Afghan forces rescue 2 abducted Pakistani diplomats (abcnews, Jul 26, 2017)

“Pakistan’s foreign ministry says Afghan forces have rescued two Pakistani diplomats who were abducted in Afghanistan last month.
The ministry says the two were “recovered in a security operation” on Wednesday and have been handed over to the Pakistani Embassy in Kabul, the Afghan capital.
The ministry’s statement says Afghan President Ashraf Ghani telephoned the Pakistani embassy to inform the staff about the rescue.
The two were posted at Pakistan’s Consulate in Jalalabad when they went missing on June 16 while they were traveling home to Pakistan.
The ministry says the two will return home to be reunited with their families as soon as possible.
It provided no details about the rescue operation or say who was holding the Pakistanis and where. The ministry thanked the Afghans for the rescue.”
Illegal Immigrant Torches Apartment Building
An illegal immigrant in North Carolina is accused of torching a Charlotte apartment building—leaving 130 people homeless.
Jesus Reyes Lopez, 20, was arrested on Thursday, after setting fire to a unit in the Woodscape Apartments. Apparently, Lopez started the fire as an act of revenge against his ex-girlfriend—but the fire quickly got out of control and consumed the building.
All in all, the fire Lopez set consumed and destroyed 40 apartments, and sent seven people to the hospital with various injuries.
Lopez has since been charged with arson and with attempted murder. But Lopez also faces deportation: according to U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement, Lopez is illegally in the country from Mexico.
Regardless of whether or not he’s convicted of the crime, the arrest alone will likely be enough to get Lopez sent back to Mexico.
Lopez is currently in jail, in lieu of a $1 million bail.

Conservatives Are On The Offensive, Plan To Investigate Comey, and Lynch
House conservatives will launch an effort to conduct an official House Judiciary Committee-led congressional investigation into former Attorney General Loretta Lynch and fired former FBI director James Comey, a notorious leaker, Breitbart News can confirm exclusively.
Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Mike Johnson (R-LA) and Jim Jordan (R-OH) have drafted an amendment that would compel government cooperation with a congressional probe into Lynch’s and Comey’s activities.
Specifically, the amendment—a draft of which was obtained by Breitbart News—would compel the production of documents and evidence regarding Lynch’s order to Comey to “mislead the American people by starting he should refer to the investigation into the mishandling of classified data and use of an unauthorized email server by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as a ‘matter,’ rather than a criminal ‘investigation.’”
The amendment specifically presses the Department of Justice to cooperate with the congressional investigation this would create, making it easier for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to probe these and the other matters laid out.

Trump Dossier Firm Are ‘Highly Paid Smear Experts,’ Human Rights Activist Will Tell Senate
A prominent human rights activist is providing the Senate Judiciary Committee with new information on Wednesday about Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm behind the dossier of anti-Trump research compiled last year by former British spy Christopher Steele.
Thor Halvorssen, the founder of the Human Rights Foundation, says in a letter to the committee that Fusion GPS targeted him and several other people because of their criticism of Derwick Associates, a Venezuelan energy company reportedly under investigation for an alleged multi-billion dollar kickback scheme.
Fusion GPS are “highly paid smear experts,” Halvorssen says in the testimony, a copy of which was obtained by The Daily Caller.

“A swimming pool in Austria has had to put up signs warning male migrants not to grope women or enter their changing room, in an effort to prevent sexual assaults from taking place.
The signs have been discovered posted in a swimming pool in Perchtoldsdorf, a town not far from Vienna.
One sign shows a picture of a young female in a bikini, with three hands appearing to try and grope her. The sign reads ‘NO!’ and next to it explains ‘physical contact with other guests is forbidden’ in English, French, and Arabic.
Another has a picture of a man about to enter a female changing room, with the words ‘STOP!’ written above it and ‘entry is forbidden in non-designated areas’ written beside it.
MP Christian Hoebart of the right wing populist Freedom Party of Austria [FPO] posted a picture of himself pointing at the signs in question on his Facebook page.
“Can this be true?” he asked. “Do you have to put something like this up in a civilised society? Or is it once again a submission to the mass migration of completely uneducated and culturally alien people?” he continued…”

