1. Yale student unloads on faculty member for denying her ‘safe space’
A new video has surfaced that shows a student at Yale University screaming at one of the school’s professors for allegedly failing to make the campus a “safe space” in general for students.
Yale University has been hit by controversy in the past week after professor Erika Christakis, associate headmaster of the school’s Silliman College, sent an email to the college’s members suggesting that they shouldn’t be overly sensitive about Halloween costumes that engage in “cultural appropriation.” Instead, Christakis encouraged students to tolerate them and avoid trying to censor expression.
“Is there no room anymore for a child or young person to be a little bit obnoxious … a little bit inappropriate or provocative or, yes, offensive?” Christakis wrote. “American universities were once a safe space not only for maturation but also for a certain regressive, or even transgressive, experience; increasingly, it seems, they have become places of censure and prohibition.” (Link to related video)
2. Russians turn on Charlie Hebdo over ‘blasphemous’ Egypt crash cartoons
MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russians took to social media in large numbers over the weekend to denounce French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, after the Kremlin condemned as blasphemous its cartoons about the crash of a Russian passenger plane in Egypt.
The French magazine published two cartoons after a Russian passenger plane crashed in the Sinai Peninsula on Oct. 31, killing all 224 people on board. Investigators are now “90 percent sure” it was downed by a bomb, a member of the investigation team told Reuters on Sunday.
The first drawing showed a passenger’s skull, with the caption: “The dangers of Russian low cost” flights. The second showed the plane’s debris falling on an Islamist militant with the legend: “The Russian air force is intensifying its air strikes.”
VK, one of Russia’s largest social media networks, said on Sunday the magazine’s cartoons had been the most discussed topic by its more than 100 million active users over the weekend.
(Russia’s response is the appropriate way to respond to tasteless and insensitive depictions of a tragedy or attack like that)
3. Here is a longer video of the recent stabbing attack in Israel. It would appear that a near fully cloaked muslim woman approached an Israeli man and asked him for help which he was giving. As he was looking at whatever thing to get the information she appeared to be asking for, sh stabbed him while he was distracted while trying to assist her. I think that is a microcosm for Islam and its interfaith relations throughout history frankly.
4. British extremists linked to jet bomb: London & Birmingham voices heard cheering disaster
They were overheard celebrating moments after the explosion that blew the plane apart, killing all 224 on board.
The jihadis were heard talking in Birmingham and London accents by spies at GCHQ in Cheltenham.
Trained in Syria and with an electronics background, it is believed they may have had a hand in building the bomb.

A 50-second video was uploaded to YouTube by A Saudi activist Ali Dubaisy, who says Middle East Eye he had obtained it from sources inside the kingdom. He said a tourist in the Red Sea city of Jeddah filmed the footage on a mobile phone, adding that it is rare to obtain such footage as it is illegal to film executions.
A man was arrested in January after filming the public beheading of a woman in Mecca.
Dubaisy said he is not aware when the execution of the three men took place but he said it was “recently”. The men’s identity and the reason for their execution is not known.

But intelligence analysts have warned that would-be militants could be using the migrant routes to reach Europe undetected.
Once ashore in countries such as Italy and Greece, it is feared that militants could side-step identification by the authorities – and plot violent attacks on European cities.
Mehdi was arrested in 2007 in a Europe wide anti-terrorism operation in 2007.
The European Union is to offer money and visas to African countries which agree to take back thousands of illegal immigrants.
Plans have been drawn up for Brussels to bankroll a package of support for which will encourage the ‘return and sustainable reintegration of irregular migrants’.
But in return some countries will agree to let thousands of well-qualified African doctors, students and entrepreneurs into the EU, in a move branded ‘madness’.

EU leaders have struggled to find a way to deal with the hundreds of thousands of extra people who have arrived on the continent’s shores this year, with many more expected over the next two years.

This is what Nationalists have been saying they wanted to do for many decades; except instead of politician to politician funding, they would put cash into the hands of the migrants to leave. I guess this is the difference between international and national socialism: the first excluded for being a different type of worker and the other for only being a different type of colour.

That Saudi triple-beheading is a relaxing walk in the park on a spring morning compared to what ISIS or any of the other jihadists would do to you – what they did to Daniel Pearl. An Islamic beheading is the most terrible death imaginable, not, “swish…thunk”. The media does the world a disservice by always obscuring that fact. The media are afraid that if we knew how utterly merciless the Islamists were, we would hate them and probably prevent them from making incursions into our world, and for some unknown reason they are adamantly opposed to that…
