  2. Russia ‘stoking refugee unrest in Germany to topple Angela Merkel’

Analysts at Nato centre claim to have found evidence of ‘information war’ over migration crisis with links to Vladimir Putin

Russia is trying to topple Angela Merkel by waging an information war designed to stir up anger in Germany over refugees, Nato’s most senior expert on strategic communications has claimed.

The attempt to provoke the removal of the German leader, who has been a strong supporter of sanctions against Vladimir Putin’s regime, is said to have been identified by Nato analysts.

J?nis S?rts, director of Nato’s Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence, based in Riga, Latvia, told the Observer that Russia had a track record of funding extremist forces in Europe, and that he believed there was now evidence of Russia agitating in Germany against Merkel.

Insisting that he could talk only as an expert, and not as a spokesman for Nato, S?rts said: “[Russia] is establishing a network that can be controlled. You can use it as they have tried to do in Germany, combined with the legitimate issue of refugees, to undercut political processes in a very serious way. Angela Merkel has been a very adamant supporter of continued sanctions against Russia If it was just punishment, that would be OK – but it is testing whether they can build on pre-existing problems and create a momentum where there is political change in Germany.

    • Desperation time, we had that stupid NATO general say it was Russia and Syria who was behind the immigration wave talking about indiscriminate bombing after the arrival of the refugees, then this article from the worst paper in the UK. The contempt they have for the people is sickening, yet they expose themselves in their desperation to spin the story their way..

Was it Russia who invited all these people to Germany, is it Russia who tells the German media and the police to keep quiet on immigrant crime, is it Russia asking Facebook to stop people from talking about it. My word Russia has a bloody long arm indeed, to be able to control Merkel so well.

Anyone with a brain knows that this is the Al Queda/ISIS plan for civil war in Europe that is behind this, 2016 is when it starts, they expect victory in 2020. It is ISIS, because ISIS came from Al Queda, something else that our leaders seem to obscure.

The Muslim Brotherhood is the political wing of Al Queda, Obama is allied to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Because of Obama;s links to the Muslim Brotherhood people like me are now drifting towards the Russians, and yet it is Russia doing that, talk about stupid.

The most open TV in the West now is RT, I get to see so much more real information from RT now then I ever do in Western Media, yes I know taht it is pushing Russians viewpoint, but let me put it so bluntly, the Western viewpoint is suicide for its people, I have a choice, Russia or death, I take Russia because those cretins have given me no other choice…

    • Well, he is right in stating that the Russia is agitating in Germany against EU, it is agitating not only in Germany, but also in France and in the UK. Russia established close links with France’s Front National **. It is in Russia interest to weaken EU. On the other hand presently Russia do not need to agitate in Germany against Merkel, Merkel own political stance is enough to make people decide that they want no longer to support her policies. Also Guardian statement that Merkel supported continued sanctions against Russia is a, sorry for expression, rubbish. Merkel supports sanctions when it is good for German economy, Merkel circumvents the sanctions when the sanctions are bad for Germany’s economy.
I also wanted to make another comment, the Russian propaganda is not only directed against EU, it is directed against US and the mood of many people in Europe is very much against USA and policies of USA. I rpt, against polices of USA, NOT the policies of Obama but against policies of USA as a country..

      • Kathy, you have to understand that part of the issue is the blanket attempt by the USA since the second world war to attack any signs of nationalism in Europe. Nationalism caused the first world war, and it was the nationalism at the end of that war with the enforced penalties that caused the second world war.

Yes Russia is taking advantage, but the EU is a anti-democratic mess that is destroying Europe, it does not matter if it is in the interest of Russia, it is in the interest of free people of Europe for the EU to die and if Russia helps in that then I will be grateful.

As for the USA, I love the American people, however their leaders have betrayed them almost as much as the ones in Europe have betrayed us and US policies in Europe have also betrayed us. Obama and his administration is as big an enemy against free people as the EU is.

I will address your comments about the Front National as I live in France, the French banks refused to lend to the FN due to political pressure by the PS and others, forcing the FN to get a loan elsewhere, that is the cause and the affect is closer ties with Russia, but at a political level the FN sees Russia as having the right policy against the Sunni’s. Russia are allies of the Shia, but for the moment they are less dangerous to us in Europe even with their nuclear technology.

I will also remind you that even Francois Hollande has developed his links with Putin.

If our leaders policies were not so appallingly bad this sympathy to Russia would not be in the minds of people like me, simple as.

      • Kathy Daffers has it right, the EU was set up to create a super state in Europe, the supposed reason was to create an economic power that would rival the US. The actual reason was to create a socialist dictatorship that could spread around the world.

In the 20th Century nationalism caused WWI like Daffers said, and in the aftermath the Western European nations decided to punish Germany because Germany had started to compete with the French, Beligums and Brits for being the top colonial power. Hitler and others used this punishment to seize power in Germany. The Nazi’s stated goal was to create a Marxism that worked. They didn’t do this but it did work better then straight Marxism, this is why the leftist governments in the west are using Nazi policies in their effort of creating a socialist utopia.

