputniknews.com/europe/201806131065363708-mohammad-cartoon-drawing-contest/
“The party’s leader Geert Wilders has earlier claimed that Islam is a totalitarian ideology rather than a religion and has called for mosques to be closed and the Koran to be banned.
Dutch politician Geert Wilders’ right-wing Freedom Party will organize a competition for cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammad in an alleged attempt to defend freedom of speech in the country.
“Freedom of speech is threatened, especially for Islam critics,” Wilders said in a statement. “We should never accept that. Freedom of speech is our most important freedom.”
The party said on Tuesday that it plans to hold the contest in the party’s secure offices in the Dutch Parliament. The country’s counter-terrorism agency, NCTV, has given a green light to the initiative, the party’s representatives said.
The competition will be judged by US cartoonist Bosch Fawstin, who won a similar contest in Texas in May 2015…”
“…claimed that Islam is a totalitarian ideology rather than a religion and has called for mosques to be closed and the Koran to be banned.”
There is a lot in this reporter’s statement that is unclear.
1. The pirate who wholesale corrupted the value of G_d into enforced slaves of submission?
2. All mosques used as buttressess for jihad?
3. Korans as Adult Erotica, band from children and the infantalized Left and Far-Far Left (Alt-Right)?
So clarification is needed as to why the Satanic Verses should not be available to learn about the first human slaughter on an industrial scale that led to Socialism and later Dysfunctional Sexuality. The disconnect from reality, to hate as a norm and accuse the other of exactly what you do.
IMO islam IS an ideology first and foremost ( in fact it was the first one and it defines the term) and that it is a mass population control mechanism that uses religion as a tool not as a core. Certainly it has indoctrinated the masses into believing that it is all about allah, but it is NOT, It is about the total totalitarian control of the people by this means. have a look at how the Saudi, Qatari,Kuwaiti UAE, etc,. elites live. Islam is an excuse to control and kill people in the name of a god but for very human reasons. Communism is islam stripped of its god and using the mantra: “for the greater good” as its excuse. During the early 20th century after WW1 the Brits showed some guilt over the ME partitioning and muslims realized that the same Christian weakness that destroyed much of Europe from 632 to ~ 11th century was back in force. they have steadily pushed this Christian altruism as white mans’ guilt back at the west and hence were allowed to escape censure for many acts which would have been punished preWW1. Add the oil money post WW2 to this and the greed of the elite in the west and they had a mighty lever. What they did not expect was the help from the leftist lunacy that allows them now to steamroll Europe at will. They cannot believe how stupid is the west and hence their absolute contempt and arrogance. They use the religious facet as a means of sliding under our freedom of religion laws, but it is NOT about religion, that is just the excuse, it is about power and control.
Do note>>> “For the greater good/for the greater god”
The major part of that slide came after WWII, this was when the left got enough power to use our laws and religion against us. They also took control of the educational establishments and stopped teaching the good that the European nations did. The Moslems moved into this opening and are exploiting it. If we don’t fight and win in the future there will be a big fight between the left and Islam both groups are arrogant and think they are destined to win.
No!! The left are gutless when it becomes serious as none of our antifa heroes will die for the cause. they will all convert at the lift of a blade after all religion means nothing to them so they think. But they will first deliver us all to the muslims and laugh at it
Didn’t take guts.
They stole into our minds like thieves in the night. Gave poisoned leftist candy to our kindergardeners.
Turkey left Danish intelligence in awkward situation after hiring assassins (theregion, Jun 13, 2018)
http://theregion.org/article/13636-turkey-left-danish-intelligence-awkward-situation-after-hiring-assassins
“n January 2017, Turkey hired assassins to kill Gulenist opponents in a scandal which Denmark has tried to keep secret, Sverige Radio — a Swedish national radio — reports.
In January 2017, two civilian clothed policeman were tasked with protecting a Gulenist, given the anonymous name Mehmet, from an imminent assassination plot. They took him to a sheltered place and had intel linking Turkey’s intelligence agency, MIT, with a criminal gang tasked with killing him. He was among a few targetted by the conspiracy.
Acting quickly to prevent the assassination from taking place, Denmark’s intelligence agency PET showed up to the houses of multiple Gulen supporters, provided them with cash, told them to abandon their credit cars and avoid informing people of their whereabouts, before providing them old Nokia phones to communicate with. Meanwhile, Danish diplomats apparently called the Turkish Government and made the AKP aware of its plot, which prevented any future attacks.
Mehmet and the multiple Gulen followers who were targetted are now safe in their homes. And whereas Denmark tried to prevent the story from being disclosed, one of the sheltered reached out to journalists Daniel Ohman and Besir Kavak of Sverige Radio.
Recently, a German-Kurdish football player, Deniz Naki survived an assassination attempt. In Paris, the murder of three Kurdish women activists, Sara-Sakine Cansiz, Layla Soylemez, and Fidan Dogan has had many accuse the government of France of being complicit in Turkey’s intelligence operations abroad. In Austria, Peter Pilz of the Green Party released a report claiming that the Austria Turkey Islamic Foundation was being used as a front for MIT agents. In Germany, MIT handed over a list of 300 names for the German parliament to purge.
Last year, Danish newspaper Berlingske reported that three had been arrested on charges of spying for Erdogan, to the condemnation of Denmark’s parliament.
The embassy of Turkey refused to respond to the report released by Sverige Radio.”
Turkey seriously needs a lesson in manners and who will provide it? Certainly not the gutless EU whose elite all have their eyes on the money making if Turkey enters the EU which will be the death knell for all of Europe. I hope that Russia may yet be the one to do so…but like faith, hope is based upon wishful thinking rather than fact.
Its pretty much up to either Russia or Israel, no one in Western Europe seems to want to move against them, I don’t know about Eastern Europe. I do know that right now it would be politically dangerous for Trump to move against Turkey unless them make some overt attack on the US.
Its pretty much up to either Russia or Israel
What nerve! How dare you think of Israel as a tool, like Russia.
Policeman for Europe? Outrageous.
Wash your keyboard and my screen with soap!
Yes, the Turk needs to be stepped on.

