Reader’s Links for May 20th, 2026

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

**New intelligence suggests a specific course of action concerning use of Substack. For a variety of reasons, who owns it, and who owns the ONLY company that monetizes authors on Substack, the question for us has always been, ‘Why is Substack allowed to exist?” I believe the answer is now known to us. It collects data on you and who you are connected to. Substack does have the best writers out there for counter-narrative views, and does allow the authors to make money at it. Which is suspicious already. But the reasons were made known to us by a Cyber-security professional. The solution seems to be to use a dedicated browser, ONLY for substack. There are many good ones out there now. So downloading another browser is easy. Get the DuckduckGo go one, or Brave or one of many others and use it ONLY for substack and clear cookies after use. Like washing your plate after you eat.

For those interested, please check out https://vladtepesblog.substack.com/ as an another avenue of expression. The Substack is a different project in a sense. It is older videos that in the light of subsequent events, look different or of increased importance, Check it out now and again if you like. But use it safely.

ADDENDUM:

This site operates more at the philosophical level of the communist/Islamic revolution which is obliterating Western Civilization. Politics, culture, law are all down stream from philosophy. Understanding the philosophy of the attack is to understand what is an attack and develop tactics, both individually and collectively against them. The attack comes entirely (so far) in the form of Dialectics. To understand dialectics, watch and read everything you can by Maj. (Ret.) Stephen Coughlin.

Here is a repost of the simplest explanation, or at least the shortest one, we have been able to think of so far (Placed here by request)

We as humans communicate mostly via conventions. In other words, we decide what a word means by what we, as a culture want it to mean, then fix the term as a convention via a dictionary

or other means so we can express what we want to each other and be understood. It’s a group process more or less but based on what we want expressions, words, concepts and taxonomy to mean.

Dialectics is the imposition of meaning on existing terms for a political outcome which is destructive to what we all consider meaning. It is a complete hijacking of Meaning.

This also applies to taxonomy. The most underrated aspect of epistemology. Of how we see ourselves. Of how we understand the world, via categories. Via labels.

Dialectical taxonomy is what forces us to change everything we think about sexuality and accept political sexuality such as the Trans-movement.

Or somehow convincing everyone that the German National Socialist Worker’s Party is somehow “far right wing”, which may be the most masterful dialectical con of the 20th century.

This deserves a proper essay. But I just want to get the thought out there.

Imposing, forcing meaning on us. Changing terms to mean what a group of tyrants what us to think they mean as opposed to what they do mean and more or less always have meant.

Making words mean something other than what we meant them to mean, then banning or criminalizing them because of their imputed meaning, even though they were good, useful terms that helped hold our culture together.

Attacking us for using perfectly good words with important meanings, then telling us what we meant by what we said, then cancelling us for it in the pre-revolutionary stage, and now in the UK outright arrest you now that the revolution is all but complete.

That is dialectics.

  1. Why does no one remember or speak of this activist who, by the way, was Jewish. This a relevant point given the war with Iran.

Don’t shoot the messenger! The current most dramatic development affecting the middle classes of every western nation is the sovereign debt crisis. Few are paying attention. Few realize the catastrophic impact about to hit with inflation and unemployment. Have governments incorporated the causal impact of higher unemployment on suicide rates–particularly of men who attach self-worth to work more than do women? I think not.

Sovereign debt–government bonds–are spiking in their yields. This portends, according to the son of the man I have posted above, an economic collapse greater than the Great Depression. How is this possible? Because the debt can has been kicked down the road for so long we are now out of road. The last time we faced such an enormous cliff was 1980 when U.S. debt to GDP was 30%. It is now 130%.

Peter Schiff is mad as hell. Given his pedigree he is hardly a traitor. He has a very healthy hatred for government and socialism. Traitorous behavior is that which aligns with the status quo, staying silent during times when answers must be had from authority. Schiff has criticized government his whole career. He calls it as he sees it, and from his Austrian perch is almost always correct.

You may not like what he has to say, but his calculus is consistently right in economics terms. Yes, he may be missing the geopolitical necessity of pounding Iran into the stone age, but he just knows the numbers that he sees. Again, don’t shoot the messenger.

  2. How does closing the Straight of Hormuz not align with the stated agenda of the Club of Rome in terms of restricting food and energy? How do the effects of this action not align with Fabian socialism? I think we have come to the point where we cannot afford to not ask such questions:

On Pierre Trudeau, the Club of Rome, collectivism, Maoist mass lines against Canadians, and no future now.:

    • The communist threat on the South is being removed so the Commies are trying to install one to the North.

