The joke that costs 1000 Euros

In keeping with the left’s totalitarian agenda, Germany has now fined a woman for telling a joke online which is critical or mocks the government’s immigration policy.

Breitbart has the story, but we have the joke.

According to Egri, these are language plays, which are pretty much proprietary for German, But we will explain them.

One of them can sort of make it to English in a slightly tortured way:

“Whats the best way to keep a refugee”. “Far away from us”

This is a variation on the Fiddler on the Roof joke which goes:

“Is there a prayer for the Tzar rabbi?”

“Yes! May the lord bless and keep the Tzar, FAR AWAY FROM US!”

The actual joke told by the woman who is now a thousand Euros lighter is:

“How to you hold the refugees?”

“At a distance”

In German, the word “hold” is also a posh way of saying your estimate or opinion of.

Another of the criminal jokes was:

(literally translated from German)

“Refugees – I’ll squeeze one eye shut.
Peter X., Sniper.”

The meaning of that works this way:

In German, to close one eye, or squeeze one eye shut, is equivalent to the English expression, “turn a blind eye (to it). So the joke works by using the closed eye ready position for a sniper, with turning a blind eye to, or by refugees. not sure how it works exactly.

Breitbart says this in part:

A 62-year-old German woman has been fined 1,350 euros by the government after she shared and liked an anti-migrant joke picture on her Facebook page.

The 62-year-old Berlin resident Jutta B. from Lichtenberg was arrested and had her home raided by police after she shared a picture on Facebook entitled, “Do you have anything against refugees?” For sharing the picture, which included disparaging comments about migrants, the woman was sentenced to a 1,350 euro fine, German newspaper Berliner Morgenpost reports.

 

 Since her arrest and subsequent fine, Facebook has banned Jutta’s account. In court, she claimed she had liked and shared the picture in question without fully reading the content. “I like to pass on funny things”, she told the court.

Unelected British PM, Theresa May, has already made it clear she plans to create mechanisms for the government to control the internet. Here is another indicator of the rational she plans to use to get people to accept the unacceptable.

Counter-terrorism officers secretly recorded an alleged Isil-inspired terror cell in Barking last month discussing how to use YouTube to plot a van and knife attack in London, The Daily Telegraph can reveal.

The investigators were monitoring the alleged extremist cell in the east London borough weeks before Saturday night’s attack in the capital,which left seven dead and 48 injured. The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Disagreeing with, or mocking government policy and being punished for it, in this case by a hefty fine and a form of social media ostracism, is unquestionably undemocratic. And most likely at gateway to real totalitarian policies.

Why?

Because only a nation with its foundations in truth can know freedom. The farther a founding principle is from truth, the more tyrannical that society must be to enforce it.

And you can put that on a T shirt.

We see more and more governments in the formerly free world using more and more severe methods of thought control and politicizing the justice system to enforce policy. They did it to Marine Le Pen, to Geert Wilders, and to increasing numbers of private citizens who merely expressed disagreement with a policy that is so clearly against the pubic interest as to be beyond dispute in rational terms, via social media.

The only way to fight this is to speak. Type. Spread the jokes and the opinions. Speak without fear what you know is true. Enough people are coming to understand the truth of Islam that once they see the courage of some of us ready to speak up for truth, reason and freedom, more will also and policies can return to the sane and we can protect our societies and our peoples.

  2. I think I will start passing jihad jokes to my German friends on faceberg. First I need to make a profile and then make some friends………..
    I wonder how those weak effeminate Germans will deal with an unreconstructed redneck from Georgia?

    • My guess is, governments have been working on ways to control who gets what information and without them knowing it. In fact I am certain of it. You will think your material will get to its audience, they wont get it, and you will make no further attempt to get it to them because you think they have it.

      They even have a name for this.

      Its called, “Grey listing”. Youtube, Facebook and Twitter do it all the time to try and make sure people like President Trump do not get support.

      This is not speculation, this is fact. Many first rate sources have confirmed that Twitter and other popular social media restrict how people’s comments and links travel, making sure the “correct” ones do very well and the “incorrect” ones are choked.

      • The Conservative TreeHouse is a massive operation, with 1000s of users and a social media multiplier that’s exponential on certain topics. An astonishing Basket of Deplorables, a force with which to be reckoned.

        It’s almost as “homeschool- friendly” as GoV, though unwieldy and lacking Dymphna, it is policed by regulars and staff just beneath the radar. It’s also “triggered” by keyword combinations, I think, because I’ve gotten reposts from here and GoV rejected till I reword the comment.

        Yet they report constant interference from TwitterFace, both direct blocks and “Grey Listing”. The latter is far more sinister.

        They’ve posted screenshots with warnings saying, in effect, “Are you sure you want to see this unsuitable thing?” Puts you on notice that it strays from the narrative, that your click might be used against you [in a sharia-compliant court].

  4. When the two Germany’s reunited my late father said that allowing this was a mistake because in 20 years we would have to kick their a– again, looks like he was wrong on the timing.

  5. Germany started and lost two world wars !! Germany is trying to start the Third World War !! How is it that a country can start the Second World War, kill millions of people and then become the financial powerhouse of Europe?? Germany you have learned nothing !’ But then neither has the rest of the free world. If Germany is successful in this tiranny and starts WW3 in Europe it is my hope that when they are defeated they are completely destroyed !!

    • Germany isn’t starting WWIII it is the Muslim Brotherhood that is doing that, granted Merkel and other European politicians are helping the the main blame is on the Brotherhood. I will also say that if the MB wasn’t doing this Merkel and the EU bureaucrats would have a better chance of taking over Europe. Of course if it hadn’t been for the 9/11 attack the EU would have collapsed because the Euro was setting at about 75 cents US to the Euro and falling fast.

  7. Background of this joke is the Mayor of Cologne’s advice to women who suffered massive sexual violence from moslems on new year eve 2015/16: hold (keep) an arm distance from them (which is a fact not a joke)