He really is a goer this fellow. I hope that his security is good as he will be targeted with more than words and you can count upon leftist traitors selling him out to the scum.
He is combat trained and experienced but I don’t know if he was regular Israeli Army or Israeli Army Special Forces.
Seems to have a complicated personal history. Moved to Israel when he was 20, served with the Golani Brigade for 3 years, then returned to Australia.

Radical plan to split California into three states earns spot on November ballot
California’s 168-year run as a single entity, hugging the continent’s edge for hundreds of miles and sprawling east across mountains and desert, could come to an end next year — as a controversial plan to split the Golden State into three new jurisdictions qualified Tuesday for the Nov. 6 ballot.
If a majority of voters who cast ballots agree, a long and contentious process would begin for three separate states to take the place of California, with one primarily centered around Los Angeles and the other two divvying up the counties to the north and south. Completion of the radical plan — far from certain, given its many hurdles at judicial, state and federal levels — would make history.

Politicians fear for safety as threats against Congress skyrocket
WASHINGTON — Rep. Barry Loudermilk of Georgia bought body armor. Rep. Gregg Harper hired armed security guards for events back home in Mississippi. And Rep. Dan Dovonan fortified his Brooklyn and Staten Island offices with security cameras and buzzer systems.
This is the new normal for members of Congress. One year after the horrific congressional baseball shooting that almost took the life of Rep. Steve Scalise and former Hill staffer Matt Mika, members are keenly aware that serving in public office has put a target on their backs.
“The true reality is if somebody wanted to do me harm, they could probably do that with relative ease and that is sad,” said Rep. Chuck Fleishmann (R-Tenn.), a New York City native.

Gay Americans are arming themselves to stay alive
“I don’t want to get beaten to death, stabbed and burnt alive,” a slight woman with long blond hair and a checked shirt says. “I want a gun to feel equal.”
She is a member of one of the United States’ fastest-growing gun clubs, the jauntily named Pink Pistols.
Two years after the massacre at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub, gay, lesbian and transgender Americans are nervous. According to the Human Rights Center (HRC), a US LGBTI advocacy group, 52 gay people were murdered in the US last year because of their sexuality, and 28 transgender people met the same fate.
In increasing numbers, they are fighting back by taking up arms.
It’s brought them into lock step with pro-gun groups that haven’t, historically, been all that welcoming of gay people.
Australian journalist Patrick Abboud traveled to the US to meet some of the new gun-toting gay people, for a report to be broadcast on Australian news show “The Feed” on Tuesday.

You could hear the background thought here “guns kill”. Not convinced by this fellow Patrick Abboud. Is he muslim? is he apostate or is he a pretend plant. I do not trust him and just because he receives some coverage means nothing. Okay Flame away : )

Thefts rise after California reduces criminal penalties
SACRAMENTO, Calif.
California voters’ decision to reduce penalties for drug and property crimes in 2014 contributed to a jump in car burglaries, shoplifting and other theft, researchers reported.
Larcenies increased about 9 percent by 2016, or about 135 more thefts per 100,000 residents than if tougher penalties had remained, according to results of a study by the nonpartisan Public Policy Institute of California released Tuesday.
Thefts from motor vehicles accounted for about three-quarters of the increase. San Francisco alone recorded more than 30,000 auto burglaries last year, which authorities largely blamed on gangs. Shoplifting may be leveling off, researchers found, but there is no sign of a decline in thefts from vehicles.

Senate Democrats seek probe of SEC comments to Citigroup on guns
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Senate Democrats on Wednesday asked the Securities and Exchange Commission’s inspector general to investigate reports that Commissioner Michael Piwowar linked possible regulatory action to Citigroup’s policy on gun sales.
Citigroup in March added restrictions on firearms sales for new retail-sector clients after a mass school shooting in Parkland, Florida, drawing the ire of the U.S. gun lobby.
“Recent news reports indicate that the Commissioner ‘castigat[ed] them for straying into social policy’ while ‘glowering and speaking emphatically’ about guns,” the senators said in the letter.
“Most concerning are reports that Commissioner Piwowar delivered a ‘thinly veiled threat’ by suggesting that the Commission would withhold support for Citigroup’s regulatory request due to the company’s unrelated and entirely lawful corporate practices relating to firearms.”
http://www.oann.com/senate-democrats-seek-probe-of-sec-comments-to-citigroup-on-guns/
Richard: The efforts of Citi group could be looked at as an attempt to violate the constitutional rights of the gun owners and gun dealers.
The actions of Citi Group are another example of the far left taking control of large corporations to use them to achieve their social engineering goals.

