BEIJING // Authorities in China‘s restive northwestern region of Xinjiang have banned Muslim officials and students from fasting during Ramadan, prompting an exiled rights group to warn of new violence.
Guidance posted on numerous government websites called on Communist Party leaders to restrict Muslim religious activities during the holy month, including fasting and visiting mosques.
Xinjiang is home to around nine million Uighurs, a Turkic speaking, largely Muslim ethnic minority, many of whom accuse China’s leaders of religious and political persecution.
At least China is making a stand against the muslims, their country their rules if the muzzies dont like it then they can piss off.

I wonder what prompted them to do this and how is it enforced?
They can not visit a mosque either? are they going to start ripping down these military bases soon?

However, you will find sometimes even greater curtailing of the evils of muslims in places like Turkmenistan and all the other central asian stans. I think in one of the stans each mosque sermon can not last longer than fifteen minutes and is monitored by the state for the slightest wiff of going crazy for Allah. In Uzbekistan you can be hauled into prison for having a beard. It seems that part of the world which was led by the Soviets for so long retains its sanity in the face of the modern world of soft socialistic multiculteralism in the west and full on jihad in other parts of the world.
You will notice the article says that the muzzies are a minority. This is recent. With the flooding of the area with Chinese workers the muzzies have become a minority. This is a demographic war against the muzzies. In time the muzzies and their allah will be a distant memory in the entire region. It will have been liberated from Islam. It is happening so quickly it is amazing.
Seeing as non muslims and muslims can be whipped or killed for not fasting in most islamic countries you would think there would be a collective sigh of relief from the Uighur community. But I imagine they will explode in anger and indignation like always.
I’m beginning to like the Chinese government, at least they don’t just waffle on and try to justify Islam like some goverments do. They grab hold of the problem with both hands and do something. Take note some of you spineless western politicians and p.c. do-gooders.
Why don’t muslims just take their annual holidays during this ‘only eat at night’ period (calling it fasting is a joke), that way they don’t endanger others by their dehydration.
I think that the real reason for the many arbitrary prohibitions and rituals of Islam were carefully put there by Mohammed to make it impossible for non-believers to live alongside believers. Jews and Christians liked to drink wine, so he made that illegal. Persians had a great love for dogs, so he made them Haram.
No one has to plan conflict between Muslims and everybody else, they naturally occur as the result of the rules of Islam. All an infidel has to do to anger a Muslim is take his dog for a walk, or touch the Muslim with his unclean hands, or God forbid, if his extra-unclean wife does it. There is no sense to the edicts of Islam, they are just little land mines set by Mohammed for future generations to fight about.
I think there are a few hadiths which show that dogs did sense the evil that was in Mo and would start barking. There was something about him that they did not like. They really did not like him and so he did not like them. The dogs certainly got it right.

That’s my guess. I can just see the scene now. Mohammed comes into your tent with his gorilla, Hamza, and even though the master is smiling and grovelling, the dog is growling and vicious. The dog knows that behind his master’s smiles, his master is scared shitless and the dog doesn’t like it one bit. It would be difficult to cut off hand and opposite foot with three large sheep-dogs coming at you.
Yes. I’ve long suspected that Mohammed’s irrational hatred of dogs came from their accurate appraisal of him.

While I am no fan of the Chinese, if they didn’t adopt the One-Child policy than Xinjiang and other muslim regions would have already been completely swamped with non-muslim Chinese.

Richard the Chinese are doing something which we in the West and in the UK is unthinkable. Only in the Stans of central Asia and China are such things even possible. It is foresight on their part. The last thing they want is to become like Pakistan or Afghanistan. A real danger if the Muzzies start getting a little crazy for their Shin revealing God Allah (Koran 68:42). No one want to be like those horrible countries. I remember that the Egyptian Copts so long ago had protest cards saying “We do not want to be like Pakistan”. At least with the Porkies and Afghanistanis we have a good example of such fine shithole countries they have become the standard for non-oil hell hole muzzie places of barbarity. At least that is one good thing about them. They have raised a mighty standard of barbarity and depravity that no one want to emulate except for Allah crazed shin worshippers.
China is also a nation where the people have no rights, any nation that doesn’t trust me enough to allow me to speak my mind, move or travel where I want or own a firearm is one I dislike.
