Russia, Qatar sign ‘military and technical’ cooperation agreement (alaraby, Oct 26, 2017)
https://www.alaraby.co.uk/english/news/2017/10/25/russia-qatar-sign-military-and-technical-cooperation-agreement
“Russia and Qatar signed an inter-governmental agreement on military and technical cooperation in Doha on Wednesday, according to official state media.
Russian Defence Minister, Army General Sergey Shoigu and Qatari Minister of State for Defence Khalid bin Mohammad al-Attiyah endorsed the deal, Russia’s official news agency TASS said.
The representatives of Rosoboronexport and the Qatari Defense Ministry signed a memorandum and a frame contract on the military and technical cooperation in the two ministers’ presence during an official visit to Doha, TASS reported.
“I hope that today’s talks will serve the interest of further strengthening our cooperation in the military and technical fields,” Shoigu said during his meeting with Attiyah.
“This visit underscores the determination of the friends of Doha in Russia to develop and strengthen bilateral cooperation with their country,” the minister added.
The ministers also discussed a number of regional and international issues, particularly the Gulf crisis and its implications for regional security, as well as developments of the situation in Syria and international efforts to end the conflict, Qatar’s New Agency [QNA] reported.
The meeting also tackled the ongoing Saudi-led blockade of Qatar, which has continued for six months, and called for the international community to find urgent solutions to the crises of the region through establishing security and stability in the fight against terrorism and extremism.
On June 5, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt cut off diplomatic and transport ties with Qatar, accusing it of supporting terrorist groups across the region.

