Why it is so hard to make fun of Islam.

Regular readers of this site may be surprised to know that in fact I find it quite difficult to make fun of Islam.

In a recent conversation with a novice video maker who wanted to make a faked-subtitle video using one of those all-too-common jihadi vids from Syria where they hold up an Al Queda flag and blather on about allah and jihad and so on, much like in fact, the many that I also do, I had to point out that when making subtitles, one has to somehow be funny and relevant while at the same time, saying something related to Islam but not actually something they would really say.

Then I came across this (no pun intended) and it pretty much proved not only my point, but the point many critics of mine also make here in the comments. That it can make it harder (no pun intended) for people to tell which are real and which are not when you make the faked ones.

All I can add to this really, is the suggestion that they ‘do that wudu that they do so well’.

I suppose in a way, the funniest thing about this video is that anyone would ask this guy for personal hygiene advice.

  1. It is a funny thing that you can never tell when theyre actually a parody or not. Can pick up enough german to know this one is a straight translation, more or less.

At any rate we know why this german piglim converted to Islam. Probably the only way he could get laid. Ugliest and dumbest SOB I’ve ever seen. May god have mercy on the poor soul trapped in the muslim-bitch-tent that has to accompany him.

  2. Dear Adam, despite my revoltion, I forced myself to watch, and listen to the whole video (for you).

It is a straight translation (a damned good one too!) almost word for word.
However, what it is impossible to put into a written translation is the intonation of the man. His whole emphasis, says that he believes what he is saying is of the utmost importance.
One could almost believe he is discussing Semmelweiss and the dangers of surgery without disinfectant.
The fact that he is in fact discussing the clarity of his own semen just makes it more rediculous.

  3. Yep, i’m so glad he cleared that up for me.(if you know what i mean.)
