Muslim Brotherhood flexes muscle in Egypt

Stratfor reports the following:

June 4, 2010
Tens of thousands of people in Egypt gathered June 4 to protest Israel’s blockade of Gaza, Reuters reported. A protest in the port city of Alexandria, organized by the Muslim Brotherhood, drew about 20,000 people. Another Muslim Brotherhood-led protest in Fayoum brought approximately 10,000, and a third in El Arish in the northern Sinai Peninsula included hundreds.

I wonder if the Islamic brotherhood bothered to mention the embargo is as much Egyptian as it is Israeli.

  1. Many middle Eastern countries are definitely concerning the activities of various radical Islamist groups pressing for Islamic government, they let them operate yet in private they fear them.