Everyone, please remember that the correct English pronunciation of Qatar is “gutter”.
All who are shocked by this astonishing revelation, please line up over at Daily Kos.
Thank-you-very-much.
Russia is stepping in to replace Iran as the big protector of Qatar, this move forces the US to provide more support to Saudi or Saudi will move to become the good friend of Saudi. Putin is playing GO against the west and for the most part the west is playing go fish.
It’s a killer, isn’t it?
The U.S. is _the_ protector of Gutter, with U.S. CENTCOM sitting at al-Udeid, our biggest ME base.
Gutter plays footsie with Iran because they share the biggest gas field in the world, and because it likes to play teenager to the Saudi daddy. Iran’s not about to engage the U.S. military at al-Udeid; Gutter can thumb its bloody snout at us with impunity.
It’s Iran’s insolence and our crouching response that’s the real issue. They make us lose face in a region where that’s THE most important factor of all. Words and gestures: Middle East hard currency.
Russia’s in no position to protect anybody in the Gulf.It can and does PLAY the role, and sometimes that’s all that’s necessary. We’ve been mealy-mouthed equivocators even though we’re vastly more capable – at our weakest – than the refried USSR.
It’s Putin’s posture and credibility that’s drawing our closest allies to his doorstep. One resolute stance, one unfaltering commitment – to Assad in Syria – THAT outweighs all our “nuance”. He provides space to sort things out, and he gets to jab us for free. It’s fun.
We are not trustworthy. We don’t even make good-faith gestures, irrespective of whether we could or would back them up. Pity our State Department doesn’t hire people who know the region inside-out. They do exist, you know…
0 was a traitor. PT-45 missed his chance to change the message when he didn’t clean house January 20. On the ground in the ME, PT’s good intentions become just so much hot air, immediately neutralized by Tillerson’s chilly diplo-speak.
Personnel is policy.
Bow-wows remain in charge: Just take a look at Brett McGurk. Then think would-shoulda-coulda, last 8 months in Iraq. How quiet diplomacy might’ve prevented Barzani from the strategic blunder in his timing for the Kurdish referendum. A month before elections in Baghdad? How would you expect the incumbent Iraqi prime minister to respond to such a challenge?
Our military played hide-&-seek against ISIS for years. Commanding officers who looked the other way or didn’t resign when they saw what was going on under 0 lost their moral authority. They don’t merit continuing authority on the ground. (Some even continue to speak of ISIL. Or Jackass Kerry’s cutesy “Daesh”.)
So everybody’s beating a path to Uncle Vlad’s door. Some probably sent gift-wrapped pallets of cash along with their petition for an invitation. Once there, they bought toys they didn’t need just to make nice.
If I know Putin’s not able to enforce discipline or provide much material assistance, they do too. But he’s a skilled arbiter, has stellar intelligence, and knows the Oriental mind.
Scratch a Russian, you’ll find a Tartar.……..
I don’t want to scattershot by mentioning the Turk in Europe, China, Nork, Venezuela [!]. Obviously they’re part of the strategic picture.
But focus on the Gulf, Iran, Russia, USA.
That’s plenty. Juggling an exploding globe leads to catastrophic speculation, not productive insight.
Yes O was a traitor and the damage that he did to the US credibility will take many decades and a minimum of one major war to restore. I agree that in an ideal world PT would have fired everyone even thought to be deep state, unfortunately this isn’t an ideal world and he had to keep some swamp critters in the White House and place some of them in high position. Right now we are stuck with a military that is way too small for the job on hand and a Congress that will not cut other budgets to give us enough money to rebuild to the strength we need in the time we have available.
Yes O and his actions cost us face in the MIddle East and the Far East. This is why the Philippine President is sucking up to China and Russia he knows that while the Republicans (at least this one) will defend his nation he also knows that the next time the Dems get in power they won’t defend his nation. This is why Japan and Taiwan are busy building an alliance of Far Eastern Nations that will be big enough to provide shelter from China because they know that the Dems aren’t to be trusted and this means that the US isn’t either, not in the long run.