You said Putin wants to weaken the EU but the EU is already weak, the socialist policies of Europe and the US have created the perfect storm of economic woes to cause a massive recession that will probably turn into a depression. The EU military capabilities are practically non existent and Obama has reduced the size of the US military to below what we had at the beginning of WWII.

Now for the part that most people refuse to learn from history, nations always build their military forces to fight the last war, The last major war that the media will talk about is Nam so we are set up to fight low intensity war with a smattering of equipment to fight a major land war. The latter showed that they were necessary when we went into the middle east so or course Obama has reduced the size of conventional forces and has cut funding for special operations to the point where the spec ops units are forced to buy their own equipment and there are reports on FOX News that the SEALS don’t have enough working rifles to equip all seals with one.
Now we come to the part about nationalism, after WWI and II the pseudo intellectuals decided that they had to destroy the idea of nationalism. The left loved this idea and started pushing it since they have been preaching internationalism from the beginnings. This is partially why so many Western European politicians support the invaders, after all to do otherwise would be to be nationalist which in their minds is evil. What is rapidly becoming obvious is that nationalism is want will safe Europe and drive the invaders back to their homelands. Europe borders on Russia and while Putin wants Russia to control Eastern Europe he knows this is unlikely, thus he wants Europe to be able to drive the Islamic invaders our of Europe. This means the EU must go.

Remember all wars sow the seeds of the next war, the punishment of Germany after WWI set the course that lead to WWII. The attacks on nationalism are one of the things that has lead to the Islamic invasion, another is the attacks on Christianity.

      • If you say it, it is. If they do about us, its religious freedom. If you point out that this means that their religion includes the desire that non-believers should be killed, you are guilty of a hate crime.

The system actually is senile and needs to go. The question should be not about saving it, but about what and how do we build in its place.

        • That is probably coming, this war is going to get real bloody in all nations on earth, this will wake people up to the true nature of Islam and we will change t he system. The question is will we throw the baby out with th4e bath water?

  3. China warns Hong Kong not to politicize issues

BEIJING (Reuters) – China’s third-ranked Communist Party leader Zhang Dejiang said Hong Kong shouldn’t “politicize everything” and should instead focus on integrating its economy with China’s, according to members of China’s parliament who met with him on Sunday.

A day after Premier Li Keqiang pledged greater economic support for Hong Kong at the opening of annual parliamentary sessions in Beijing, Zhang said that while a recent riot in Hong Kong was a concern, it was one the city’s government could handle.

“He (Zhang) said one needed to take a broader perspective to look at it, and to not politicize everything,” said Rita Fan, a standing committee member of China’s parliament chaired by Zhang.

Chinese media has blamed the riot in early February on “radical separatists” seeking to destabilize Hong Kong.

Other delegates who met with Zhang said that while Zhang didn’t single out anyone for blame, there remained concern among Beijing’s top leaders towards an embittered cluster of youth groups in Hong Kong using increasingly radical or violent means to demand greater autonomy.

China maintains Hong Kong is an inseparable part of China and as such resolutely opposes any moves towards independence.

    • German minister calls Trump a threat, Merkel lauds Clinton

BERLIN (Reuters) – German Economy Minister Sigmar Gabriel has branded leading U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump a threat to peace and prosperity while Chancellor Angela Merkel said it had always been a pleasure to work with Democrat Hillary Clinton.

The comments by Gabriel, Germany’s vice chancellor and leader of the Social Democrats, are the clearest sign yet that ruling politicians in Europe are increasingly worried about the outcome of the U.S. presidential elections.

“Whether Donald Trump, Marine le Pen or Geert Wilders – all these right-wing populists are not only a threat to peace and social cohesion, but also to economic development,” Gabriel told Welt am Sonntag newspaper in an interview published on Sunday.

Gabriel said that Trump and French National Front leader Le Pen were promising voters “a way back into a fairytale world” in which economic activity only happened within national borders but that history had shown such isolated economies had no prospect.

“We have to make the effort to explain how we want to shape globalization in a fair way,” Gabriel said.

Politicians in Germany and elsewhere in Europe have watched nervously as businessman and reality TV star Trump has moved from long shot to front-runner of the Republicans seeking the party’s nomination ahead of the Nov. 8 presidential election.

Trump has described Merkel’s welcoming policy towards refugees as “insane” and predicted it would cause rioting in Germany.

He has also praised Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has been at odds with Europe since Moscow’s annexation of Ukraine’s Crimea region two years ago.

Merkel told Bild am Sonntag newspaper in an interview she did not know Trump personally. When asked about his attacks against her refugee policy, the chancellor said: “I don’t see any reason why I should reply to him.”

At the same time, Merkel said of Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton: “I value her long political experience, her commitment for women’s rights, family issues and health care.

