The North’s official KCNA news agency, the mouthpiece of the Stalinist regime, said Kim signed off on the orders at a midnight meeting of top generals and “judged the time has come to settle accounts with the US imperialists in view of the prevailing situation.”
“He finally signed the plan on technical preparations of strategic rockets of the KPA, ordering them to be standby for fire so that they may strike any time the US mainland, its military bases in the operational theaters in the Pacific, including Hawaii and Guam, and those in South Korea.”
The escalation came hours after Pyongyang claimed that the nation was “burning with hatred” for the US after its show of force in the region.

While I was messing around adding a mini Me to the photo, I noticed that the original Reuters photo is also a photoshop. There is zero depression in the chair that the DPRK guy is sitting in and I’m pretty sure that his manatee like hide of his is not filled with helium.
I wonder why Reuters would try and pull of a faked photo as an actual one.

Frank I was thinking I was the only one who saw China pulling the strings, what scares me is the way the Chinese are pushing their agenda in the South China Sea. They are using NK as a distraction while they bully the other nations and Obama then tells the other nations to give in, like he did the Philippines a last term.

Reuters is right down there in the credibility states with the BBC, AlJezeera and an increasingly propagandist main media.
I’m reminded of the Mohamed AlDura story, which did sooo much to demonise the Jews:
