If anybody out there hasn’t read Mark Steyn‘s book America Alone, go do so now. For those of you who have, or anybody else worried about the ability of the Canadian male to procreate, be afraid. Be very, very afraid. While these findings are outside of Montreal, Quebec, don’t think that it’s an isolated incident. Canada, the U.S.A., Europe, this sort of thing could happen to any advanced nation, and probably already has.
Outside of Montreal researchers have discovered estrogen levels in the water that are up to 100 times the normal level. I don’t know what the normal level is, or why it might be “normal” to find estrogen in water, but this should seriously be ringing alarm bells. While the fertility rate in Canada is at about 1.5 children per woman, and we need 2.1 per woman just to keep our population steady without immigration, male fertility is potentially a big issue.
So what’s the big deal about estrogen in the water? Male fish with ovaries. Yes, you read that right. Male fish are developing ovaries. That is the ultimate feminization of a species. I can only assume that as they develop female reproductive organs their male organs cease to function. It’s been a fear for years now, people against birth-control pills have been preaching that all the extra estrogen in the water is harmful to us. Now there’s irrefutable proof that there is too much estrogen in the water. The very water that comes out of the taps in Montreal.