“I value her strategic thinking and that she is a strong supporter of the transatlantic partnership. Whenever I had the chance to work together with Hillary Clinton, it was a great pleasure.”

Germany does not face a federal election until next year. But a new anti-immigrant party, the Alternative for Germany (AfD), has emerged as a threat to Merkel’s conservatives. The AfD wants Germany to shut its border to migrants and use force to repel them if necessary.

  4. Finland’s Immigration Crisis

Finland — an open country that prides itself on respecting different ways of life, cultures and religions — is being greatly tested by the wave of Middle Eastern asylum seekers.

Finland is a homogenous country that has roughly 5.5 million inhabitants, about 4% of which are foreign[1]. Twenty years ago, thousands of Somalis immigrated to Finland. In the last decade or so, more international students came to study, and more foreigners came to live and work.

Finnish universities and the academia are of a high level, and most Finns speak some English. But it is not easy for foreigners to find jobs. The barrier is the language: Finnish, like Hungarian, is a part of the Finno-Ugric languages, and difficult to learn.

How many asylum seekers from Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan arrived in Finland in 2015? The figures keep changing. Authorities estimate between 30,000 and 50,000 — significant numbers in terms of the ratio of migrants to the native population.

  5. Western nations have unilaterally agreed to commit mass suicide – like the Gardarene Swine in the Bible. It sounds strange, but the Nationalists are the only ones making sense today.

    • We are living in a time when the world changes direction, a decade from now the world will be different and peoples attitudes about what is good and bad politically will have changed, and will change very quickly.

    • Cameron Deploys U.K. Ships to NATO’s Migrant Operation in Aegean

David Cameron announced a new U.K. naval deployment to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s operation against refugee trafficking from Turkish shores, as he called on European Union leaders to redouble their efforts against the gangs responsible.

“We’ve got to break the business model of the criminal smugglers and stop the desperate flow of people crammed into makeshift vessels from embarking on a fruitless and perilous journey,” the British prime minister said before attending an EU summit in Brussels on the matter. “That’s why this NATO mission is so important.”

Britain will send a naval ship, a helicopter and two other smaller vessels to aid the NATO operation in the Aegean Sea that already includes German, Canadian, Turkish and Greek boats. The mission’s purpose is to identify refugee traffickers and relay the information to the Turkish coastguard.

“It’s an opportunity to stop the smugglers and send out a clear message to migrants contemplating journeys to Europe that they will be turned back,” Cameron said in a statement released by his office in London. “That’s why the U.K. is providing vital military assets to work with our European partners and support this mission.”

On Saturday, the rebel group “Faylaq Al-Sham” released a video showing the defection of several fighters from the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) to their forces in the Aleppo Governorate’s northern countryside.

In the video, ISIS fighters can be seen showing their identification cards before announcing their defection to Faylaq Al-Sham.

This is one of the first defections from ISIS to a rebel force that has been caught on video.

  7. Migrant crisis: At least 18 dead as boat sinks (BBC, Mar 6, 2016)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-35739555

“A boat carrying migrants from Turkey to Greece has sunk, killing at least 18 people, Turkey’s state news says.

The boat capsized near the Turkish resort of Didim, the Anadolu Agency reported.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) says at least 321 migrants drowned trying to get to Greece between 1 January and 3 March.

Macedonia has set new restrictions on migrants coming from Greece, which may worsen the bottleneck on the border.

In another development, Nato Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced that alliance ships would be deployed to Turkish and Greek territorial waters in the battle to defeat people smugglers…”

    • I remember when the left let North Vietnam conquer the South, over a million people drowned trying to get away, I don’t remember the world getting this upset.

  8. Iran billionaire Babak Zanjani sentenced to death (BBC, Mar 6, 2016)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-35739377

“Billionaire Iranian businessman Babak Zanjani has been sentenced to death for corruption, justice officials say.

He was arrested in December 2013 after accusations that he withheld billions in oil revenue channelled through his companies. He denies the allegations.

Zanjani, 42, was convicted of fraud and economic crimes, a judiciary spokesperson said at a press briefing.

One of Iran’s richest men, Zanjani was blacklisted by the US and EU for helping Iran evade oil sanctions.

Two others were sentenced to death along with him and all were ordered to repay embezzled funds. The ruling can be appealed.

In a separate development, a cargo of Iranian crude oil arrived at a Spanish refinery in San Roque on Sunday, the first delivery to an EU state since sanctions were lifted.

The Monte Toledo offloaded 1m barrels at the refinery belonging to Spanish oil company Cepsa.

Before the oil embargo imposed by the EU in 2012, one in every five barrels of crude Iran exported was sold to refineries in Europe…”

    • Hmm, in Iran everybody is more or less corrupt. I think he probably supported somebody who was threat to someone in military or in theocratic government. The Iran political life is quite complicated, it is really byzantine if one may say so about Muslim political life.

