Main Syrian Rebel Group: We’ll Attack America Later

It may be worth listening to these guys. After all, the Afghan rebels we helped defeat Soviet invasion of Afghanistan also made their plans known.

The West seems to be moving towards directly arming and training Syrian rebels, even though 10 of 12 groups are Islamist. Since the largest single fighting force is Al-Qaeda affiliate Jabhat al-Nusra, it would be wise to listen to its future plans.

In an interview with the Economist, a Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist is asked if the group “plan[s] to carry out operations against the West in the future.” Al-Qaeda-linked terrorists aren’t known for their diplomatic language, but the al-Nusra fighter is careful to avoid an overly incriminating quote. 1. When people say they are going to kill you pay attention. Obama and the Dimihis (sp?) in Europe are busy trying to buy peace (on the part of Europe) and destroy the west (Obama), with this going on the rest of us must look after our own safety.

  2. UN envoy says Syria peace talks not to be held in June

GENEVA, June 5 (Xinhua) — The United Naitons and Arab League Joint Special Representative for Syria Lakhdar Brahimi said Wednesday that it will not be possible for the Geneva conference on Syria, initiated by Russia and United States, to be held in June.

“There is still a lot of work to do to bring a conference about. For this reason, we have come to a conclusion that it will not be possible to hold this conference in June,” Brahimi said after meetings with senior officials of Russia and the U.S..

He told reporters that the Syrian opposition has to complete a lot of work to get ready for the conference.

“And until the opposition is ready, all we can do is wait. I encourage them to get there, but obviously the conference cannot take place without them,” he said.

[…]Asked who will choose the Syrian opposition that will participate in the conference, he said there have been discussions ongoing between the Syrians and in cooperation with different regional and international parties to reach a Syrian delegation that is acceptable to the opposition parties.

  3. It boggles one’s mind to even think as to trusting these ‘rebels’. Everyone has such short memories, we in the West in the past 60 decades have armed many shady groups worldwide. Our arms merchants made a lot of cash in the billions of dollars, however when these dirtbags turn on us our youth come home in metal boxes. As far as I am concerned let the bozos kill each other over these petty, tribal, sectarian, and political differences. We should be watching from the sidelines.

  4. Frank if they would keep their war over there I would agree with you, the problem is they are out to conquer the world, a fact that not enough people understand.

As far as us arming the assholes of the world, we were then in a war of survival, one the left works hard to deny was being waged against us (rather like what they are doing now). Yes we armed the people who turned against us but it was arm them or lose to the left, one again we are fighting and will probably end up arming people who are out to destroy us.
