(In the above linked article, they do quote an eye witness who saw the man clearly and still do not describe him whatsoever other than an estimate of the person’s emotions at the time. If you can see him that well, if you can, as the article states, see his eyes, then maybe you can tell if he looks European, Middle Eastern, Maghreb etc?)

OK, the article says that an antique dealer got a straight look at the guy, so why the total lack of description from the police? Sure, the antique dealer might not have gotten a perfect look at the killer, but he had to have seen enough to tell what race he was at least, and more than that probably. Less than the nothing that has so far been released. Was the guy Chinese? Was he black? Did he have a big nose or a beard or a scar on his left cheek? Or perhaps the politicians in charge signed a memorandum of understanding with a guy called, “Mohammed”, or got their mortgages taken care of by a guy called, “Abdallah”, and part of the deal was to do exactly what they are doing now. What other explanation can there be? Why would the police anywhere be so averse to catching a guy who would walk into a museum and start murdering people? If Ed Begley Junior would take money to screw his own country, why not some politicians in Belgium?
Remember, once you’ve been bribed, you can never go back on the bribers for fear that they will blow the whistle on you and ruin your life. Once you have been bribed, they own you forever, don’t they…
China’s Police Ministry Orders Campaign Against Terrorism
BEIJING–China’s national police ministry launched a yearlong crackdown on terrorism, ordering police forces nationwide Sunday to prevent the further spread of violent attacks that have emanated from the western region of Xinjiang and unsettled the Chinese public.
In a video conference with provincial and regional police chiefs, Vice Public Security Minister Yang Huanning called Xinjiang the “main battlefield” in the campaign, but told the officials they must look at “the entire country as one chess board.”

Turkey: 38 detained in Okmeydani police raid
Police detained some 38 people during a 5-hour raid carried out in the Okmeydani neighbourhood on Sunday. They reportedly confiscated guns, fireworks, 500 grams of explosives, Molotov cocktails plus materials to make more.
Twenty six of those detained were members of the Patriot and Revolutionary Youth Movement (YDG-H) and 12 more were members of the Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party/Front (DHKP/C). Five of those detained were reportedly under the age of 18.

Jesus. That article from Forbes should have been “Forbes Editor Can’t Recognize Blatant Russian Propoganda For Some Reason”.
Why everything you read in that Forbes article is Neo Soviet propoganda.
1. It referes to the Ukranian government as “The Kiev regime”. Says it’s “polarizing” the nation. It focuses on the difference between the west and east Ukraine.
Says it’s “humiliating” the “Russian” population.
“their narrow vision” a subtle attack on the Ukranian government.
“Western and eastern Ukraine do not understand each other’s preoccupations, just as Cubans in Miami and Cubans in Havana would not understand each other.”
Of course Cubans in Miami and Havana understand each other. That’s why Cubans flee Cuba in whatever way they can and why Cubans in Cuba still despise Castro. Saying it’s because they don’t understand each other is muddying of perception over something unquantifiable and instilling doubt. That’s classic soviet style propoganda. For similar examples watch just about any goddamned RT clip.
“Ukrainian nationalist rhetoric has become downright offensive and hysterical, ostracizing…” Soviet propoganda. That passage also lumps them in with the Nazis and slides smoothly over WHY they first welcomed the Nazis as liberators.
No mention of Stalin’s genocide in the Ukraine. Hrm….
3. The nicest thing the article has to say about any Ukrainian politician is that they are reminiscent of the Nazis. So we better let Putin take Eastern Ukraine to protect it from these incompetant, corrupt, oligarchical Nazis.
Just like Russia did for the sake of Poland and Finland at the beginning of WWII. (that doesn’t mean this is the beginning of a world war – just that it’s the same BS used back then)
4.”Ukraine is the land of oligarchs” what a coikidink that the problem with Ukraine is “oligarchs”, the same problem Putin so valiantly saved Russia from. Oh, and for “oligarch” read viable political candidate independent from the KGB.
Jesus. That was just my responce to the 1st sentance. The rest of the section actually lauds Putin for imprisoning his democratic political rivals. Jesus!
5 “The Western press, including Forbes, has underestimated the extent of OLIGARCH Igor Kolomoisky’s influence.” Using that sort of lable just before a name is Soviet slimery 101. The enemy “is” something, rather than “does” something. We would recognize it as an “Alinsky” tactic.
Then the propogandist (see what I did there?) attacks a guys pro Jewish and pro Israel activity as meaningless because the area has a “tradition” of progroms. So discounting actual stuff a guy actually did, with stuff that happened in history but isn’t happening now AND with allusion to of his possible motives. That’s head F-ery is what that is.
Basically it’s attacking the work a politician and business man has done on behalf of jews in Ukraine and the State of Israel. Because you can’t paint your opposition as Fascist Nazis if they do inconvenient things like build holocaust museums and work with Israel – so doubt has to be inserted there. Russian propogandists lurve lurve lurve to instill doubt.
6. “Russia is weak”. So what. That’s why they want to grab productive areas from their neighboring ex states.
“Only a fanatical Russophobe would imagine that Russia wants to expand.” I don’t need to explain that BS here.
Russia DOES want to expand- expansion isn’t just taking acrage but also production and resources. The first thing they’ve done in Crimea is take all the oil and gas production. I bet most people missed that little tid bit.
Similarly “contested” areas of ex Soviet republics also just happened to have concentrations of industry and resources. Stalin carved up the map the way he did in order to deprive future free republics of their sources of wealth. Putin is utilzing Stalin’s plan.
That doesn’t make him Stalinistic or whatever. He isn’t a genocidal mass murderer. Just a huge dick.

Oh so there’s no foreign angle to the conflict whatsoever in Ukraine. No “Euromaidan”. No Nato conspiracy. No American conspiracy. Watching neo soviet news outlets doesn’t give that impression.
Part of these episodes is about Putin slicing off bits of his neighbors because he doesn’t want Europe expanding it’s influence.
(Search youtube for vids of a travel show that featured “places that don’t exist”. Most of the places were ex soviet republics where the wealthy areas were “seperatist” from the rest of the free ex republics.)
Using academics as sock puppets was a common cold war propoganda tactic. Basically the intelligence agency gives the academic or journalist an article or book and the academic submits it as if they had written it themselves. The CIA and PR agencies do it too.
One fun thing about this episode is that we’ve been able to see which media outlets have been most infiltrated or influenced by the FSB. Despite this atrocious episode, I wouldn’t include Forbes. But I would include small time outlets like “Disinformation”, which has become a clearing house for Russian and Islamist propoganda.
#4 Thank you for the analysis, it is very informative about what is going on and the motivation of the main players. He may be correct about Putin not wanting to expand but Putin’s actions adn his words are saying that he wants to rebuild the Russian Empire/Soviet Union. His political actions are showing that he is leaning more towards an absollute Monarchy then he is to any other form of government.
His analysis on the populaton problem that Russia has is very good but is ignoring the population problem China has, China’s population is also dropping like a rock with the added problem of the sexual imbalance caused by the one child policy. The normal ratio of girls to boys is 1.3 girls for every boy, in China right now it is 4 to 5 boys for every girl. China is facing a crisis of their own making where the male population is growing restless because of the lack of women. This is one reason I keep predicting that China is going to try expanding into neighboring countries, they not only need the mineral resources they need the women to be wives to their young men.
