  1. A New DNC Rule Might Mean Bernie Sanders Won’t Be Running For President In 2020
The new rules require anyone running for the Democratic nomination to actually…be a Democrat.

The Democratic National Committee desperately wants perennial progressive favorite Bernie Sanders out of the running for the 2020 presidential elections, and this time, they may have blocked him from the race without having to resort to superdelegates.

According to Fox News, the DNC adopted a new rule at the annual conference in Providence, Rhode Island, this weekend, barring anyone who does not “run and serve” as a Democrat from competing for the Democratic nomination for president.

  2. Blue-State Fasicism: NY Considers ‘Publicity’ Law That Could Harm Reporting On Politicians And Celebrities

New York, the bluest of the blue corrupt Democrat states. It’s a means to protect the left elite and criminalize those who dissent. Slanderism, under the guise of journalism, is escalating — destroy, smear and defame those who dissent on the right.

Freedom of speech is the foundation of a free society. Without it, these tyrants can wreak havoc unopposed, while their opponents are silenced. If speech that offends a group is outlawed, that group has absolute power, and a free society is destroyed. A group that cannot be criticized cannot be opposed. It can work its will no matter what it is, and no one will be able to say anything to stop it.

NY Considers ‘Publicity’ Law That Could Harm Reporting On Politicians And Celebrities

Kyle Perisic, Daily Caller, June 9, 2018:

New York is considering legislation that would dramatically change the way journalists report individual’s names, making names effectively the same as property, a digital right group says.

The bill would “dramatically expand New York’s right of publicity, making it a property right that can be passed on to your heirs – even if you aren’t a New York resident,” the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) said on Friday in a public statement.

It would make it illegal to report on someone, like a celebrity or a politician according to EFF. (RELATED: EFF Defeats Patent Troll’s Podcast Lawsuit That Silenced Adam Carolla)

“Celebrities have brought right of publicity cases against movies, rap lyrics, magazine features, and computer games. The right of publicity has even been invoked to silence criticism of celebrities,” EFF claims.

“The right of publicity is an offshoot of state privacy law that gives a person the right to limit the public use of her name, likeness, or identity for commercial purposes. A limited version of this right makes sense—for example, allowing you to stop a company falsely claiming that you endorse its products,” EFF added. “But the right of publicity has been expanded in recent years thanks to misguided legislation and court decisions.”

“If enacted, this legislation would have significant impact on the expressive rights of individuals, activists, journalists, and companies around the United States,” EFF wrote in a public memo to the New York state assembly, asking lawmakers not to support the bill.

The bill, A08155, is sponsored by Democrat Joseph Morelle and first introduced in the state legislature on May 31, 2017.

It “[e]stablishes the right of privacy and the right of publicity for both living and deceased individuals; provides that an individual’s persona is the personal property of the individual and is freely transferable and descendible; provides for the registration with the department of state of such rights of a deceased individual; and that the use of a digital replica for purposes of trade within an expressive work shall be a violation,” according to the bill’s summary.

Morelle received negative press coverage on May 23 for making an “insensitive comment” about a rape case in 2001, for which he later apologized in a statement, Democrat and Chronicle reported.

    • This is stupider then most of the liberals actions, if passed it is going to make criminals out of anyone that posts anything about anyone. There won’t be any reporting on what the politicians are doing because it will be illegal to say what any politician is doing. It will also stop the reporting on the stuidity of the Hollywood left..

  3. Evil Putin makes a Surprisingly Good Point about George Soros

Let me just get this out of the way before we dive in to this bit of news…

In an effort to make it clear that I am not a Putin-funded Ukrainian “troll,” let me be clear… Vladimir Putin is an evil man, who employs evil tactics, to carry out evil deeds, with his evil partners all over the world.

However, just because we can agree that Vladimir Putin is a bad guy, doesn’t mean he’s always wrong about everything.

For example, in a recent interview with Austria’s ORF TV, Putin made a solid argument while speaking about the similarly evil George Soros.
“He (George Soros) interferes all over the world, there are rumors that George Soros is planning to make the Euro highly volatile.”