You were talking about how Russia can’t provide protection but that Putin is a great arbiter and that is why they are bribing him by cash presents and buying military items they don’t really need. As I have said before the game that is being played in all of Asis is GO, the press in the West thinks Putin is playing chess but in reality it is go. The Western politicians are playing either go fish or old maid.
The Asian leaders who understand the west know that all western nations are headed into major civil wars These wars so far have been semi peaceful and at the ballot boxes but how long this will remain true is anyone guess. This is another reason to distrust the US, they don’t know which side will win the civil war and don’t know what out new government will look like or if we will be interested in defending our old allies. Understanding this doesn’t help any when I see our friends being placed in harms way and the US being unable to defend them or when I see allies sucking up to what are our enemies in an attempt to remain free.
Yeah, that’s a really good point.
The devolution of our party system and the way the media is framing it erode confidence in our stability. The Left’s outrageous antics since the election definitely cost us. We’re looking unstable, a little above junk bonds.
Inconsistencies in American foreign policy are especially hard for autocratic foreign partners. They see changes through the conspiracy lens, act crazy because they really believe the most outlandish theories.
Total conspiracy nuts because they themselves are always conspiring.
Disingenuous, crafty in a zero-sum game, they form unstable coalitions. Might come naturally from growing up with separate sets of step-brothers and sisters, watching Mom compete for the honor of serving Dad.
It shouldn’t, but it really bothers me watching our allies “sucking up to China and Russia” as you put it.
No-good-niki Uncle Vlad gets such a kick out of it, I can’t stand it.
It bothers me to but I can’t to anything about it. I don’
t know if Czar Vlad really expects the US to be destroyed or if he is just enjoying pulling our tail while we are weak?
Yes we look very unstable and untrustworthy right now although that will change over the next few years (probably). With what is coming out about Uranium one and other scandals the libs are in trouble and with luck will remain out of power for many decades. I use to know some people who thought that all it would take to restore the trust in the US as for a Repub to be elected. Even it this had been true seeing the former Repub Presidents out campaigning for the Dems has destroyed that idea. They no longer know who is going to win in the US and if the wrong people win there goes our support for freedom.
US drone strike kills 13 ‘IS fighters’ in Yemen (alaraby, Oct 26, 2017)
https://www.alaraby.co.uk/english/news/2017/10/25/us-drone-strike-kills-13-is-fighters-in-yemen
“Thirteen suspected Islamic State group fighters were killed in a US drone strike in central Yemen, security sources said on Wednesday, as the US and six Gulf states announced sanctions against militants in the war-torn country.
The strike in Bayda province would be the second known US strike against IS in Yemen.
The first came just over a week ago, when the US military said it had killed dozens of jihadists at IS training camps in the same province.
The United States is the only country known to operate armed drones over Yemen, but its previous known strikes have targeted al-Qaeda.
IS has however risen to prominence in the country’s civil war, targeting both government forces and Houthi rebels, which it considers heretics.
Washington has intensified its drone war against Yemen-based jihadists since US President Donald Trump took power in January…”
US Navy aids Iran fishing boat in pirate attack (gulfnews, Oct 26, 2017)
http://gulfnews.com/news/americas/usa/us-navy-aids-iran-fishing-boat-in-pirate-attack-1.2113131
“An American destroyer has come to the aid of an Iranian fishing boat after a pirate attack off Yemen, the US Navy said Wednesday.
Iran’s coast guard called the US naval command in Bahrain to report Tuesday’s incident and to ask for help following the attack south of Yemen’s Socotra island, the Navy said in a statement
The US command coordinated with an international naval task force which is in the region to battle pirates.
Along with the Japanese destroyer JS Amagiri, the USS Howard reached the vessel and its sailors “provided food and water, made repairs, and gave medical aid to three injured civilian mariners,” the statement read.
The coordination between Iranian authorities and the US stands in contrast to a series of recent encounters in which the US has complained of unprofessional Iranian naval behaviour.
For instance, in July, a US Navy patrol ship fired warning shots at an Iranian Revolutionary Guard vessel in the Gulf as it closed in on the American vessel.”