      • I like the way you think, you are becoming a good analyst much better then the ones on the MSM.

  9. Zaman newspaper: Seized Turkish daily ‘now pro-government’ (BBC, Mar 6, 2016)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-35739547

“Turkey’s biggest newspaper, Zaman, has published an edition carrying pro-government articles, two days after being taken over by authorities.

On Friday, a court ruled that Zaman, previously linked to an opponent of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, should now be run by administrators.

Its last edition under old ownership on Saturday said Turkey’s press had seen one of its “darkest days”.

Meanwhile, a newspaper set up by former Zaman staff was launched on Sunday.

Police raided Zaman’s Istanbul offices late on Friday hours after a court ruling placed it under state control, but managers were still able to get Saturday’s edition to print.

No reason was given by the court for the decision.

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said the takeover was “legal, not political”.

“It is out of the question for either me or any of my colleagues to interfere in this process,” he said in a television interview.

Water cannon and tear gas were used against some 500 Zaman supporters gathered in front of its headquarters on Saturday…”

  10. Egypt: Hamas linked to killing of prosecutor Hisham Barakat (BBC, Mar 6, 2016)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-35740260

“Egypt has accused Palestinian Islamist group Hamas of involvement in the killing of Egypt’s public prosecutor.

Hisham Barakat died in hospital after a bomb attack on his car in the Cairo suburb of Heliopolis in March 2015.

The plot was “carried out on the orders of the Muslim Brotherhood in close coordination with Hamas”, Egypt’s interior minister said on Sunday.

Mr Barakat had sent thousands of Islamists for trial since the overthrow of President Mohammed Morsi in 2013.

Hamas has accused Egypt of collaborating with Israel to try to further isolate Gaza amid tension over Egypt’s closures of the Rafah border crossing and its destruction of tunnels between Gaza and Egypt.

“This plot was carried out on the orders of the Muslim Brotherhood… in close coordination with Hamas, which played a very important role in the assassination of the chief prosecutor from start to finish,” Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar told reporters.

He said Hamas had provided explosives and training in Gaza.

On Saturday six people were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the assassination.

Mr Barakat was the most senior state official murdered since the 2013 overthrow of President Mohammed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Hundreds of Islamists have been sentenced to death or life imprisonment, as part of a crackdown on supporters of the banned group…”

“A suicide bomber rammed his explosives-laden fuel truck into a security checkpoint south of Baghdad on Sunday, killing at least 47 people and wounding dozens, officials said.

It was the third massive bombing in and around Baghdad in a little over a week, and although there was no immediate claim of responsibility, it appeared to be part of a campaign by the Islamic State group to stage attacks deep behind front lines in order to wreak havoc and force the government to overextend its forces.

Crowds gathered at the scene, picking through rubble and twisted car parts in search of survivors. Smoke rose from smoldering cars that had been lined up at the main checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Hillah, located about 95 kilometers (60 miles) south of Baghdad…”

“Salé – The criminal court in charge of terrorism affairs at the annexe of Salé’s appellate court on Friday gave verdicts ranging from two to three years in prison against seven Syrian nationals sued in terrorism cases.

Four convicts were sentenced to three years, and the other three were given two years in prison.

The convicts were sued for “forming a criminal gang to prepare and commit criminal acts, possession of weapons within the framework of a collective plot to seriously undermine public order”, “glorifying terrorist acts”, “falsifying or participating in the falsification of administrative documents, and entering the national territory illegally”.”

  14. Surge of 100,000 migrants building in Greece (thelocal, Mar 6, 2016)
    http://www.thelocal.at/20160306/surge-of-migrants-building-in-greece

“Greece is likely to receive another 100,000 migrants by the end of the month, Europe’s migration commissioner warned on Saturday, two days ahead of an EU-Turkey summit seen as the only viable solution to the crisis.

As EU members continued to bicker, Dimitris Avramopoulos, in charge of migration at the powerful Brussels executive, pointed to upcoming measures, including an overhaul of asylum rules, to help ease tensions.

“Hundreds are arriving on a daily basis and Greece is expected to receive another 100,000 by the end of the month,” Avramopoulos told a conference in Athens.

Greece lies at the heart of Europe’s greatest migration crisis in six decades after a series of border restrictions on the migrant trail from Austria to Macedonia caused a bottleneck on its soil.

Over 30,000 refugees and migrants are now trapped in the country, desperate to head northwards, especially to Germany and Scandinavia.

“In a few weeks,” the EU will announce a revision of its asylum regulations to ensure a “fairer distribution of the burden and the responsibility,” Avramopoulous told the conference….”

  15. Sweden sees surge in ‘missing’ asylum-seekers (thelocal, Mar 6, 2016)
    http://www.thelocal.se/20160306/sweden-sees-a-surge-in-missing-asylum-seekers

“Sweden’s migration agency expects a surge in the number of asylum-seekers going underground in the next three years, estimating the number at as many as 46,000.

