Pat Condell: Sweden is an example to the rest of us.

Here is the newest Pat Condell Video.

Below are two videos on immigration and the Swedish economy which I think go well with this Condell Video. I posted both videos earlier today as well, so if you have seen them, no need to again. But if you have not, then this is a great context to see them for the first time.

Sweden is asked to open its hearts to countless muslim immigrants:

Sweden is borrowing millions by the hour.

  1. If We The People don’t remove this fraud and usurper barack hussein obama from office and soon the way of Sweden will be the way of the US . This country (United States of America ) was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and beliefs and not islamic beliefs .

    • You got that right, now tell me how we remove him since the Dems will maintain enough votes in the Senate to prevent a guilty verdict if he is impeached?

  2. Islamic State militants kill two Iraq journalists (BBC, Oct 14, 2014)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-29613783

“Two Iraqi journalists have been killed by Islamic State (IS) in the past four days, Reporters Without Borders says.

Mohanad al-Akidi, the correspondent for the Sada news agency in the IS-held northern Iraqi city of Mosul, was shot dead at the Ghazlani base on Monday.

Mr Akidi was abducted in July while he travelled to Dohuk province.

On Friday Raad Mohamed al-Azzawi, a cameraman for Sama Salah Aldeen TV, was beheaded by IS militants in the city of Samarra. He had been held for a month.

Reporters Without Borders, which promotes and defends world media freedom, said it was “horrified by the jihadist group’s constant crimes of violence”.

“Islamic State is pursuing a policy of indiscriminate criminal violence that shows no pity towards journalists and does not hesitate to kidnap, torture and murder them,” said its programme director, Lucie Morillon.

“Media personnel need the support and protection of the local authorities more than ever,” she added….”

Yemen Houthi rebels capture Red Sea port of Hodeida (BBC, Oct 14, 2014)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-29611677

“Yemeni Shia rebels are reported to have captured the strategically important city of Hodeida on the Red Sea coast.

Reports say the rebels, known as Houthis, met little opposition as they swept through the city, taking over its air and sea ports.

Hodeida is Yemen’s second biggest port after Aden and a key source of supplies for the country’s capital, Sanaa.

The Houthis’ rapid advance comes a day after the appointment of a new prime minister, who is backed by the rebels.

Khalid Bahah, a former oil minister and Yemeni envoy to the UN, is viewed as a technocratic figure.

His appointment by President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi was welcomed by the Houthis, who brought down the previous government last month and hope Mr Bahah will help end political turmoil.

He is expected to form a government in the coming weeks….”

Blair calls for global lessons in religious respect (BBC, Oct 15, 2014)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/education-29616972

“Tony Blair wants a global drive to tackle the roots of extremism by making education systems in all countries teach respect for other religions.

He says it is “foolish” to spend billions on a military fight against Islamic extremism, while leaving religious intolerance “undisturbed”.

As a matter of “urgent global importance”, he wants schools to teach “the virtue of religious respect”.

This should be made a “common global obligation”, says Mr Blair.

The former UK prime minister, in an article written for the BBC News Knowledge Economy series, says that the struggle against the so-called Islamic State and the threat of terrorism needed to engage in the battle of ideas.

“All the security measures and all the fighting will count for nothing,” he says, unless the intolerant ideas that feed into extremist violence are challenged….”