Child sex gang JAILED for 89 years: Eight ‘predatory’ men abused girls as young as 13 (express, Jun 13, 2018)
https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/973705/oxford-news-child-sex-gang-jailed-thames-valley-police
“A CHILD sex gang has been jailed for nearly 90 years with the eight “predatory” men abusing girls as young as 13 in a car they dubbed the “s**gwagon”.
The gang, aged 36 to 48, were branded “predatory and cynical” by a judge as the court heard the men plied the girls with drink and drugs at parties in Oxford.
Judge Peter Ross said the case uncovered “systematic and widespread grooming”.
The sex attacks took place between 1998 and 2005 when the victims were aged between 13 and 17.
Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Nicola Douglas, of the Thames Valley Police Major Crime Unit, said: “I would like to say a huge thank you to the victims who have all demonstrated such courage and bravery throughout the investigation and during the trial.
“I know nothing can ever undo the unimaginable suffering they were put through, but I hope it gives them some comfort to know these men have finally been held accountable for the abhorrent crimes they committed.
“None of the perpetrators have admitted their guilt or shown any remorse. Various defences were deployed throughout this lengthy and complex trial, but the jury remained focused and diligent and were able to reach their guilty verdicts on the evidence presented.
“The impact of these offences on the victims, their families and relationships cannot be underestimated. There are devastating consequences which last long after the offence is committed.
“Without these women telling their stories, perpetrators who exploit and commit serious sexual offences against some of the most vulnerable children and young adults in our communities will remain hidden, unpunished and free to do more harm.”
All of the men were convicted at Oxford Crown Court in February and March this year.
Two of the men were sentenced in April at Oxford Crown Court, and the remaining six were sentenced today (12/6) at the same court.
Adrian Foster, chief crown prosecutor for Thames and Chiltern Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), said: “These cases are, in effect, organised crime, and we approached this case in the same way we would approach any organised crime case by making connections, and building an understanding of criminal networks.
“We worked closely with Thames Valley Police from early in the investigation to help build the strongest possible prosecution case. Their investigators, and Crown Prosecution Service lawyers and caseworkers, have worked tirelessly to bring this difficult prosecution to court. I thank all who bravely came forward to provide evidence for the prosecution.
“The emotional impact on the victims and their family of the abhorrent actions of these men is impossible to quantify. I hope that today’s sentences give some small comfort to them.”

They should all be hanged.
Give it time and they will be publicly hanged,
Well, that IS something to look forward to. 🙂
YES!! Bring back Tyburn!!!
Having spent the first 20 years of my life totally and actively against capital punishment I now see removal of certain individuals/groups as mandatory for the safety of mankind and despite my initial compunctions here common sense has finally prevailed: dead humans cannot hurt anybody. I would now remove ALL proven jihadists, violent rapists, serial or mass murderers immediately and bugger the psychologists wanting to study them

Iran says will begin uranium enrichment at Fordow if nuclear deal unravels
BEIRUT (Reuters) – Iran will begin uranium enrichment at its Fordow plant and will install new nuclear equipment at its Natanz facility if it withdraws from a nuclear deal with major powers, said the spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran (AEOI).
The fate of the 2015 nuclear deal is unclear after the United States withdrew from it. The other signatory nations – Russia, China, Germany, Britain and France – are trying to salvage the accord, which imposed curbs on Iran’s nuclear program in return for a lifting of some economic sanctions.
Iran has two vast enrichment sites, at Natanz and Fordow. Much of Natanz is deep underground and Fordow is buried inside a mountain, which is widely believed to protect them from aerial bombardment.
AEOI spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi said in an interview published on Wednesday that new work would begin on the nuclear program on the orders of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He did not specify what kind of new equipment might be installed at Natanz.
“Currently the Supreme Leader has ordered that the programs be carried out within the parameters of the nuclear deal,” Kamalvandi told the Young Journalists’ Club (YJC) in an interview.

Exclusive: U.S. counterspy warns World Cup travelers’ devices could be hacked
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The top U.S. counterintelligence official is advising Americans traveling to Russia for football’s World Cup beginning this week that they should not take electronic devices because they are likely to be hacked by criminals or the Russian government.
In a statement to Reuters on Tuesday, William Evanina, an FBI agent and the director of the U.S. National Counterintelligence and Security Center, warned World Cup travelers that even if they think they are insignificant, hackers could still target them.
“If you’re planning on taking a mobile phone, laptop, PDA, or other electronic device with you – make no mistake – any data on those devices (especially your personally identifiable information) may be accessed by the Russian government or cyber criminals,” he said.
“Corporate and government officials are most at risk, but don’t assume you’re too insignificant to be targeted,” Evanina added. “If you can do without the device, don’t take it. If you must take one, take a different device from your usual one and remove the battery when not in use.”

