Egypt: Clashes rock Cairo’s Al-Azhar University and Iran makes deal with Afghanistan

From Youtube:

Pro-Muslim Brotherhood students from Cairo’s al-Azhar University blocked streets in Cairo’s Nasr City district on Sunday during a demonstration calling for oustered president Mohamed Morsi be reinstated. Protests have been ongoing since a pro-Muslim Brotherhood student from the university died during clashes on November 21.

Students pelted stones and bottles at those opposed against them, leaving dozens injured. The protesters also lit a fire at the university’s dormitory gates, reportedly to lessen the effects of tear gas fired at the students earlier in the protest by police.

Meanwhile, Iran and Afghanistan just signed a formal alliance of sorts.

  1. If there were any doubt before we fought the wrong side in these wars there should be none now.

  2. With Obama cutting our military and pulling the troops out of the middle east this was to be expected, our former allies are making the deals they think will be needed to remain alive and semi-free.
