Brussels terror fears: Police open fire on car ‘with EXPLOSIVES inside’ in Molenbeek

POLICE shot at a car during a high-speed chase through a Brussels suburb after the driver claimed to have explosives inside.

Several police officers shot at the wheels of the car, reported to be a Citroen Picasso registered in Germany, before the driver was arrested.

 

Police spokesman Johan Berckmans told local media: “We pulled out the driver, who directly stated that there were explosives on board.”

The security alert took place in the suburb of Molenbeek this afternoon.