THE MISINFORMATION AND MALFEASANCE OF MEDIA MYTHS – PART II
Last evening, Richard’s deceptively uncomplicated reply to my previous “Reader’s Link” brought up numerous issues that provide additional and useful insights into the end results of Propaganda Media’s downplaying about the threats posed by Islamic jihad.
So, as Richard inarguably notes:
“If the “terrorists” use any WMD on one US city the politicians will be faced with a binary choice…”
Although this is absolutely true, with or without a WMD attack on American soil, our nation ALREADY IS confronted with a, “binary choice”. Either we surrender to Islam right now or immediately quash its invasive ability. Any delays in making either move means incredibly avoidable and reprehensible losses of human life. Got that?
What few in the Propaganda Media—regardless of rank, stature or even partisan alignment—will ever admit or reveal to us, the great unwashed, is that an immediate surrender to Islam would claim far more lives than even a relatively prolonged conventional war against the global Muslim population. An unconventional war (by Western nations), “against the global Muslim population” would last a few HOURS.
The reason regarding this abrupt need for resolution involves a complex set of issues. When it comes to Islam’s concept of jahiliyyah—as in, the period of conveniently, putative “confusion and disorder” that precedes any arrival of sharia law in non-Muslim lands—which typically is paired with Al-Insan al-Kamil, regarding the notion of Mohammad being the “perfect man”, worthy of painstaking emulation by all Muslim males.
Taken in combination, this catastrophically and unimaginative doctrinal pairing manufactures a widespread Islamic objective which demands that our world should be returned to a socioeconomic milieu approximating the time of Mohammad (some 1,400 years ago). This utterly deranged and supremely duplicitous ideological artifice—please note how prized modern, rapid-fire, automatic weapons are amongst the very first choice of terrorist Muslims who, otherwise, vehemently command the institution of these ultra-violent throwback “cultures”—is responsible for destruction of Afghanistan’s irreplaceable Bamiyan Buddhas and (more recently) the equally priceless Palmyra ruins in Syria. “The Bamiyan Buddhas of Afghanistan” – 02:11:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYPjOeJyNDI
This next video is particularly hard to watch as it depicts intentional defacing and vandalism of these no-longer-dazzling Palmyra treasures. “PALMYRA RUINS VISION | Before and after ISIS Attack” – 08:04:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASoAsAPGYgY
As Mullah Omar—the Taliban leader who knowingly sheltered Osama bin Laden during his planning of the 9-11 Atrocity—once said about the Bamiyan vandalism, “We are only breaking stones.” What then, should the Islamic world have to say when irrevocably frustrated Western powers decide that destruction of Mecca’s sacred Ka’bah merely deserves to be termed as, “only breaking [a stone]”? Can you imagine the howls of outrage when Muslims would be subjected to the exact same degree of disregard that they constantly presume as their right to impose upon the world?!?
What should be their (collective) punishment? As if Islam’s routine obliteration of inestimably precious Western (and Oriental) monuments do not merit immediate and equal-or-better retaliation. This matter of retribution brings to mind a quote by Niccolo Machiavelli:
“If an injury has to be done to a man it should be so severe that his vengeance need not be feared.”
So it is with Islam. At present, the price of tolerating the evildoing of this planet’s Muslim population is already well beyond any value they bring to Civilization’s table. The price tag of interdicting random jihadist terrorism (an impossible task at best and a ridiculous cost burden to begin with) long-ago exceeded the expense of simply appropriating the only bankable asset that Islam possesses, namely oil.
Plainly put, taking over the Middle East oil fields would have been less expensive than continuing to financially accommodate this delige of jihadist violence and mayhem. The sole complication (and not insignificant issue) being that Russia and Communist China would take a dim view of Western nations securing control over this massive reservoir of natural resources.
None of which addresses how both of these anti-Western (Socialist) elements benefit immensely from the present arrangement that bleeds their opponents white and maintains a constant state of instability where it does the most harm to American and European interests.
As things stand, the West (and elsewhere) already is experiencing a constant “bio war attack“. Make no mistake, in both America and (especially within) Europe, demographic displacement has emerged as a clear-cut form of biological warfare. Islamic higira—a reenactment of Mohammad’s migration from Mecca to Medina—represents a form of “slow” (but inexorable) jihad that has seeded dozens of prosperous Western nations with seditious and hostile Muslim populations.
In its mildest form of “economic tourism” these new arrivals drain Western coffers at an alarmingly disproportionate rate (compared to almost any other competing ideological group). None of which includes the Islamic concept of jizyah (i.e., tribute) whereby many immigrant Muslims regard the unrestrained leeching of host country finances to merely be their expected due as the world’s Master Race™.
Finally, there is a global aspect to this aforementioned “bio war attack”. With birth rates that far exceed almost any other demographic segment on the planet, Muslims continue to—be it in their nations of origin or newly occupied hosts—consume resources in a completely lopsided manner.
Moreover, wherever they go, Muslims constantly spread the very most backward sorts of political, medical, theological, therapeutic, technological, judicial, agricultural, and organizational structures.
This is the ultimate drain upon Western resources as these non-assimilating and supremely hostile groups work with determined effort to destroy modern Civilization. What will be the West’s (appropriate) response when it comes to ENDING the (slow, fast, demographic, economic, judicial, sociological, ideological or ETHICAL) challenges that Islam confronts us with?!?
The floor is open to all comers.
As is true in all wars after a certain point (one we passed a long time ago) delaying the war increases the causalities on both sides, and if the war is delayed the number of causalities is increased by one or more orders of magnitude. Our (the entire west) refusal to admit that Islam is at war with the world has already increased the eventual viciousness of both sides and will continue to do so until the war is over. The delay in fighting this as a war of survival has already increased the eventual number of causalities by at least one order of magnitude and it will probably increase by several more before the war is over.
We are facing Islam and their determination to dominate the world along with the left in various incarnations around the world with one these incarnations credibly threatening to detonate a hydrogen bomb over the Pacific. We have Russia taking advantage of Obama’s treason to become the major power broker in the Middle East. We have Erdogan and Iran jockeying to become the new leader of Islam. We have Turkey, Iran and the newly diminshed ISIS jockeying to take over Europe, South America and eventually the US. All of this could have been avoided if Jimmy Carter had reacted forcibly to the seizer of the US Embassy in 79, if Cap Wineburger (sp?) hadn’t stopped the retaliotary strike against Iran after the Marine Barracks were blown up in Lebanon. If Bill Clinton had reacted to the many terror (military) attacks on the US including blowing up an Embassy and damaging a US warship.
The refusal to fight this war as a war has increased the length of the war and the numbrr of dead on both sides. We are rapidly approaching the point where an attack with some WMD on the US or one of our allies will occur. We are going to have to decide if we want multipal millions of Eurpean, Canadian, Australian, Kiwis, and US civilians dead in the war or are we willing to use our own WMDs in a first strike to remove the entire religion? Even if we decide to make a first strike the enemy agents in place in the west will carry our attacks that will kill a lot of people.
This weekend I’ll come back to your essays and the responses to them.
A quick skim, I know they’re worth the time.

