1: Investigative Project publishes article on Quebec’s proposed law punishing criticism of Islam with major fines.

Thirteen years, thirteen honor killings, all in Muslim families, all of them in Canada. But if you should condemn those murders, you might find yourself the subject of investigation and convicted of a crime.

Quebec Human Rights Commissioner Jacques Frémont has proposed a bill “to prevent and combat hate speech and speech inciting violence.”

If adopted, the law known as Bill 59 would allow Quebec’s Human Rights Commission or members of the public “to initiate a ‘hate speech’ lawsuit against a person who makes a statement considered discriminatory against a group,” Marc Lebuis, director of Point de Bascule, an organization that tracks Islamist activities in Canada, said in a recent interview.

In a court document, prosecutors alleged that the defendants used the Internet to access ISIS propaganda and communicate with foreign fighters in Somalia and Syria.

In the Friday evening filing, which came in response to motions filed in the case by lawyers representing the defendants, federal prosecutors rejected many of the defense’s motions, including a number of arguments over vague definitions for terms like “material support” and “terrorist activity.”

In April, FBI agents arrested six of the seven men in multiple operations in Minneapolis and San Diego following a 10-month investigation. The seventh man, Hamza Ahmed, was arrested last November.

3. Former peacemaker and Obama team member fears for his life as he opposes the Iran deal, and exposes Obama’s indifference to the danger he knows exists in the Iranian regime.

Dr. K.A. Paul, a well known peacemaker who also served for a time as an operative for US President Barack Obama, stressed that the Iranian regime cannot be trusted and that Obama knows that they are very close to having the bomb but this has not affected his actions. He also indicated that the whole NATO intervention in Libya could have been prevented and has evidence to prove it.

  1. I believe Quebec’s bill 59 aims at stopping Islamist propagandists that recruit in schools and anybody that preaches violence. We see so many pictures on Twitter of people protesting with banners “behead those who insult Islam”, making those illegal is a good thing.

As for anti-Islam protesters, they should not target people (Muslims), but their mindless cult that is Islam.

    • Hate speech laws are never used against the haters, they are used against those who oppose oppression by the haters, in this case anyone telling the truth about Islam.
