  2. I continue to maintain that how Russia and China react to Islamic terrorism will be quite instructive for the West. Both nations are playing the “long game”, and will calibrate their responses accordingly. Western nations are relatively young (especially compared to Chinese culture) and accustomed to regular, peaceful handovers of power that simply do not exist throughout much of the outside world. As a consequence, subtle destabilization or challenges rarely are seen as outright threats to political order and the rule of law.

    When taken in combination with Islam’s cruel strategy of weaponizing both material (e.g., planes and vehicles) and legal apparatus, too many people are helpless when it comes to restructuring law enforcement—along with military doctrine as well—in ways that can combat such an insidious threat. Additionally, there are the Liberal termites that keep on insisting that adopting even the most mild jihadist tactics constitutes a “win for the terrorists”.

    Of course, no mention is ever made of how inaction represents one of the biggest wins for the terrorists. Perish the thought that Leftists might project that far down the road. Instead, we are treated to the spectacle of Feminists and homosexuals shilling for Islam whilst screaming bloody murder about a resurgence of American patriotism.

    It is only a matter of time until these two (or three) groups are lumped in with the enemies of civilization and treated accordingly.
