Given the restrictions the French police are working under they never had control. They seem to be operating under the idea of let the rioters run wild and tire themselves out before you try and do anything, that is a recipe for disaster since it tell the rioters they are the ones setting the pace and that the police will not do anything.
Flabby feebles. They should’ve banished the enemy tools [leftist media/ Soros-NGOs] from the Jungle at Calais, then leveled it. Instead it became a magnet and an emblem. Went on for months and years.