BUDAPEST: A Pakistani man wanted by Interpol for "70 contract murders" has been arrested in Hungary among a group of migrants caught trying to reach Austria, police said Wednesday.
The 35-year-old Pakistani man was discovered when the group was apprehended near Hungary's southern borders on Tuesday, police in Bacs-Kiskun county told AFP in a statement.
"Pakistan has issued an international arrest warrant for murder for (the man) who was then arrested," said the statement, without providing further details.
Detectives in nearby Austria said that the man, who is allegedly known as the "Pakistani butcher", is a professional gunman accused of "around 70 contract murders" in Pakistan.
The migrants were being smuggled to Austria before being caught at Boly, which is 175 kilometres (109 miles) south of Budapest and near Hungary's borders with Croatia and Serbia, said the statement by the Austrian Federal Criminal Bureau.

New screenings begins for passengers on US-bound flights (abcnews, Oct 26, 2017)
http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/screenings-begins-passengers-us-bound-flights-50728568
“New security screenings for all passengers on U.S.-bound flights began on Thursday, with airlines worldwide questioning flyers about their trip and their luggage in the latest Trump administration decision affecting global travel.
However, confusion still remains about the new regulations, which come at the end of a 120-day period following the United States lifting a ban on laptops in airplane cabins affecting 10 Mideast cities. The new regulations cover all the 2,100 flights from around the world entering the U.S. on any given day.
Some airlines said they had received permission to delay implementing the new rules until January.
At Dubai International Airport, the world’s busiest for international travel, long-haul carrier Emirates began questioning passengers about their luggage, liquids they were carrying and where they were coming from. Passengers also had to have their carry-on bags searched, along with their electronics.
Emirates declined to discuss the new procedures in detail on Thursday. On Wednesday, it said it would conduct “passenger pre-screening interviews” for those traveling on U.S.-bound flights in concert with other checks on electronics.
Elsewhere, things did not appear to be going so smoothly. In China, an official in the Xiamen Airlines press office, who would only give his surname as Qiu, said that the airlines received a “demand” about the new U.S. regulations and planned “to take some security measures, including security safety interviews from today on.”

“A Pakistani judge issued an arrest warrant for former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday, after he failed to appear in court in the capital, Islamabad, to face corruption charges.
The developments are the latest in an ongoing saga surrounding the disgraced Sharif who was dismissed from office in July by the country’s Supreme court for concealing assets abroad.
Judge Mohammad Bashir also rejected a request from Sharif’s lawyer Khawaja Haris that the former premier be exempted from court appearances in order to remain in London, where his ailing wife is getting medical treatment.
Though Sharif was a no-show, his daughter, Maryam Nawaz, and her husband, Mohammad Safdar — both also charged in the same case as Sharif — were present in the courtroom though Sharif’s two sons, also charged in the same case, were absent. The sons are also in London.
The judge then scheduled the next hearing for Nov. 3. Sharif, who has been indicted in three corruption cases over concealing assets abroad, has skipped several court hearings so far. Trump rips Clinton link to Fusion GPS dossier as a ‘disgrace,’ says Russia ‘hoax is turned around’
President Trump, in a wide-ranging sparring session with reporters Wednesday afternoon, blasted Hillary Clinton over new revelations her campaign helped fund a salacious anti-Trump dossier last year – calling the project a “disgrace” and claiming the tables have turned on Democrats over the “Russia hoax.”
“They’re embarrassed by it, but I think it’s a disgrace,” Trump told reporters, before heading to Texas for a briefing on Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts and a Republican fundraiser. “It’s a very sad commentary on politics in this country.”
In the midst of a court case that threatened to reveal the dossier’s funding, it emerged Tuesday night that political consulting firm Fusion GPS was retained last year by Marc E. Elias, an attorney representing the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign. The firm then hired former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele to write the dossier that contained unverified and lurid allegations about Trump and his team’s ties to Moscow.
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/10/25/trump-rips-clinton-link-to-fusion-gps-dossier-as-disgrace-says-russia-hoax-is-turned-around.html
Why doesn’t Hillary’s ‘dossier’ trick count as treason?
What’s the difference between the infamous Russian dossier on Donald Trump and that random fake-news story you saw on Facebook last year? The latter was never used by America’s intelligence community to bolster its case for spying on American citizens nor was it the foundation for a year’s worth of media coverage.
Then again, you get what you pay for. We now know Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee paid as much as $9 million for the discredited dossier on Trump.
According to the Washington Post, a lawyer named Marc Elias, who represented both the 2016 Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee, had hired Fusion GPS, a DC firm working on behalf of the Russian government to soften sanctions at the time, to provide opposition research for them. The firm then hired a former British spy named Christopher Steele who reportedly purchased salacious rumors about Trump from the Russians.

A Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer who launched what would become known as the anti-Trump ‘dirty dossier’ denied involvement in the project for a year as reporters pressed him for information.
Marc Elias brokered a deal between the Clinton camp, the Democratic National Committee and opposition research firm Fusion GPS to dig up dirt on the president while he was running for office.
But a pair of New York Times reporters said Tuesday night on Twitter that Elias and others involved had lied about their ties to the arrangement.
‘Folks involved in funding this lied about it, and with sanctimony, for a year,’ Times reporter Maggie Haberman tweeted after The Washington Post linked the dossier to Elias and his law firm Perkins Coie.
Kennth Vogel, another Times journalist, tweeted: ‘When I tried to report this story, Clinton campaign lawyer @marceelias pushed back vigorously, saying “You (or your sources) are wrong”.’

The FBI’s Political Meddling
Mueller is the wrong sleuth when his ex-agency is so tangled up with Russia.
https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-fbis-political-meddling-1508883468
This is why several things need to happen and happen real soon:
1)Meuller needs to resign
2) A new special prosecutor (from outside of the DC groups) needs to be appointed.
3) We need some one to start an investigation of the FBI to discover how deep the corruption runs and how many of the FBI agents need to be fired, sent to the pen or both. At a rough guess the FBI has been contaminated to the extent that most of the agents on both coasts need to be fired and their pensions stripped from them.
4) We meed am investigator to see how deep the corruption runs in the DOJ, then the corral prosecutors need to be fired, prosecuted and their pensions stripped from them along with their law licenses.
Clinton’s collusion: Who will investigate the new Russia scandal?
After more than a year of lying denials, Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee now stand exposed as the funders of that salacious dossier alleging years of collusion between the Kremlin and Donald Trump.
The FBI stands exposed, too — as having agreed to keep paying for the same research after Trump was elected.
All of which raises lots of disturbing questions, plus the possibility that if anyone colluded with Moscow, it was Team Hillary.
The Washington Post reported that Clinton and the DNC paid millions to a DC law firm, Perkins Coie, which in turn hired Fusion GPS to investigate Trump.

The canadian prime minister, Justin Trudeau, has not been impressed by the clarification of quebec’s minister of Justice, Stéphanie Vallée.
The prime minister Justin Trudeau is being left more and more to hear that he will oppose to the Law on the religious neutrality of Quebec, leaving the door wide open to a challenge to federal. But his position does not make the unanimity within his cabinet. At least two of his ministers believe that Ottawa does not get mixed up with the question.

NYC mayoral candidate once tried to hijack an airplane
A vote for him isn’t politics as usual.
New York City’s newest mayoral candidate once hijacked an airplane with a handgun and demanded it be flown to Antarctica or Argentina to battle a make-believe group of evildoers, according to a report.
Aaron Commey, a Libertarian candidate from the Bronx, was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia 17 years ago when he stormed the cockpit of an airplane at JFK Airport with a whacked-out mission, according to City and State New York.
Commey — whose name will grace the ballot Nov. 7 — ordered pilots to boot 150 passengers and crew members off the Las Vegas-bound Boeing 757 in order to parachute into the frigid continent, according to reports at the time.

North Korean official: Take hydrogen bomb threat ‘literally
Pyongyang (CNN)A senior North Korean official has issued a stern warning to the world that it should take “literally” his country’s threat to test a nuclear weapon above ground.
The official, Ri Yong Pil, told CNN in an exclusive conversation in Pyongyang that the threat made by North Korea’s foreign minister last month should not be dismissed. North Korea “has always brought its words into action,” Ri said, visibly angry.