Russia, Iran, Turkey to meet on Syrian constitutional committee: U.N.
GENEVA (Reuters) – Senior officials from Iran, Russia and Turkey will meet in Geneva on June 18-19 for consultations with the United Nations about setting up a constitutional committee for Syria, U.N. Syria envoy Staffan de Mistura said in a statement on Wednesday.
He will invite other countries for relevant discussions in due course, the statement said. De Mistura is tasked with picking membership of the committee, which is expected to rewrite the Syrian constitution, paving the way for new elections as part of a post-war political reform.

Greek PM faces domestic backlash over Macedonia name deal
http://www.oann.com/greek-pm-faces-domestic-backlash-over-macedonia-name-deal/
ATHENS (Reuters) – Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras faced accusations on Wednesday from opposition politicians and media that he had surrendered part of Greece’s national identity by striking a deal with neighbouring Macedonia to settle a long-running name dispute.
Under the accord, announced by Athens and Skopje on Tuesday, the Balkan state officially known at the United Nations as “Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” would henceforth be called the “Republic of Northern Macedonia”.
The deal will open the way for Skopje’s eventual membership of NATO and the European Union, long blocked by Greece, which says use of the name “Macedonia” implies a territorial claim on a northern Greek province of the same name.
But the accord must still be approved by Macedonians in a referendum and by the parliaments of both countries, where nationalist and opposition parties have vowed to resist it.
Greece’s main opposition centre-right New Democracy party may submit a no-confidence motion against the Tsipras government, a party official said.
6 Reasons Why The Left Is Losing -The competing victim tribes will destroy THEMSELVES.
Optimistic…they might be losing but the filthy mess that they leave behind may NEVER be cleaned up. In western countries the age old cycle of the left overspending and the right being financially harsh to bring back an even keel has ground to a halt as NO conservative government can clean up this mess in 5 terms let alone the standard one or two and in the UK it IS the conservatives (supposedly). Imagine letting lunatic Corbyn in as PM? the UK would disintegrate..
Princeton pressing psych chats to turn men into little girls
Princeton University, apparently concerned that some men are behaving too dang manly and insisting one of their roles is to be a “breadwinner” for their family, is now pressing male students to participate in a bi-weekly discussion group on “healthy masculinity,” led by a licensed psychologist, no less.
Group organizers want men to cry more, it seems.
Of course, they don’t put it that way. They simply say today’s men are perpetrating “traditional gender norms” that aren’t in line with modern society — gender roles that include becoming the “breadwinner” and providing for one’s family, for example — and that those of the male persuasion simply need to become more “tremendously vulnerable,” as Campus Reform noted.
Could we pleeeaase stop making men into little girls.
Speaking from a female point of view — it’s annoying to see men act like women. It’s even more annoying to hear some dimwit in the back of the room pipe up, “Oh yeah? Well, could you define what a man’s supposed to act like then?”

OPCW Claims Sarin, Chlorine “Very Likely” Used in Syria in March 2017 (sputniknews, Jun 13, 2018)
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201806131065375945-chemical-weapons-ltamenah-opcw/
“The Fact-Finding Mission (FFM) of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) confirmed on Wednesday that chemical weapons were “very likely used” in Syria’s Ltamenah on March 24 and 25 2017, the OPCW said.
“The Fact-Finding Mission (FFM) of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), confirmed in a report released today that sarin was very likely used as a chemical weapon in the south of Ltamenah, Syrian Arab Republic, on 24 March 2017. The FFM also concluded that chlorine was very likely used as a chemical weapon at Ltamenah Hospital and the surrounding area on 25 March 2017,” the statement read.
However, the international body explained that drawing final conclusions on the issue would require a longer period of time, due “the collection of information and material, interviewing witnesses, as well as analysis of samples”.
The report released by OPCW, defines that the assumptions they made are based on “separate witness testimony, epidemiological analysis and environmental samples”, without providing any further details.

IRAN PUBLISHES 47-PAGE REPORT CRITICIZING U.S. HUMAN RIGHTS RECORD (newsweek, Jun 13, 2018)
http://www.newsweek.com/iran-report-criticizing-us-human-rights-record-974851
“U.S. politicians and rights groups regularly condemn Iran for its human rights violations, but the Islamic Republic’s parliament hit back this week by publishing a report blasting Washington’s own record.
The 47-page document accuses the U.S. of violating fundamental human rights since the days of the 13 original colonies all the way back in the 1700s.
“Historically speaking, since the thirteen states were a colony of British Empire and slavery had currency there, violation of most fundamental human rights has always been a noticeable characteristic of the U.S. governments. Then, the American white Anglo-Saxons enjoyed rights of which Native Americans, African Americans, Asians, and Latinos were deprived,” the report said, according to Iran’s state news agency IRNA .
In the 20th century, the U.S. grew in international prominence, becoming a global hegemonic force, the report alleged. The document went on to criticize the U.S. for regularly condemning rights violations committed by foreign nations without addressing its own issues.
“The U.S. has always claimed to be the role model of democracy and human rights for the world,” the report underscored. However, the document claimed that this position has been used by the U.S. to interfere in the affairs of other countries. Countries who go against Washington’s “arrogant policies and excessive demands” are frequently “accused of violating [a] human right,” Iran said.
Despite Iran’s criticism, independent watchdogs such as Human Rights Watch (HRW) and Amnesty International also frequently call out the Middle Eastern nation’s rights record. HRW’s 2018 report on Iran listed a string of problems in the country, such as the arrests of journalists, protesters and political dissidents. Minority religious groups, such as the Baha’i, also face significant discrimination and even imprisonment.
Amnesty’s 2017/2018 report on Iran detailed rights violations, saying: “The authorities heavily suppressed the rights to freedom of expression, association and peaceful assembly, as well as freedom of religion and belief, and imprisoned scores of individuals who voiced dissent.” The report added that “torture and other ill-treatment” is routinely used by authorities.
At the same time, the new report from Iran is valid in its representation of historic U.S. policies that oppressed and enslaved minority groups. In the 20th century, the CIA also worked to topple democratically elected governments that opposed Washington’s influence. More recently, the CIA after the attacks of September 11, 2001, used techniques to interrogate prisoners that are now classified as torture.
HRW’s 2018 report on the U.S. also alleged that the country “moved backward on human rights at home and abroad.” Specifically highlighting the impact of President Donald Trump’s administration, the watchdog said “members of racial and ethnic minorities, immigrants, children, the poor, and prisoners” are the most likely groups to suffer abuse in the U.S.”
Iran Arrests Prominent Human Rights Lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh (rferl, Jun 13, 2018)

