The U.N. wants control of the oceans?

I wouldn’t trust the UN to run a golf club. And I really mean that. And I don’t even like golf. But if the U.N. ran a club I would probably have to play and would’t be allowed to say what I really think of the game.

It should also be pointed out, that if the oceans are no longer under direct US control, it will be the end of civilization world wide.

Did that sound a little harsh and over the top? I’m sorry, let me rephrase…

If the USA ends it global hegemony over the oceans it will mean the end of civilization world wide.

There that’s better. Why? Because trade is why nearly every country in the world is getting richer except the utterly crazy ones like North Korea or Zimbabwe and trade is only possible so long as goods can travel safely across the oceans under US navy protection and the second that protection isn’t there, well look up the end of the Roman empire as it relates to brigands (also Muslims much like the pirates that nearly killed world trade during Jefferson’s time) and the loss of safety on Roman roads.

So this, should scare the crap out of everyone.

  1. The U.N. was always very anti-American. But it is possible the Russians and the Chinese will protect the seas. The Muslim goal of course, is that only Muslim vessels can travel safely.

  2. To think that U.N. headquarters are based on U.S. soil is unthinkable. The U.N. should be disbanded forthwith.

  3. Did I missunderstand something or did that american just complain about the risk for american business to have to pay fines if they polute the oceans or rivers?

  4. This treaty is another scheme to take from the producers and give to the parasites, it will also eventually give the UN control of all water ways in the world, all rivers and creeks would belong to the UN and not the nations they flow through. This treaty would destroy all free trade and eventually all production unless you pay off the Third World nations.

What he was complaining about was that the trials would be brought under a legal system other then the US legal system and held in a court other then a US court. Listen to what is said, understand what is said and don’t try to twist what is said. The US is a free nations peopled with free people, we will never be the slaves of the Third World nations.