Britain’s population will hit 70 million before 2030 and more than HALF the increase in the next decade will be from immigration (dailymail, Oct 26, 2017)
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5019505/Britain-s-population-hit-70-million-2030.html
“Britain’s population will surge past 70 million before the end of the next decade, new forecasts reveal today with more than half the increase caused by immigration.
The number of people living in Britain will rise by 3.6 million – 5.5 per cent – in a decade and the country will be home to 70 million by mid 2029.
The new forecast from the Office for National Statistics considers immigration, fertility and life expectancy.
It concluded that over the next ten years, 46 per cent of UK population growth is projected to result from more births than deaths, with 54 per cent attributed to net international migration.
Taking into account babies born to foreign parents in Britain, immigration will indirectly account for 77 per cent of the population growth…”

Her husband Ummar Mirza and his sister Zainub Mirza had already pleaded guilty to similar offences, with all three due to be sentenced on 1 December.

In one exchange between the couple, Ummar Mirza wrote: “The day of nikkah [wedding], I’ll kill em all. Give me the list, the only thing that stops me is we are not married. I will defo, I’m not joking.”
Taheer responded: “Lool, u can’t have it til u put a ring on it.”

NFL meltdown: TV execs suggest cancelling 10 Thursday night broadcasts
By J.E. Dyer October 26, 2017
Network executives are scrambling to solve the growing problem of crashing ratings for the National Football League, by cutting games to end the perceived “over-saturation” of football on TV.
To put an end to the sliding ratings, the executives are proposing that fewer games may be the ticket to stop that “over-saturation,” with one idea being to cut Thursday Night Football by a whopping ten games.
The idea to trim Thursday Night Football from 18 games a season to only eight was first reported by Sports Business Journal and was part of a plan to reverse the ratings crash that also includes pulling games played in the U.K. back to 1 PM eastern time (6PM London time). …
Ratings are still down despite the small rise seen in Week 7. NBC Sports is off 21 percent from 2015, CBS Sports is down 14 percent compared to 2015, and ESPN’s Monday Night Football has sunk 17 percent over 2015.

Hmm: Soros-funded group goes after Hillary, DNC with FEC complaint about dossier contract
By J.E. Dyer October 26, 2017
The popcorn opportunities seem to be multiplying. Why did a legal activist group that typically goes after Republicans file an immediate – and I mean immediate – complaint with the Federal Election Commission about Hillary Clinton’s and the Democratic National Committee’s payments to the law firm that contracted with Fusion GPS for the “dodgy dossier”?
Is a major anti-Clinton move being made?
The particulars can be summarized briefly. On Tuesday, as we know, the Washington Post published its report on anonymously-sourced allegations that Hillary’s campaign and the DNC paid Fusion GPS to commission the dodgy dossier on Trump in 2016. The go-between was the law firm Perkins Coie, through which Hillary campaign counsel Marc Elias acted to make this oppo research project happen.

A Russian helicopter with eight people on board has crashed into the sea off Norway’s Arctic archipelago of Svalbard, officials have said.
The rescue service for northern Norway says the helicopter was en route to Barentsburg, Svalbard’s second largest settlement, from an abandoned Russian settlement known as Pyramiden.
Svalbard is more than 800km (500 miles) north of Norway’s mainland. It’s known for its stunning views of snow-covered mountains, fjords and glaciers.

The move is an attempt to promote Saudi Arabia as a place to develop artificial intelligence – and, presumably, allow it to become a full citizen. But many pointed out that those same rights aren’t afforded to many humans in the country.

As the story goes, in 2009 Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl abandoned his post in Afghanistan to allegedly report misconduct within his unit. However, he didn’t make it far.
Bergdahl was captured and held captive by a Taliban affiliate for nearly 5 years before the Obama administration conducted a prisoner swap. The trade: 5 dangerous Taliban terrorists from Guantanamo Bay for 1 deserter.
Originally he returned to duty, but upon investigation, he was charged with desertion and for endangering the safety of “a command, unit or place” and would face a possible life sentence.
Last week, Bergdahl entered a guilty plea in Military court.
Today we find out that there may be much more to this story.