“Prominent Iranian human rights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh has been arrested in the country’s capital, her husband says.
Reza Khandan wrote on Facebook that security forces appeared at the couple’s home on June 13 and took his wife to a court at Tehran’s Evin prison.
Khandan told RFE/RL’s Radio Farda that security forces said that they were taking Sotoudeh away over a prison sentence issued in the past.
“They said they have an arrest warrant for a five-year prison sentence issued for her apparently by a revolutionary court. But they didn’t have the verdict for them,” Khandan said.
He added that Sotoudeh didn’t know “anything” about the case.
The 55-year-old human rights lawyer has been pressured and jailed in the past for taking up sensitive cases…”
Islamic parties want to impose Sharia after the election, sparking opposition from Christians and some Muslims (asianews, Jun 13, 2018)
http://www.asianews.it/news-en/Islamic-parties-want-to-impose-Sharia-after-the-election%2C-sparking-opposition-from-Christians-and-some-Muslims-44158.html
“A coalition of radical Islamic parties has pledged to impose Sharia across Pakistan if it wins the next general election on 25 July.
The Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) is an alliance of five ultraconservative and fundamentalist parties. In a rally organised in Islamabad, they presented a 12-point electoral program, the first of which is the application of Islamic law.
Speaking to AsiaNews, Muslims and Christians expressed their disagreement with the proposal, noting how radical Islamic parties have always used religion to attract votes.
The MMA includes Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUIi-F), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith (JA), Tehreek-e-Jafaria Pakistan (TJP) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP).
Their own electoral base is in the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, on the border with Afghanistan.
Under the 1973 Constitution, all laws in Pakistan must conform to Islamic principles, but Sharia has never been enforced.
Experts complain that election posters often show promises to implement Sharia but at the same time do not explain how that would be done.
One of the expert is Ata-ur-Rehman Saman, coordinator of the National Commission for Justice and Peace (NCJP), who believes that regional parties have only “dusted out old slogans to attract votes.”
“Under Article 227 [of the Constitution], no law can be passed that goes against the principles of Islam. Moreover, the government already promotes the Islamic way of life, as envisaged by the Constitution in Article 31, and the Federal Sharia Court has the power to invalidate a law that does not conform with Islam.”
For Hamza Arshad, teacher and journalist, “the alliance will not get a lot of votes at the next election, but its ideological influence could have a far greater impact. This is why it is dangerous. Even if people do not vote for these parties, they will certainly hear their message.”
“Since they do not have a real election platform, they try to exploit religious feelings to gain votes. For now, Pakistanis have not yet taken the bait, but if the trend continues, it could create problems for the elected government “.
Muhammad Zubair, activist and manager of the South Asia Partnership Pakistan, notes that “The mullahs have little electoral support and it has thinned even more with the advance of social media. For this reason, they exploit religion.”
“For the alliance of political parties that wants to enforce Sharia, this is the only a way to enter the halls of power. Their goal is to pressure the government to make some gains, but they do not have the capacity to win seats. ”
According to Peter Jacob, former executive secretary of the NCJP and current director of the Centre for Social Justice, the radical manifesto “serves only to gain votes”.
For this reason, he is organising courses to train politicians in 15 districts. “For us,” he said, “the parties are the front door. It is time to negotiate with them and get commitments.”
In his view, “The right to unbiased education, the implementation of the five per cent job quota for minorities and formation of a national commission for protection of minority rights are part our basic agenda”.
Sumera Saleem, an activist, is monitoring the training of polling and presiding officers in Balochistan.
Her goal is to get political parties to take more care of women’s rights. “We are part of the global village. Liberals are blamed for misguiding youth, but nothing much is done to strengthen families and improve the educational system “.”

