General Director of the Norwegian Police Security Service Janne Kristiansen said Iran had approached small Norwegian companies that sell components that can be used in the manufacturing of weapons of mass destruction, Reuters reported Feb. 28. Over the past year, Iran has tried to acquire dual-use technology suitable for civilian products as well as advanced missiles, Kristiansen added.
