I have always thought that the time would come when all but the most die-hard Marxists would actually abandoned their alliance with the radical Muslims. I grew up with a lot of intellectual leftists and they really weren’t evil people – anything but. I just can’t see those people I grew up with really being for a religion that punishes women with stoning for the crime of being raped as it says that, “a wife is as a field for him to tilth”, and therefore there can be no such thing as rape in a marriage. The thing is that the average leftist is generally a real know-nothing because they get their information from sources that always leave one whole half of the story out. They may read James Joyce and know the difference between Manet and Monet, but they don’t know zip about the world…
Mainly, I think, most leftists are just ordinary people trying to put food on the table, so they have chosen to go along to get along and not question the leftist dogma that feeds them. Like, what would your chances of getting tenure at a university be if they saw you in a “maga” hat, or if you failed to laugh at a George-Bush-is-so-stupid joke? They’ve all seen what happens to dissidents and they don’t want to be that guy. But now, things have changed… Time to drain the swamp…
Most aren’t evil but the leaders are. Yes as the facts become known more and more of the supporters of the left will fall by the wayside because of their disgust with the actions of the people they choose to ally themselves with.
