Does repost mean that the PC/MC web video-censorship squad took it down? It wouldn’t surprise me… Truth-telling about mahoundianism sure is something they hate.
On a different kind of truth-telling, there was a time when I posted on The Economist‘s website, but after awhile, their adaptation (for comment-moderation purposes) of the hadith that says “whoever insults a (child-molesting) prophet, kill him” to “whoever insults a (child-molesting) prophet, delete his comments or ban him from the forum” got on my nerves and I stopped wasting my time there.
If i told you who and why the channel that was hosting it took it down, you would be stunned.
Dude, I’ve just found out, and I am stunned. Perhaps the worst thing of all is to see Pamela Geller’s usual hysterical reaction to anything that she dislikes the slightest bit directed at this blog and at the Baron at Gates of Vienna. I’ve occasionally commented on articles at Atlas Shrugs, since I’ve found interesting articles posted on that blog at times, but I’ve never really been a regular visitor or a big fan of it; a lot of that is due to Geller’s unapologetic defense of George “mahoundianism is peace” W. Bush as someone who has helped the counter-jihadist cause a lot, when that’s so damn far from the truth. Her hysterical/outraged-beyond-outraged style too, and that extremelly visually polluted page of hers are nothing I’ve ever liked at all.
One more thing I don’t get is Robert Spencer’s shot in the foot of the counter-jihad in this whole story, by his references to Vladtepesblog and Gates of Vienna (which used to be on JW’s front page) as “a certain blogger”; when, as pointed out by JW commenter Costin, and as should be obvious to anyone who is seriously interested in stopping the jihadist threat, these two blogs have been invaluable to our cause. Spencer usually stands by Geller no matter what, and this makes it obvious that he’d back her on this one. On the other hand, as pointed out by the Hesperado, Spencer’s ridding Jihadwatch’s blogroll of Diana West’s and Andrew Bostom’s blogs seem to be symptomatic of a greater and stupid problem he might have with lots of good fighters on our side. To be fair, while the Hesperado himself occasionally engages in a kind of criticism towards JW which seems pointless and counter-productive to our side (he even used to post at a blog called “Jihadwatch-Watch”), he was fair to ask the questions he did ask in the linked article.
Such attacks can only benefit those fighting to get us all living under sharia, and this hard truth is something that Spencer and Geller, through their latest combined efforts (and Spencer’s fallout with Andrew Bostom and Diana West), seem just too oblivious to, to say the least.
