We are all Nazarenes! Used as a message of hatred and contempt by the Islamic fanatics of “ISIL”, the letter “nûn” (?) of the Arabic alphabet is slowly becoming a sign of recognition worldwide, a symbol of pride to be Christian and of solidarity with the Christians from Iraq.

This time the symbol of the letter nûn ? invited itself, and was given prominence once more by a courageous woman journalist.

Dima Sadeq, star presenter of the news channel LBCI, appeared on the screen wearing a T-shirt with the letter nûn (?). She explained:  “From Mosul to Beirut, we are all nûn ?”, she declared just before presenting the evening news.

“We are all targets, pointed at with a finger or a sword because we are different, in terms of sex, religion or skin colour. We are all targets of the killers in these times of madness,” she declared in front of her viewers.

With this she is following the example of the  famous journaliste, Dalia al-Aquidi, an Iraqi and a muslim, on whom Aleteia reported recently.

  1. She looks attractive too. Why is that all the decent, brave women are good-looking and all the Leftist witches are hags? As for the vile little Muslimas who support the religion that enslaves them, they are so fugly that they keep their hairy ogre faces permanently covered.
    I think ugliness must do something to the female psyche to make them as ugly on the inside as they are on the outside.
    Come to think of it, the same psyche probably applies to the men too. I’ve yet to see a handsome mullah or imam. They all look like bearded monkeys that have been bashed in the face with a shovel.

    Just for the record, I have to point out that I myself am extremely handsome!

    • You’ll find Bob, that all TV presenters are attractive or they would not get the seat.
      As to the ugliness of features, this only comes about when there is no love in the relationship, but a cousin to receive. And here their repulsiveness is the ill health of their genes; and beholds only the religious-societal conceits at work. Some would hump a wooden frame if it were covered by a tent because the symbols now trigger their desires. Victorian England apparently reached this pinacle of religious absolutism, where what makes an individual a suitable mate, from looks to pheromones, are ignored for other values of prosperity in the prevailing cultural environment.
      I suspect the veiling of women has enabled poor choices and this includes badly designed genitalia needing augment surgery too, as no one had the opportunity to behold and guide them to a mating decision. It make the Amazonian tribes civilized in their values regarding nudity and the human form.

      Some may decide more on personality of a partner – if it allowed to express itself – so the brain of the next generation evolves.
      Or if you wish, stick to the facial characteristics of the baby to its moma in your decisions about beauty. Each to their own evolutionary path – which is the whole point of having reason and not extremes to live by.

    The fighting broke out on Saturday after Lebanese soldiers detained an alleged member of the Syrian Islamist group Nusra Front.

    On Sunday morning, the fighting was continuing in the mainly Sunni town.

    The area has been the scene of regular tension between the Lebanese army and Syrian militias.

    Throughout the night, troops battled the gunmen who fired mortar shells at Arsal and the surrounding region, the Lebanese army said.

    At least two Lebanese civilians were also reported to have been killed in the clashes.

    On Saturday, the Syrian fighters briefly seized a police station in the town, which is home to thousands of refugees from the war in Syria.

    A Nusra Front spokesman told Reuters news agency they were demanding the release of a leader, Emad Jumaa, after he was arrested at a checkpoint near the town…”

  4. I see no indication that they are muslim refugees though. The Shiek may have overlooked that there is indeed a civil war in Pakistan with Christian villages being destroyed constantly and murdered and so on. It is possible that they are Christian or Hindu refugees. It would be good to know this.

    The article is woefully lacking in valuable information and the Sheik may be acting on assumptions.

      I have put the point you made to Sheikh.

      OTH as a Turkish is reporting, and the UNHCR is protesting, then the likelihood of the refugees being Muslim is high. I don’t think they have protested too much when Christians are persecuted in Muslim countries..

      • Overall I find the news media informing us more honoured in the breach than the practice. It is stunning how we are lied to by mass media all seeming to have some other agenda, either corruption or protecting a ruling class or some other reason.

        I am not saying it is not as you say or as the Sheik says. I am saying that it could be otherwise. I have interviewed Christians, Hindus and Buddhists at the thick of these areas personally and know there are indeed civil wars and refugees of non-muslims I also know that the buddhists in Sri Lank are sometimes not that sympathetic to the Christians and certainly the Christians are skeptical of the Buddhists as well.

        Clearly however it is the Muslims that are the source of the animus and the violence in all places.
