7 Replies to “Douglas Murray on the Manchester attack”
Harris Farooqi, who was once accused of terrorist activities, says being racist is as bad as being a terrorist.
(Video mentions PREVENT -he says is confuses extremism with religious devotion)
While I´m at it…saw this little tidbit:
Manchester bomber Salman Abedi’s childhood friend ‘revealed as gang rapist’ who lured girl, 16, into hotel room before he and pals took it in turns to rape her.
I work in a office in the public sector, about 7 blokes. Hardly any comment on the Manchester attack, “just a shame about Manchester isn’t it.” A few under the breath, mutters of accent, that’s it.
I turn around and raise my eyebrows, but everyone’s working again, amazing.
Whenever I mention a Muslim country, I call it “The so called Muslim country of ….”, while detailing it’s human rights abuses.
They don’t seem to like it, it’s a good way to needle them.
You’ve got more courage than the lot of them.
How many secretly agree with you?
Ran across this quote yesterday while watching the recent production of “Atlas Shrugged”:
It evokes this passage from Serge Trifkovic’s outstanding essay, “Can the West be Saved?“:
The elite class, rootless, arrogant, cynically manipulative, has every intention of continuing to “fight” the war on terrorism without naming the enemy, without revealing his beliefs, without unmasking his intentions, without offending his accomplices, without expelling his fifth columnists, and without ever daring to win.
It is up to the millions of normal Europeans and their American cousins to stop the madness. The traitor class wants them to share its death wish, to self-annihilate as people with a historical memory and a cultural identity, and to make room for the post-human, monistic Utopia spearheaded by the jihadist fifth column.
This crime can and must be stopped. The founders of the United States overthrew the colonial government for offenses far lighter than those of which the traitor class is guilty.
Just re-read the Trifkovic.
Yep, I read it in 2008. I’m less optimistic now. The global elites have hardened, become even more nakedly ugly. We elected P-45, but there’s this swamp…

Thank you so much, yucki. There are few other works that so precisely encapsulate what faces the West. Bless you.
