Iraq: U.S. Official Says Military Watching Fauqa Oilfield Events From A Distance

A U.S. military official said Dec. 23 the military is watching developments at the No. 4 well of the Fauqa oilfield from a distance, Aswat al-Iraq News Agency reported. The official said the U.S. military will not interfere, saying Iraq can solve the matter by diplomatic means.