Jim Chilton, Arizona rancher, says Border Patrol agent’s shooting could have been averted
Jim Chilton has long warned the government about the few strands of barbed wire that separate Mexico from the U.S. on his Arizona ranch.
He says the lack of a serious barrier, combined with the Border Patrol’s enforcement decisions, have effectively ceded miles of U.S. territory to the Sinaloa cartel, which has put scouts on his hilltops and blazed smuggling trails across his land.
That combination of weak barriers and few agents ended in violence Tuesday, he said, after a Border Patrol agent was ambushed and wounded on Mr. Chilton’s property in what authorities labeled a “shooting incident” — and which has raised anew the thorny questions of border security.
The agent, who wasn’t identified, was patrolling alone about 4:30 a.m. when the shooting occurred.
He was shot in the hand and leg and took some rounds to his body armor as well, said Mr. Chilton, citing an email he received from the Border Patrol. The agent was taken to a hospital and was expected to recover.
“Thank goodness for the vest, he survived,” the rancher said.

Seattle leaders repeal Amazon ‘head tax’ passed one month ago
(UPI) — Less than one month after unanimously approving a tax on big businesses to generate funds to alleviate homelessness, the Seattle City Council on Tuesday repealed the bill due to fear of a referendum that would have reversed it.
The tax, often referred to as the “Amazon Tax” because the online retailer is the largest company in Seattle and would have paid the most, cost an extra $275 per employee each year. Amazon was a staunch opponent of the tax and funded a campaign to get a referendum to repeal it.
But it didn’t have to go that far because the Seattle City Council voted 7-2 to repeal the tax.
Councilmembers said they had to repeal because the referendum was apparently so successful, the public would have repealed it.
“This is not a winnable battle at this time,” said Councilmember Lisa Herbold, who voted to repeal the tax, the Seattle Times reported. “The opposition has unlimited resources.”
In a statement, Amazon applauded the repeal.
“Today’s vote by the Seattle City Council to repeal the tax on job creation is the right decision for the region’s economic prosperity,” Amazon Vice President Drew Herdener said.

‘It’s bonkers!’ Royal Mail staff BANNED from flying England flags to mark World Cup (express, Jun 13, 2018)
https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/973833/World-Cup-2018-England-squad-group-latest-news-Harry-Kane-Southgate-Royal-Mail
“THE Royal Mail has sparked anger after banning its delivery workers from displaying flags and stickers to cheer on England’s World Cup stars.
Postmen and delivery drivers have been barred from displaying St George’s flags or stickers while working – for health and safety reasons.
Bosses claimed the patriotic symbols could blow off workers’ their trolleys, bicycles, vans and lorries and become “hazards”.
The controversial ban will affect all of the Royal Mail’s 125,000 delivery staff, based at 1,400 delivery depots across the UK.
One furious postie said: “It’s bonkers, frankly. Many posties are football fans and want to show their support for England – but we’re not allowed to do so.”…”

How U.S. environmental groups collude with the Russians and Chinese
Two of the world’s biggest polluters are China and Russia. You would think that U.S. environmental groups would be major critics of these countries; yet, the reality is some take money from entities controlled by these governments and disseminate their propaganda.
Over the last several years, many articles have been written (several by yours truly) documenting how Russian groups funneled money into U.S. environmental organizations, which, in turn, was used to oppose fracking in the U.S. and the construction of new pipelines. Fracking and pipelines make the U.S. cleaner and also give us more energy independence at lower cost to U.S. consumers.
The Russians understandably fear the growth of the U.S. energy industry because it undermines their own (which accounts for 40 percent of their GDP). The environmental groups used the Russian monies to lobby against U.S. consumers and support their Democratic allies. Much of this took place while Robert Mueller was head of the FBI; and since government law enforcement agencies monitor foreign funds coming into the U.S., one wonders why the FBI was silent.
The Russian money was clearly used for political purposes; so, is Mr. Mueller going to give us a report on Russian funds that were used to influence the political process when he was in charge of preventing it?

NEW EU CRISIS: Poland threatens bloc chaos with CRUCIAL referendum (express, Jun 13, 2018)
https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/973745/eu-news-poland-referendum-european-union-Andrzej-Duda-constitution
“THE European Union is facing fresh crisis after Poland’s president pushed forward the prospect of holding a vote on the nation’s EU membership this autumn.
Andrzej Duda has laid out plans to directly ask his citizens about the country’s relations with Brussels.
The referendum would ask Polish people whether or not the nation’s membership of the bloc should be guaranteed in the constitution.
And another question would see them asked whether they think the primacy of the Polish constitution over international and European law should be guaranteed.
Mr Duda said: “I thought a constitutional referendum should not have more than 10 questions but decided today’s project will encompass 15 questions, and I want the Committee to discuss this topic.”
The President said the finalised questions will be announced once a formal proposal is presented to the Senate, and this will not happen before July 20.
Since Mr Duda’s election three years ago, Poland has been in a tug-of-war over sovereignty with the European Union.
Relations between the bloc and Warsaw stirred in December, when Mr Duda signed a law allowing for the overhaul of the Polish judiciary by ruling right-wing party Law and Justice.
The EU deemed the move a “serious breach” of the core values on which the union was founded.
Conversely, Mr Duda insisted this latest referendum would strengthen Poland’s presence in the union. However, the move is set to deteriorate relations with Brussels even more.
The two questions on the EU’s relationship would be part of a wide-ranging constitutional referendum.
The vote, which Mr Duda said could take place on November 10-11, may ask as many as 15 questions.
Voters would be consulted also on whether the constitution should guarantee membership of Nato.
A range of domestic issues could also be addressed, including expanding the president’s powers in foreign affairs and defence. The referendum will also look at whether the “Christian heritage” should be referenced in the constitution.
Sending Poland to the ballot box is part of Mr Duda’s attempt to update the country’s constitution.
Despite being drawn up in 1997, Mr Duda said the constitution doesn’t take into account the fact that Warsaw has joined the NATO and the EU.
Mr Duda explained there will be a consultation period to decide the final form of the referendum’s questions.
Then he will formally ask for the Senate’s approval to hold a referendum.
But it’s not clear whether the Senate, led by Law and Justice, will back Mr Duda’s proposal, as party officials fear a low turnout could be interpreted as a snub for the ruling party.
Beata Mazurek, a spokeswoman for the ruling party, said on Tuesday that Mr Duda’s proposals were “preliminary” and that Law and Justice would discuss them.”