“It’s going to be a substantial increase,” national border police commander Per Löwenborg was quoted as telling Swedish daily Svenska Dagbladet.

In its latest budget proposal, the Swedish Migration Agency estimates that 46,000 people will “disappear”, or go underground, by 2019 after having their asylum applications rejected.

In 2015, more than 7,330 people went missing in Sweden after being denied asylum.

Although many of those who are denied asylum will leave Sweden, Lövenborg said a great number will still stay and live as undocumented refugees.

“It’s a huge amount of people that will disappear. It’s problematic. We [only] find between 10 to 20 percent of them,” Löwenborg said.

“We’re not very successful today. It’s not something we prioritise. We’re putting more efforts into it now, but the demands are growing a lot more,” he said, referring to the challenges of tracking people down.

The Swedish Trade Union Center for Undocumented Migrants estimates that Sweden is currently home to between 30,000 and 50,000 undocumented migrants.

Sten-Erik Johansson, a union official, is convinced that the majority of those who have their asylum applications turned down will stay in Sweden.

“What do they have to return to? Even those who will face a very poor life [here], because the alternatives they have aren’t that much here,” he said, warning of the effects of such a surge.

“I think there will be horrific consequences,” he said. “They know that they have to live outside the rules of society.”

Sweden, like the rest of Europe, has been struggling with the continent’s biggest migration crisis since World War II.

A country of 9.8 million, Sweden took in more than 160,000 asylum-seekers in 2015, putting it among the EU states with the highest proportion of refugees per capita.

It has since tightened its asylum rules to curb the migrant flow.”

“Egypt and France began Sunday joint manoeuvres in the Mediterranean in which French Rafale warplanes purchased by Cairo last year are taking part, the Egyptian army said.

The “Ramses 2016” military and naval exercise is being held off the coast of the Mediterranean city of Alexandria and are expected to last for several days, the army said on its Facebook page.

Paris announced the manoeuvres Tuesday saying the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, which is being used to launch air strikes on the Islamic State group in Syria and Iraq, would also take part.

The drill is aimed at “sharing our expertise with the Egyptian military… one of our main Middle East partners,” the French defence ministry said at the time.

The Egyptian army said a French multi-mission frigate purchased by Cairo last year would also take part in the drill along with Rafale combat jets and F-16 warplanes…”

  17. Egyptian policeman sentenced to death for killing three cousins over ‘sorcery’ (ahram, Mar 6, 2016)
    http://english.ahram.org.eg/NewsContent/1/64/190308/Egypt/Politics-/Egyptian-policeman-sentenced-to-death-for-killing-.aspx

“A Zagazig criminal court sentenced on Sunday a low-ranking policeman to death for killing his three cousins, whom he said had cast a “spell” on him, state news agency MENA reported on Sunday.
The events of the case date back to September 2012, when the culprit shot and killed his cousins – all brothers – outside a mosque where they were praying.

During questioning by the prosecution, the policeman said that he had “family disputes” with his cousins.

He added that what ultimately made him decide to kill them was that some of his fellow villagers told him that the three brothers were performing “sorcery” that made him chronically ill.”

“ISLAMABAD: Leaders of religious parties raised fears on Saturday over the possibility of the government repealing the blasphemy law in the future. They also warned that any such move would be opposed tooth and nail by all religious groupings in the country.

“We (religious parties) will protect the law at every cost,” JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said.

Speaking to the media after hosting a consultative meeting of all major religious parties following the execution of Mumtaz Qadri and the passage of Punjab Protection of Women against Violence Act (PPWVA) from the Punjab Assembly, the JUI-F chief said: “It seems that efforts are afoot to … abolish the blasphemy law in the country.”

“Those who believe that they would be successful in abolishing the blasphemy law are living in a fool’s paradise,” said Fazl, who vowed to continue to protect the law at every cost. He disclosed that after Saturday’s confab religious parties had agreed to block any such move against the blasphemy law, or any infringement of Islamic values by the government….”

“The anti-government armed militants suffered heavy casualties after staging an offensive on Afghan security posts in Sangin and Marjah districts of Helmand province.

The Ministry of Defense (MoD), said at least 52 militants were killed 45 others were wounded after the security forces responded to the offensive with close-air support by Afghan Air Force and coalition forces.

At least soldiers serving with the 215th Corps of the Afghan National Army (ANA) forces were wounded in the attack, MoD added.

The anti-government armed militant groups including the Taliban insurgents have not commented regarding the report so far.

Helmand is among the most volatile provinces in southern Afghanistan where anti-government armed militants are actively operating and frequently carry out insurgency activities.

The growing violence in Helmand forced the Afghan forces to tactically retreat from certain security posts during recent days.”

