Totally agree (except perhaps w/ significance of China vis a vis Pakistan), spot on analysis & prescription (US should try to prevent/delay the inevitable “coup”), but would have been better if he had explained that the “coup” need not be a direct military/intelligence takeover, but could likely be a coup-by-proxy type toppling by an Islamist party (such as he alluded to mentioning Imran Khan) in early elections.
