Australian TV, a notoriously leftist station Oz-Rita tells me, had a one hour special on muslims who had been enjoying the benefits of Australia but decided to leave to fight for the Islamic State.
The show focuses on interviews with muslims in Australia as well as some who called or Skyped in from the IS.
Frankly, I thought the show was mediocre over all because this host, like most media personalities simply do not understand Islam well enough to ask the right questions or understand the answers. As a consequence, you get a somewhat milquetoast show. But at least the host knew enough to know what is taking place is bad. And that far too many muslims in Australia have values which are antithetical to Western democratic ones.
My biggest problem with the show, and with many similar ones, is the failure of hosts to understand the proprietary use of important terms muslims use. For example, when the muslim decked out with patches of Al-Qaeda and ISIS etc. used the term, ‘justice’ he meant the utter right to impose sharia on all people world wide. He also knew the host heard the word as all of us typically think of the word, as an expression of something perfectly desirable and probably even reflecting quasi socialist values to her ears.
This clip is 20 minutes of the hour and Oz-Rita was kind enough to supply cut points and save us the banality of it all. But for video-massochists, or those who may feel there is value in parts we skipped over, and there well may be, here is a link to the whole show.

A very smart and brave woman who would make an excellent President, it is a shame that the left has done so much character assassination that it is doubtful is she could win.
Re “Justice”. Further to that, socialists and quasi-socialists also love to use this word, and what they mean is the same thing as devout muslims do – “we’re going to impose our rules/way of doing things on you whether you like it or not.” It has nothing to do with the dictionary definition. That’s why they respond so well when muslims talk of “justice”
how many times have you heard leftists talk about “social justice” or similar? It’s the exact same concept. A Pavlovian response, almost.