North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un and President Trump shook hands for the cameras in front of a row of alternating U.S. and North Korean flags, as they began their historic summit meeting in Singapore shortly after 9 am local time on June 12, 2018. President Trump told reporters in brief remarks before the start of an approximately 40-minute one-on-one meeting, with just translators present, that he “felt really great” and that it was “an honor” to meet Kim Jong-un. “We’re going to have a great discussion,” Trump said. “We will have a great relationship.” Kim Jong-un declared, “Well, it was not easy to get here. The past worked as fetters on our limbs, and the old prejudices and practices worked as obstacles on our way forward. But we overcame all of them, and we are here today.”
Following their private meeting, the two leaders walked to a larger room to be joined by their respective advisers, and then attended a working lunch. The historic summit concluded after about five hours with a joint statement in which President Trump “committed to provide security guarantees to the DPRK [the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea], and Chairman Kim Jong Un reaffirmed his firm and unwavering commitment to complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.”
The joint statement described the summit as “an epochal event of great significance in overcoming decades of tensions and hostilities between the two countries and for the opening up of a new future.” The two leaders agreed to “follow-on negotiations, led by the U.S. Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, and a relevant high-level DPRK official, at the earliest possible date, to implement the outcomes of the U.S.–DPRK summit.” More summit meetings may be in the offing.

Rod Rosenstein to Congress: “We Will Subpoena Your Records”
June 13, 2018
Daniel Greenfield
I’m sure the media will be up in arms over this blatant attempt at intimidating legislators looking into government abuses some time between next Thursday and never. But it shows how open this war between elected and unelected officials is becoming.
The emails memorialized a January 2018 closed-door meeting involving senior FBI and Justice Department officials as well as members of the House Intelligence Committee. The account claimed Rosenstein threatened to turn the tables on the committee’s inquiries regarding the Russia probe.
“The DAG [Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein] criticized the Committee for sending our requests in writing and was further critical of the Committee’s request to have DOJ/FBI do the same when responding,” the committee’s then-senior counsel for counterterrorism Kash Patel wrote to the House Office of General Counsel. “Going so far as to say that if the Committee likes being litigators, then ‘we [DOJ] too [are] litigators, and we will subpoena your records and your emails,’ referring to HPSCI [House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence] and Congress overall.”
The story from the DOJ said is…
Riots In Jordan Put Gulf States On Edge
Will Abdullah II be the next Arab leader to fall?
June 13, 2018
Ari Lieberman
The oil-rich Gulf States – Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates – are not known for easily parting with their petro-dollars. But this miserly instinct dissipates when the Sheikhdoms perceive a direct threat to the stability of their respective governments. On Sunday, the three nations led by Riyadh pledged to provide Jordan with a cash infusion of $2.5 billion to help the arid kingdom prop up its free-falling economy. Separately, the European Union announced that it would provide Jordan with $23.5 million. The hefty Gulf State bailout is testament to how seriously they view the problem.
Jordan has recently experienced a spasm of popular unrest and widespread demonstrations, sparked by tax increases and painful austerity measures implemented by King Abdullah II’s prime minister, Hani Mulki, to deal with growing debt. In 2016, cash-strapped Jordan secured a $723-million loan from the International Monetary Fund. The economic reforms instituted by PM Mulki were tied to this loan but proved to be widely unpopular.
Jordanians watched as subsidies on basic food items were eliminated and standards of living declined while taxes increased. Paychecks got smaller while everything became more expensive. This was enough to push Jordanians over the edge. As the riots spread to every province and major town, Abdullah moved quickly to quell the unrest by firing his prime minister and reversing previously implemented tax hikes and austerity measures.
The move has ameliorated tensions and demonstrations have tapered off for now but the underlying problems highlighting the monarchy’s fragility remain. Jordan is a poor, mostly desert country that produces nothing and relies principally on handouts for its existence. Unemployment hovers at a staggering 18 percent and the national debt continues to rise.

