Obama accused of ‘throwing the game’ by retired General and more: Links post 2 of Oct. 13 – 2014

I was listening to a FOX News radio station with a streaming application on my mobi and they had a guest, a retired Lt. General, Thomas McInerney who said, paraphrasing from memory, that people in the military have been telling him that they are ‘not used to deliberately losing a war’. He claims that Obama is deliberately not attacking with available airpower the Islamic State targets in order to allow them to achieve their goals. This is unprecedented in US military history.

Here is a video from sometime before Oct. 8 where he says something in the same general vein:

Still looking for something recent. He was very very clear and unafraid in his analysis.

1. Iraq crisis: 180,000 flee IS advance in Anbar, UN says

As many as 180,000 people have fled fighting between Iraqi forces and Islamic State (IS) militants in and around the city of Hit in western Anbar province, the UN says.

The civilians – many of whom were already displaced – have headed east towards the war-torn city of Ramadi.

2. A good article on the oppression in the terror financing regime of Qatar

3. The Kafkaesque treatment of a Catholic college prof. who did not support a boycott of Israel.

4. Islamic State: £250K seized at Manchester Airport and other north-west ports

More than £250,000 of suspected Islamic State (IS) funds have been seized at Manchester Airport and other north-west ports in the past year, anti-terrorist officers said.

The NW Counter Terrorism Unit used civil powers under the Terrorism Act to confiscate cash found hidden in luggage or under clothing.

5. The UK is about to start a trial for an alleged terrorist with the most unusual rules

6. Leon Panetta on Islamic State Threat.

7. Three more arrests in London terror probe

Three men have been arrested in central London on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism, Scotland Yard said.

Two men arrested last week have today been released from custody, the force said, while three others held remain in custody after a court granted further detention.

8. Two possible Ebola cases in the Ottawa area.

(Officials are doing everything they can to protect the identity of the potentially diseased. But doesn’t this simultaneously make sure anyone who might have had contact with them cannot possibly know it, therefore endangering us all?)

Thank you M., UK Pete, Richard, and all.

      • The left builds coalitions of disruption with interest groups

This is all the Frankfort School, Critical Theory, Marx + Freud et al.! So I don’t need a textbook after all, right?

But everything’s beginning to look like that to this hammer, aka, the YankeeKafir

    • Some sort of scale is needed of the level of awareness on the part of leftists of what they’re doing, with completely clueless useful idiots at one end and the worst of the worst at the other, and an identifying tag for each of them.

    • What can we say? That is, without crashing the blog and putting Eeyore in a prison where he’ll be surrounded by pinhead Tards?

  1. Lt. General Thomas McInerney is saying what I have been hearing at the VA for years, once you listen to the retired vets and look at the pattern of Obama’s actions you have to believe what they are saying. Obama is out to destroy the west and help create the new Caliphate.

      • Who ever thought we would be hoping for a civil war or military coup to restore freedom in the US?

        • Every so often a generation is ask to let their best and brightest be destroy so freedom can reign in the civilized world. This time we are being called on to face more enemies and obstructions them most generations have to face.

Another attempt to whitewash Islam. If anything comes up in the trial that connects terrorism to Islam they can just keep it under wraps.