  22. New documentary unveils recruitment of children for dance, sex in Afghanistan (khaama, Mar 6, 2016)
    http://www.khaama.com/new-documentary-unveils-recruitment-of-children-for-dance-in-afghanistan-0261

“A new documentary has been released regarding the sexual abuse of teenage boys in Afghanistan amid concerns that the social stigma is on the rise despite efforts to curb the activities, normally involving influential people.

The new documentary by Russian TV unveils the miseries that force the children to hand over themselves to the influential individuals who are then using them in sexual abuse (Bacha Baazi).

With poverty remaining one of the key issues of the majority of the Afghan people, but the most distressing finding by the documentary is the cost of the wedding the victims receive from their owners after they reach the age adolescence, an unnecessary expenditure of thousands of dollars by the families of the grooms.

Despite the government’s efforts to limit the expenses of the weddings in the country, the unpleasant custom of big weddings continue, with most expenditures made in purchase of gold, rent of luxury hotels, and invitation of hundreds of people to the parties.

The teenage boys are normally dressed as women and are taken to parties for dancing. “I was a field commander for 20 years,” Japar, an influential individual keeping the teenage boys for Bacha Baazi told RT.

Japar further added “In the past, I worked for the government, but now, I’m retired. Everyone has their own interest, some people like boys more than girls. That’s their culture, from long ago in Afghanistan. They’re interested in boys.”

According to Japar, the boys should be about 12, 13, or 15 years old to be recuited as a Bacha – a term usually used to call the children recruited for dancing and other sexual abuse.

He said the business owners “support” their boys until their “sell-by-date” expires, at about 25. “When a boy is older, we make their life better. We buy the bacha clothes, pay for their wedding when they’re no longer wanted. We feed them well, we prepare all their food for them. We do everything!” he says in all honesty.”

The 17-year-old Muhammad who has been a bacha dancer for about five years said “I want to become self-reliant, to afford to pay my way, not have to look at someone else’s pockets, to earn money of my own, so no one can say, ‘he hasn’t got any money’. I went through so many hard days, in a really bad financial situation. After that I want a bright future, and I want to continue with my education, as well.”

The documentary also reveals the sexual abuse the young children are subjected to, including painful sexual offense at the hands of their owners. “At first, I didn’t know much about it, I thought it was just a game,” he told RT, adding that “sex can hurt badly too, but money is important,” said one of the boys who was first offered to become a bach in the age of 12.”

“ONLINE activists taking on Islamic State in a war waged on the web have said Twitter is BANNING them – and not the jihadis – under ‘anti-harassment’ rules.

The social media site has come under fire from the hacktivists who recently told Express Online they are shutting down thousands of ISIS accounts every month.

While Twitter says it is making strong efforts to shut down terrorist accounts, said they do not see this happening, but they have been targeted themselves.

As quickly as ISIS sets up accounts and spreads propaganda, hackers from groups like Anonymous and Ctrl Sec are taking them down in their own online campaign #OpISIS.

The group updates followers, linking to the accounts they have spotted, while calling on other to join them and report Jihadi profiles.

But they have said the social media site is shutting them down.

  25. ‘Cultural differences’ led to migrant sexually assaulting child at UK train station (express, Mar 6, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/650257/Cultural-differences-somalian-migrant-sexually-assaulting-child-UK-train-station

“A SOMALIAN migrant brought through the courts for molesting a child at a train station doesn’t think he did anything wrong due to ‘cultural differences’, a court heard.

Ali Abdullahi, 34, tried to kiss a 15-year-old girl on a station platform, lunged at a female passenger on a train journey and made an approach at another woman.

But despite pleading guilty to the attacks, the security guard, who came to Britain in 2011, still has trouble admitting he did anything wrong, the court heard.

He told police he came from a conservative culture and doesn’t grasp the sexual boundary between men and women in the UK.

But his mitigation was rejected by a judge on Friday who said the offences could not be put down to cultural differences and were simply sexually motivated.

Abdullahi was given a community order and told to attend a sex offender course to improve his conduct with women following the offences in December 2013.

Exeter Crown Court heard Abdullahi approached a 15-year-old girl at Torquay train station, Devon, and “behaved completely inappropriately”.

Judge Graham Cottle said: “She was probably very frightened.

“Later that day you approached another slightly older victim who got on the train travelling towards Bristol Temple Meads.

“You behaved completely inappropriately towards her.

“The sex offending was not of the most serious kind but would have been extremely frightening to both girls.”

Abdullahi then approached a third woman, a student, at the station in Bristol. She made no complaint of physical contact but had been left worried by his conversation.

Adrian Chaplin, mitigating, said Abdullahi comes from Somalia but came to Britain via Kenya in 2011, and has a wife who is currently living in Ethiopia.

At the time of the offences he had been tired after a day at work and felt frustrated as he was trying to “establish a rapport” with the females, Mr Chaplin said.

He added: “There is work to be done in terms of him being frank with himself and understanding the different levels of acceptable conduct.