    From Bloomberg News:

Putin Teases That His Troll-Factory Ally Is Just Like Soros

Vladimir Putin has long denied meddling in Western elections, including U.S. allegations that one of his allies backed a “troll factory” targeting the presidential vote in 2016. But this week, the Russian leader seemed to drop a hint the picture might not be so black and white.

In an interview with Austria’s ORF television released Monday, he drew a parallel to financier George Soros, who’s long been accused in the former Communist world of subverting governments at Washington’s behest.

“He intervenes in things all over the world,” Putin said, adding that Soros has lately been accused of trying to break up the euro zone. “But the State Department will tell you that it has nothing to do with that, that this is the personal business of Mr. Soros.”

“Well for us, this is the personal business of Mr. Prigozhin,” Putin said, referring to Yevgeny Prigozhin, a wealthy businessman who’s been accused by the U.S. of funding Internet trolling and other election interference. “There’s your answer. Does that response satisfy you?” Putin, smiling,

  4. Baroness Warsi says Islamophobia is rampant in UK Conservative party (mee, Jun 11, 2018)

“One of former prime minister David Cameron’s top officials said to Business Insider on Monday that Islamophobia is rampant in the UK’s Conservative Party.

Baroness Warsi, who served as Cameron’s minister without portfolio, told Business Insider: “[Islamophobia] is very widespread [in the Conservative party]. It exists right from the grassroots, all the way up to the top,” she said.

“I don’t think it’s something that Theresa is a part of, but I do believe it is something the leadership feels can be easily ignored,” she said, referring to current UK Prime Minister Theresa May.

“I think that there is a general sense in the country that Muslims are fair game and it is not the kind of community where you can treat really badly and have many consequences. You can get any with it,” she added.

Warsi has called out Islamophobia several times in the past. In March of last year, she criticised Prevent, the UK counter-extremism programme, for unfairly targeting Muslims…”

“The National Iranian Oil Company announced that Tehran’s revenues from the joint oil fields with Iraq amounted to $5 billion annually.

According to the government run IRNA news agency, the Iranian Oil Ministry announced that 300,000 barrels are produced in the oil fields west of the Karun River per day.

  6. Anti-Islam Movement Angers Muslims by Roasting Pigs Near Mosque in Holland (moroccoworldnews, Jun 11, 2018)

“Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamisation of the West (Pegida) disrespected Muslims during Ramadan. The anti-Islam movement recently roasted pigs in front of Laleli mosque in Holland’s Rotterdam city at the time of breaking fast.

Pegida took advantage of Islam’s restriction on the consumption of pork, as it is regarded as “impure,” to provoke Muslims not only in the Dutch province but worldwide.

Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Omer Celik strongly condemned the act, severely criticizing Rotterdam’s mayor, Ahmed Aboutaleb, especially because he a Moroccan Muslim, calling his decision to grant permission for the action “immoral.”

Celik compared Aboutaleb with other mayors such as the Hague’s mayor, Pauline Krikke, who banned Pegida’s barbeque party at the As-Soennah mosque in the city.

Turkish Muslim organizations in Rotterdam lay flowers around the mosque as a symbol of peace against hate crimes.

Celik stated on his Twitter account prior to the peace demonstrations that “flowers against the odour of hate” would be “a true lesson of humanity.”

Rotterdam newspaper Algemeen Dagblad reported that Pegida had planned to roast the pigs in front of various mosques in the Netherlands, in Arnhem, Gouda, Utrecht, and the Hague, and Rotterdam during the Ramadan iftar (the breaking fast time) until the evening prayer.

Earlier in June, Pegida shared a series of posts on Facebook, encouraging its followers to participate in the notorious barbeque in front of many mosques.

One post reads: “We have good surprises for mosque Utrecht…behold!”

“The barbecues will start every evening at 8:30 p.m. Anyone who brings their own plate and cutlery and a good anti-Islam mood is welcome,” a previous post read, according to Netherlands news outlet NL Times.”