Celebrities Melt Down over Trump’s Transgender Military Policy: ‘You Just Pissed Off the Wrong Community
Hollywood stars took to social media Wednesday to express outrage over President Donald Trump’s announcement that transgender people will not be allowed to serve in the U.S. military, reversing former President Obama’s decision last year allowing them to do so.
“After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military,” President Trump tweeted Wednesday morning. “Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical cost and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you.”

Richard: Once again the Hollywood left proves that their heads are empty, they think that real life is like their movies.
People who have never served don’t understand what military life is like, they are making assumptions about what will affect the military and how it will affect the military. Unit cohesion is the thing that is paramount in the military, and having people openly serving in the military that are different from what the base culture declares as normal is deadly to unit cohesion. I have known vets that are now openly gay and all of them say that having homosexuals openly serving destroys unit cohesion. Transgenders do the same, if you want both to serve openly you need to change the base culture and this requires changing middle America not just the people in Hollywood and other pop culture locals. President Trump understands this and the left is ignoring this, their arrogance is suce that they think they can force us to fit their mold instead of building on our culture.
Yesterday I posted a video about how the Chinese military is much weaker then people think, part of that reason is that so much of the Chinese military budget is spend on political indoctrination instead of on military equipment and training. Under Obama we started down that path with the sensitivity training that was required for all personal. This training was done on the budget that should have gone to combat training. The fact that we don’t allow people the base culture think have mental problems serve openly is one of the reasons our military is so much better then the rest of the militarys in the world. Don’t ever let your governments destroy your military forces by using them as social experimental labs, which way too many are, promotions are based more on achieving diversity in the military then in achieving the best combat force possible.

On June 3, Britain underwent its third Islamist terror assault in just ten weeks. Following on from a suicide bombing at Manchester Arena and a car- and knife-attack in Westminster, the London Bridge attacks seemed as if they might finally tip Britain into recognising the full reality of Islamist terror.
The attackers that night on London Bridge behaved as such attackers have before, in France, Germany and Israel. They used a van to ram into pedestrians, and then leapt from the vehicle and began to stab passers-by at random. Chasing across London Bridge and into the popular Borough Market, eye-witnesses recorded that the three men, as they slit the throats of Londoners and tourists, shouted “This is for Allah.”
A day later, British Prime Minister Theresa May made another appearance on the steps of Downing Street, to comment on the latest atrocity. In what appeared to have become a prime ministerial tradition, she stressed that the terrorists were following the “evil ideology of Islamist extremism”, which she described as “a perversion of Islam”. All this was no more than she had said after the Manchester and Westminster attacks, and almost exactly what her predecessor, David Cameron, had said from the same place after the slaughter of Drummer Lee Rigby on the streets of London in 2013, as well as after the countless ISIS executions and atrocities in Syria in the months that followed.

Google’s latest project is an application called Perspective, which, as Wired reports, brings the tech company “a step closer to its goal of helping to foster troll-free discussion online, and filtering out the abusive comments that silence vulnerable voices.” In other words, Google is teaching computers how to censor.
If Google’s plans are not quite Orwellian enough for you, the practical results are rather more frightening. Released in February, Perspective’s partners include the New York Times, the Guardian, Wikipedia and the Economist. Google, whose motto is “Do the Right Thing,” is aiming its bowdlerism at public comment sections on newspaper websites, but the potential is far broader.
Perspective works by identifying the “toxicity level” of comments published online. Google states that Perspective will enable companies to “sort comments more effectively, or allow readers to more easily find relevant information.” Perspective’s demonstration website currently allows anyone to measure the “toxicity” of a word or phrase, according to its algorithm. What, then, constitutes a “toxic” comment?