“He comes from a conservative culture in Somalia and misunderstands the extent to which ordinary polite engagement and interaction should or should not be seen as a precursor towards seeking to be physically close to someone.

“It is not the first case of people coming to this country and society and feeling a combination of freedom but not entirely properly understanding boundaries which can lead to a misunderstanding.”

Judge Cottle said if he sent the defendant, of St Pauls, Bristol, to prison, the sentence would be short and he would come out an untreated sex offender.

The Thames Valley Sex Offenders Treatment Programme was a demanding course, he said, and would be part of a three-year community order with supervision.”

  26. France to hire FERRIES to send Calais migrants to Britain within HOURS of EU Out vote (express, Mar 6, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/650120/France-ferries-Calais-migrants-Britain-hours-EU-out-vote-referendum-Brexit

“MIGRANTS living in shanty camps in northern France will be put on ferries and sent to Britain the day after a vote to leave the EU, a French mayor warned last night.

Franck Dhersin said the Touquet agreement, which was signed in 2003 and places the UK border at the French ports, will be quickly torn up after an out vote, allowing the French government to hire DFDS ferries to start the mass exodus immediately.

The ferry company operates from Calais and Dunkirk to Dover.

French gendarmes would be called in to police the vessels when the evacuations begin.

Mr Dhersin, a no-nonsense mayor for a 7,000 strong community at Teteghem, a large suburb of Dunkirk, was last year instrumental in closing a migrant camp in the town where shootings had taken place between rival people-smuggling gangs.

Plans for the mass ferry evacuations have the full backing of Calais mayor Natalie Bouchart and Xavier Bertrand, the recently re-elected powerful president of the Nord-Pasde-Calais-Picardie region.

In an exclusive interview with the Sunday Express, Mr Dhersin said: “We all believe that Britain will vote to leave the EU because of the rise of nationalism, not only in your country, but in other European countries as well.

“Then the Touquet agreement we have at the moment, which puts the UK border in France, will quickly come to an end. Be in no doubt, it will no longer exist.

“The border will move to Dover and so the migrants who come to Calais and other ports and towns in northern France will then be put on DFDS ferries and taken to Dover. This will happen….”

    • First of all the man is stupid, already those migrants have not followed the rules, neither will putting them on a ferry after a no vote, there is a two year negotiation period in which the current rules apply.

I would reply as Britain taht do they want to lose that Ferry, it will be confiscated, as will any asset used in that way. Simple as… if he was no nonsense they would have been put on a ferry and dropped off in North Africa.

    • The English had a “Home Guard” during World War 2 ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_Guard_%28United_Kingdom%29 ) composed of civilians. No reason they couldn’t be reconstituted and armed to repel the African/ Islamic reverse “D-Day” invasion force. I’m sure that the RAF wouldn’t mind taking out ship full of criminals coming to attack their womenfolk in the streets!

  27. EU to steal our coastline: Brussels to bring in new super-coastguard to overrule UK (express, Mar 6, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/650141/EU-coastline-Brussels-super-coastguard-UK-migrant-crisis

“THE EU has drawn up plans to seize control of the British coastguard service as it creates a Europe-wide border force.

Critics say it would result in the biggest transfer of sovereignty since the creation of the euro.

The extraordinary measure moved a step closer last week as the European Commission announced plans to accelerate the plan’s introduction to help deal with the migrant crisis.

The move would see the EU take control of the British coastguard, including policing migration on the seas, and is being pushed through to tighten the Continent’s external borders before the expected summer upsurge in migrants.

It has already won the backing of the European Council and the EU commissioner for migration said it should be adopted by all member states “without delay”.

Last night the Government said it was fighting the plan, insisting: “We will not be part of an EU border and coastguard.”

However, even with the British objections, the EU proposal would allow the 1,000-strong agency to prowl Britain’s coastline and “intervene directly” if it felt that its borders were under threat.

The EU could also deploy the service, which is expected to have a budget of £250million by 2020, in the event of emergencies “even without the approval of the country concerned”.

The ease with which migrants can get into Europe has been a major concern as increasing numbers flee conflicts in the Middle East.

More than 2,000 mainly Islamic migrants are flowing from Turkey into Greece every day…”

SOT, Activist (German): “Mrs. Merkel is primarily responsible for the economic sanctions against Russia. That is why she is responsible for more than 600,000 working places which are under threat only in Germany.”

SOT, Activist (German): “Today we don’t have any democracy here in Nuremberg. And today we want to prove it.”

SOT, Activist (German): “Members of the organisation Antifa, who are behind us today, are modern fascists. Today they are those who are against the nation!”

  30. AUSTRALIA – Islamist fundamentalist group Hizb ut-Tahrir found guilty of gender discrimination

A Radical Muslim group has been found guilty of discriminating against women after making them sit at the back of public meetings.

The landmark finding came after a Sydney woman took on the global political party Hizb ut-Tahrir.

The group will now be forced to mend their ways.