India chess player quits Iran tournament over headscarf rule (BBC, Jun 13, 2018)
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-44464946
“Indian chess champion Soumya Swaminathan has pulled out of an Asian tournament in Iran over the country’s compulsory headscarf rule.
The 29-year-old Woman Grandmaster said the rule was a violation of her personal rights.
“Under the present circumstances, the only way for me to protect my rights is not to go to Iran,” she wrote in a Facebook post, which went viral.
The Asian Chess Championship will take place in Iran next month.
Ms Swaminathan, who is ranked No 5 in India, told local media that the tournament was originally supposed to be held in Bangladesh. “But once the new dates and new venue came up, I excused myself,” she said.
When asked if the All India Chess Federation (AICF) should have protested against the decision to shift location, she told the Times of India: “I can’t expect everyone to be of the same opinion as me. It’s a subjective issue.”
But in her Facebook post, Ms Swaminathan said she was “disappointed to see that player’s rights and welfare are given such less importance while allotting and/or organising official championships”.
She wrote that athletes often made adjustments for the sake of sport, but “enforceable religious dress” should not be one of them, adding that “some things simply cannot be compromised”.
Many on social media have praised Ms Swaminathan for taking a stand…”
Good for her. no doubt there will be the usual death threats from the expected sources.
Republican Senators are trying to stop Erdogan from receiving the F-35 fighter jet
Republican Senator James Lankford is 100 percent correct. One of the world’s most brutal rulers should not be in possession of the world’s most advanced fighter jet. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has used his already formidable military to ruthlessly butcher Kurdish villagers in his native Turkey. He has used his air force to harass and bully neighboring Greece and Cyprus. In March, 2018, Erdogan called for an “army of Islam” to attack Israel. Erdogan also provides military support to Hamas.
In addition, Erdogan has indicated that he will purchase the Russian S-400 air defense system. This is a total violation of NATO policy. What is the point of NATO if its members can collaborate with the Russian military? Recently, American pastor Andrew Bunson was jailed in Turkey on charges of colluding with terrorist groups. Oh really? If convicted (which is likely), this poor pastor will be sent to a Turkish hellhole for a long time. Call your Senators and demand that they support Senator Lankford’s effort to stop the butcher Erdogan from receiving the F-35 fighter jets.

Italy Sends Troops to Syria’s Oil-Rich Deir Ez-Zor Province – Reports (sputniknews, Jun 13, 2018)
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201806131065379027-italy-troops-syria/
“Currently, the US-led coalition is besieging remnants of Daesh* that have holed up in the province. According to media reports, Italian troops have arrived to support the YPG/PKK, also based in the province.
Italy has sent troops to the Eastern Syrian province of Deir Ez-Zor, the Turkish state-run Anadolu news agency reported, citing local anonymous sources. According to the outlet, Italian forces were deployed to areas controlled by Kurds roughly a week ago.
The news agency also reported that they are stationed at a US base in the oil-rich Al-Omar region. There has been no official information about the number of Italian troops deployed, nor has there been any confirmation of the reports.
The US-led coalition is currently battling Daesh* in its last bastions in the Deir Ez-Zor and Al-Hasakah provinces. Turkish media reported that Italian forces have not yet participated in any action against the terrorists, but suggested they would be supporting YPG/PKK forces.”
Notice Sputnik adds “PKK” to YPG now to delegitimize the Kurds. Cheap gesture to stroke the Turk.
Syrian Who ‘Made Up’ Terror Plot to Get Visa for Family Convicted in Germany (sputniknews, Jun 13, 2018)

“The refugee received a sentence for fighting for Daesh in Syria, but not for making up a plan for a bombing attack in Dusseldorf.
A Syrian refugee named Saleh A., who arrived to Germany via the Balkan route, has been sentenced to seven years in prison for fighting for the Daesh terrorist group on Wednesday, Berliner Zeitung reported.
The Duesseldorf Higher Regional Court found the man guilty of being a member of two terrorist organizations, but stated that he had lied about being involved in planning a bombing attack in Dusseldorf.
Saleh A. went to the police in Paris in 2016 and claimed that he was ordered to carry out a terrorist attack in Dusseldorf. He was then extradited to Germany in September 2016 and spent many months in custody, along with two other alleged suspects who, as he said, had been organizing the plot.
The news caused a big fuss, but later it turned out that the refugee made up the whole thing, hoping “to receive a reward, win the right to stay in Germany and bring over his family.”…”
German MP: ‘Merkel is Chancellor for Refugees, Not for German People’ (sputniknews, Jun 13, 2018)
https://sputniknews.com/analysis/201806131065380041-germany-refugees-asylum-system/
“The murder of a teenage German girl in Wiesbaden by a rejected asylum-seeker is raising a debate in Germany about the country’s refugee policy. Sputnik discussed the incident with Sebastian Munzenmaier, an AfD member of parliament for Mainz, the home city of the slain girl.
Sputnik: What would be your response to those who say that the asylum system in Germany partly to blame for what happened?
Sebastian Munzenmaier: I would respond that these people are nearly right, because asylum system is not partly to blame — it is totally to blame. Since Chancellor Merkel opened our borders in 2015, no-one in Germany has any idea of who is living here. By our system we are not able to shift off even known terrorists.
Our courts are totally over-challenged by the wave of cases and the government has no political will neither to get rejected asylum-seekers out of Germany, nor for preventing new ones from entering Germany…”
