Pakistan: 41 Killed In Twin Suicide Bomb Attacks

April 17, 2010 from STRATFOR.COM
Two suicide bombers attacked the Kacha Pukka refugee camp in northwest Pakistan on April 17, killing at least 41 people and wounding more than 60 others, VOA News reported. Police say the bombers, who were wearing burqas, struck minutes apart as residents lined up to register for aid. Reuters says about 300 people were waiting in line at the time of the attack. Kacha Pukka houses people fleeing violence in the Orakzai district, where Pakistani forces have recently stepped up an offensive against Taliban militants.
