Stockwell Day does social media post about Covid and Vaxx damage

Yes it’s early, but I am bewildered a little by this post.

For those that don’t know, and that is nearly everyone, Stockwell Day was the leader of the Canadian Alliance (the successor to the Reform Party) in the early 2000s.
Decades ago, when the old Progressive Conservative Party was pretty useless on issues of individual rights, the Reform Party under Preston Manning did very well and came within a seat or so of becoming the Official Opposition to the Liberal government.
In 1995 there was a by-election in Ottawa—Vanier (and further by-elections in 1996) that could have helped Reform overtake the Bloc Québécois for Official Opposition status. I remember this clearly because it was the only time in my life I went door-knocking for a political party.
The goal was to get the BQ out of Official Opposition.  In 2000 the Reform Party became the Canadian Alliance. Stockwell Day won the leadership contest that year and, after the November 2000 election, became Leader of the Official Opposition. (A separatist party that I have a lot more sympathy with today than I did then.)

I remember all this because it was the only time in my life I went door knocking for a political party. The idea was to get the BQ out of official opposition status, which is a position that affords some political power. Although to be fair, the BQ actually did a decent job as opposition, even on federal issues. Everyone had expected them to just winge about Quebec and French language and speakers rights, but they actually did a decent job.

This is also when I began to question what people think of as “democracy”. Canvasing in Vanier, a then French part of the city of Ottawa, got me a nearly uniform answer from every door that opened.

“My Gran-fader voted Liberal, my Fader voted Liberal, and I vote Liberal”.

It was as if I had asked them to support a different hockey team. None of them cared that an actual separatist party was the opposition and their vote for Reform could have set the federal project back on the rails. It was purely a matter of family tradition. And suddenly I understood, to a small degree, why a Constitutional Republic was the only hope for a free people.

In 2000, the Conservative Party merged with Reform creating the Canadian Alliance, and Stockwell Day won the leadership contest and became official Opposition leader that same year.

Ok that is enough about who Day is. Since then I have seen him appear very rarely on some issues. But recently he has popped up a couple of times. Here he is on the state’s Covid response:

People much more sophisticated than I on matters of Canadian politics tell me this is an important thing. This candid questioning of the blatant totalitarian measures may represent a milestone in the journey to truth and a restoration of liberty in Canada.

Our cynical suspicion is that it is, or will result in a steam kettle mitigation. This is a personal expression of ours. We see the state treating the public as if the state was a stovetop and the people a steam kettle. You create as much heat as you can under it, and when the pressure of the horrors the state is inflicting on the public gets so high the people might actually do something potentially effective, like the Freedom Convoy, they allow the kettle to whistle a little till the pressure goes back down to something which is no threat to the state agenda of the total deracination of Canada as it always had been.

We interviewed the doctor Day mentions in this Tweet back in 2023 as part of a series of doctors and scientists we interviewed back then. Dr. Hoffe was a serious scientist who had his own lab at home, which mysteriously burned down shortly after he went public with what damages he saw from the mRNA shots, who blew the whistle on the stunning percentage of serious injuries and deaths that his patients, and who happened to be Amer-Indians, which he treated.

The case of Dr. Hoffe tells us many things. One of which as a partial aside, is that the state, which calls itself the Government of Canada, does not give the 24 hours-post consumption end-product of a Beef Vindaloo about the Amer-Indian peoples of Canada, but does find them politically expedient quite often when the state wishes to launch a narrative attack against individual rights of all Canadians. When Hoffe came forward with the damages the shots did to Canadians, Amer-Indian or not, he was silenced using measures that are pretty clearly defacto totalitarian and thuggish along with all the machinations of ‘Cancel Culture’ that the communists used at that stage of the revolution. At that point, defying a state narrative was indeed punished harshly, but using extra-legal means like sending ANTIFA to hurt you in one way or another, destroying your professional reputation with media driven-whisper campaigns, mass media attacks on them and of course, they had achieved full institutional capture of the various colleges and professional organizations which held doctor’s your licence over their heads like a Sword of Damocles.

I hope my friends are right though. Stockwell Day’s strong statements may reflect a changing political climate or lead to real remedies.

Days’ statement in that Tweet at least reflect major components of the truth of the Communist Revolution which is usually referred to as T”he Covid Years”. And during which, MANY changes were enacted under the radar of transparent Parliamentary procedures. The Carney-Trudeau led state at that time passed the Canadian equivalent of executive orders, except they aren’t really supposed to have those powers, along with a Privy Council that is really just a stamp of approval, enacted a major expansion of the prohibited-firearms category, affecting large numbers of law-abiding Canadian gun owners, (That case is about to be taken to the Supreme Court by a self rep. We will have a lot more on that coming up)

  • May 2020 (early COVID): Order-in-Council banned ~1,500 “assault-style” firearms.
  • 2022: national freeze on handgun sales/transfers.

Other rights where altered, lessened or removed during this period, the details of which slip memory at the moment. But in any case, what is needed is a counter-revolution. What we might get, is a partial admission that some things where not done right, but it was understandable given the circumstances, (circumstance which of course, were 100% manufactured by the state itself) and maybe the state will print up bunch of money and give it to select victims such that the costs of covid and vaxx damage will be borne by the same people who are damaged by them. Inflation will make food more expensive for all Canadians, but the vaxx damaged might enjoy a new flatscreen TV.

In our opinion, a real remedy would be gutting the wealth of high level bureaucrats and politicians who it can be demonstrated, knew for a fact that the shots were unsafe, the lockdowns were not necessary, and all other measures were theatre like masks. The 1.4B$ that the CBC gets every year should be immediately stopped and high level executives at that network should be personally sued with full public disclosure for their role as propagandists instead of their fiduciary duty to actually oppose power and inform the public with at least 2 sides of the story. Which they not only did not do, but used their massive powers to ridicule, damage or ignore genuinely expert scientists who warned against all aspects of the measures deployed against the Canadian peoples at that time. And there were many of them.

And frankly, no solution that does not include a hard and fast law at the constitutional level guaranteeing the rights of Canadians to never have the state have this much power has any value at all. If the state can run roughshod over all of its people for as long as it wants, abusing the massive powers it has taken over the years, and then print a few bucks years later while being even better positioned to do it agin, it wasn’t a solution. It was part of the problem.