During a public meeting in Western Sydney, men are seated at the front and women directed to sit at the back.

One woman, Alison Bevege, was appalled by that treatment, so she went to the Equal Opportunity Tribunal.

    Today, she won.

“If you want to have a public meeting in Australia you cannot have Sharia gender segregation at a public meeting,” Ms Bevege said.

Global Islamist fundamentalist group Hizb ut-Tahrir calls for Sharia law to rule in Australia, holding rallies open to the public but expecting all attendees to conform to their rules.

“Their trying to normalise gender segregation, it’s in their constitution, but this sends a strong message,” Ms Bevege said.

Hizb ut-Tahrir claimed Alison is an Islamaphobe and that Australian law could not dictate the religious affairs of its members at rallies.

In its decision, the Tribunal found Hizb ut Tahrir guilty of unlawful discrimination on the grounds of sex and its leader Ismael al Wahwah personally responsible for the discriminatory conduct against women.

From now on, Hizb ut-Tahrir must display notices making it clear women can sit where they like and their ushers cannot force women to the back of the room.

7News approached Hizb ut-Tahrir for comment, but received no reply.

The all-male leadership has repeatedly denigrated and insulted Alison Bevege as a bigot.

Now, they must grapple with the fact that she was right and they discriminated against women.

Their leader Mr al-Wahwah has previously courted controversy with his attacks on Jews and calls for Jihad.

“What they’re doing is crushing the rights of progressive, secular muslims and non-muslims anb they’re not allowed to do this in Australia,” Ms Bevege said.

Hizb ut-Tahrir has no public rallies currently advertised.

  32. Moderate “European” Islam: Stemming Terror with Band Aids

Last week Austria ordered the first foreign-funded imam to be expelled when his visa expires. The decision was made under the new provisions of an anti-radicalization law, which Austria passed one year ago under considerable controversy. The main aim of the law is to counter extremism by requiring imams to speak German, and to prohibit foreign funding for mosques, imams and Muslim organizations in Austria. It also stresses that Austrian law must take precedence over Islamic sharia law for Muslims living in the country.

“We want a future in which increasing numbers of imams have grown up in Austria speaking German, and can in that way serve as positive examples for young Muslims,” said Integration Minister Sebastian Kurz, who helped draft the law. Another 65 imams are expected to be deported in the coming weeks, after being informed that their visas will not be renewed. The decision to deport the foreign imam has — predictably — been deemed unconstitutional by Austria’s Constitutional Court, which finds the law discriminatory because it targets only Muslims.

In a similar vein, the Belgian government recently earmarked €3.3 million to be able to pay the wages of 80 new imams in order to “help stimulate a moderate European form of Islam,” reported the Flemish daily newspaper De Standaard last week. Justice Minister Koen Geens said that official recognition of mosques forms “part of our strategy to promote a more integrated form of Islam,” one intended to counter radicalization, violent extremism and terrorism. He added: “A recognized mosque is a sign of an integrated Islam. In the fight against radicalization, it is important that young people don’t drift into the arms of radical mosques. This also provides us with more interlocutors.”

  35. UK: Thousands march in London to condemn ‘Turkish state war’ on Kurds

Several thousand pro-Kurdish supporters took to the streets of central London on Sunday, to denounce the ‘Turkish state war’ on the Kurdish people.

    • “Russia has taken charge and Turkey Iran and Syria don’t like it but can’t do anything about it.

The Kremlin has been adamant that Iran withdraw its forces from Syria – including its proxy, the Lebanon-based Hezbollah guerrilla terrorist fighters – who are backing President Bashar al-Assad. Russia has reportedly told Iran their interests are different in Syria.

A highly-placed source told Kuwait’s daily Al-Jarida newspaper that Russia’s President Vladimir Putin is retracting the sale of the S-300 anti-missile system. The moves comes as punishment to Iran for violating its pledge not to hand over any of its sophisticated weaponry to terrorist groups.”

      • Remember the J.E. Dyer article about how Syria isn’t about Assad anymore? I said then that Russia was creating a client state/colony in Syria that would require Russia to take Turkey to attach the new area to Russia physically. Now Russia is ordering all others out of Syria and taking some of their fancy weapons back.

Please God let us get a Patriot as President in the coming election.

    • This says a lot about Putin as a leader, I so wish we had such clear sighted leaders in charge of Europe and the USA. I hope this is true…

      • You and me both, Europe is putting up people like Geert Wilders and the US is bringing a lot of purged US military officers into the arena. In the political arena Cruz is the best one running for President but he probably won’t get the nomination, Trump has too much support for Cruz to make the top of the ticket.

      • Israel gave Putin evidence that Iran had transferred surface-to-air missiles to Hezbollah. He promised he wouldn’t allow that.

After Russian planes flew over Lebanon and corroborated the transfer, Putin said, ‘Not cricket,’ and cancelled the S-300s.
