Two reasons the Queen of England must carry on

First, she just knighted this guy:

Second, she insisted on driving the King of Saudi Arabia:

When Queen Elizabeth II showed the Saudi King Abdullah that women can drive – and that would make him anxious and scared.

King Abdullah of Saudiarabia is dead and the debate about his legacy burned. Was he a reformer or a custodian? One thing is for sure: against the Queen of England he drew the shortest, as evidenced by an incident from the year 1998.

At that time, the Saudi monarch, technically still crown prince, visited the English queen in her summer residency in the Scottish Balmoral. After lunch she suggested to show Abdullah the property. After initial hesitation, he agreed.

The royal land rovers drove ahead and the Arab took his seat on the passenger seat. What he did not know: Elizabeth II.

Women can not drive in Saudiarabia, and the Crown Prince had never been chauffeured by a woman in his life. Especially not from one who has learned their craft in the war.

That is a leader. And for all pour sakes may she outlive her dhimmi, hedonist son.

When she does pass, the only good thing about it will be that for those of us who go to any service for her that may take place around the world, we can rest easy knowing that at least we are somewhere Justin Trudeau is not.

  1. HEY! Donkeyman!
    Don’t you knock “Our Liz”!
    She’s your Queen too mate.
No-one I know in the UK wants to see prince “up-chuck” rule.
In fact , most folks, well the English ones, want Prince Harry to rule.
You know Harry, the apachie pilot in the afgan war?
    We want him.

  2. May she live a long long time and be succeeded by someone with her courage and brains.

I have heard that Wills wanted to go to Afghan so bad that he could taste it but she wouldn’t let him. Having said that Harry shows signs of being a very good King if he ever reaches the Throne.

    • Never heard that about William, but given the shitstorm over there at the time, (And the whole heir and a spare thing) it seems logical thy’d send Harry,
after training him up from driving tanks to flying helicoptors i guess.

      • There was some speculation that after the heir and the spare were born she would let him go but he stayed well away from the combat zones so I don’t know if it was him, his wife or Grandma who said no.

  3. Ya gotta give the Old Gel some serious credit. Back in 2012, when King Abdullah paid his first official visit to the British Court in 20 years, Her Majesty’s Guard heralded his arrival by playing The Imperial March (i.e., the Darth Vader theme). Quite the set of ovaries she’s got. What’s not to like?
