As the Arabs in Judea and Samaria threaten to storm Jewish communities, the women at Pnei Kedem in Gush Etzion, in the Judean hills, are learning to shoot firearms.

The extra precaution is due to concerns that Arabs will descend on communities en masse, spreading IDF forces too thin to effectively block them. In such a scenario, the civilians in some communities may have to fend for themselves.

The IDF has been given instructions to fire only at Arab intruders’ legs, even if they enter the communities. The women in the pictures don’t appear to be aiming at the lower body, though. A point for thought for potential invaders…

  1. The lady with the M16 had better be careful, holding it like that will give her a broken jaw.

Personally I don’t like the 5.56 for self defense but it is better then nothing.

  2. Yep, Richard you’re right. And more the woman from upper photo holds the gun with the right hand and aims with the left eye, thats not the best way.
    They need practical gun training.

  3. Exactly, Jan… one would think that Israelis would have learned by now that a well-armed and trained militia, comprised of adults of both genders, is an essential component of survival. Let’s face it, they are surrounded on all sides by the forces of Mordor.

  4. They, like the US knew that at one point, now the left has pushed them to rely on the government rather then themselves.

Yeah they need practical shooting training, and they need to be trained to shoot at center mass not the legs, it sounds like the PC culture has spread to Israel.
