Ottawa under terror threat?
Intelligence officials are monitoring Iran as a possible terrorist threat to the Ottawa area. According to a report by Stewart Bell in the National Post, documents from the Integrated Terrorist Assessment Centre point to recent anti-Canada rhetoric from Tehran. As a result, intelligence officials have been monitoring the Islamic republic as a possible threat. And the Capital is mentioned specifically. The reports do not specify the exact nature of the threat Tehran may pose to the Ottawa region, but in the past Iran has used its proxy force, Hezbollah, to attempt attacks internationally.