  3. Syrian terrorist Malek Fostok (slashed several people in the Hague, the Netherlands in ’18) strikes again:

Forensic psychiatric patient admits stabbing but denies “kill all Jews” statement
    https://nltimes.nl/2026/05/19/forensic-psychiatric-patient-admits-stabbing-denies-kill-jews-statement
A forensic psychiatric patient on trial for stabbing a Jewish patient in Groningen last year confessed to the crime, but denied in court that he wants all Jews to be killed. Malek F., 39, has been undergoing compulsory treatment for schizophrenia at a TBS clinic after stabbing three people at a train station in The Hague in 2018. F. claims he heard voices in his head commanding him to carry out the violent crime in 2025, and prosecutors believe he was suffering from a psychotic episode and should no longer face charges of attempted murder with terrorist intent.
The victim was attacked from behind on the sports field and fell to the ground, after which F. stabbed him several times with a shard of a plate. F. acknowledged that he shouted “Allahu akbar” during the assault. The victim claims in his statement that F. also shouted “all Jews must die,” a claim F. firmly denies. The prosecutor explained that this alone is not enough to establish a terrorist motive.
In court, F. repeatedly referred to the victim as a “bad person,” partly because the victim allegedly insulted the Prophet in conversations with him. “I did not stab him because he is a bad person or because he is Jewish, but because I was hearing voices in my head,” he said.
In 2021, the appellate court imposed TBS with compulsory treatment on F. for stabbing three people at Hollands Spoor station in The Hague on 5 May 2018. The court ruled that there was no terrorist motive and cleared him of that allegation. It concluded that he had acted during a psychosis linked to schizophrenia.

  4. Iraqi suspect in Dutch Jewish site attacks linked by experts to Iranian regime
    https://nltimes.nl/2026/05/17/iraqi-suspect-dutch-jewish-site-attacks-linked-experts-iranian-regime
An Iraqi man accused of coordinating attacks on Jewish targets across Europe, including several incidents in the Netherlands, was likely acting under direction from the Iranian regime, according to terrorism experts interviewed by NOS. The suspect is also linked to U.S. proceedings and is currently in U.S. custody.
The suspect, identified as Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood al-Saadi, is accused of orchestrating multiple explosions and an arson attack in the Netherlands. Those alleged attacks include explosions at a Jewish school in Amsterdam and a synagogue in Rotterdam. There was an arson attempt at the American bank in Amsterdam and an attempted arson at the building of the organization Christians for Israel in Nijkerk.

  5. UPDATE: Modena Car-Ramming Attacker Sent Violent Anti-Christian Emails Years Before Attack — ‘I’ll Burn Jesus on the Cross’
    https://rairfoundation.com/update-modena-car-ramming-attacker-sent-violent-anti/
MODENA, Italy — New revelations show that Salim El Koudri, the 31-year-old man who deliberately drove his car into pedestrians in central Modena on May 16, 2026, had expressed extreme anti-Christian hatred years before the attack.
According to documents obtained by Italian newspaper Il Tempo, in April 2021, El Koudri sent a series of angry emails to the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. In one particularly violent message, he wrote:
“Bastardi cristiani di merda, voi e il vostro Gesù Cristo in croce lo brucio” (“You Christian bastards, you and your Jesus Christ on the cross, I’ll burn him.”)
The emails began with demands for a better job position (he wanted office work instead of warehouse duties) and quickly escalated into open insults against Christians and Jesus Christ.
This new evidence directly challenges the narrative pushed by some authorities and media that El Koudri was simply a “mentally ill lone wolf” with no ideological motive. The combination of a deliberate vehicle ramming, followed by a knife attack on civilians who tried to stop him, now appears alongside documented anti-Christian animus from years earlier.
    Context:
On May 16, El Koudri plowed his car at high speed into a group of pedestrians, injuring eight people (four critically).
After crashing, he exited the vehicle and stabbed at least one man before being subdued by brave citizens.
Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni publicly thanked the civilians who stopped the attacker.
The emergence of these 2021 emails raises serious questions about how much was known about El Koudri’s mindset and whether authorities properly assessed the risk he posed.

  6. Islamabad court hands death sentence to convict in Sana Yousaf murder case
    https://www.dawn.com/news/2001506
An Islamabad sessions court sentenced Umar Hayat, the main accused in the Sana Yousaf murder case, to death on Tuesday after finding him guilty of killing the teenage TikTok influencer at her residence in June last year.
Hayat was arrested a day after 17-year-old Yousaf was shot dead in her Islamabad house on June 2, 2025. On Monday, 23-year-old Hayat — son of a retired government official and a TikToker himself — retracted his earlier confessional statement admitting to Yousaf’s murder.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka announced the verdict on Tuesday, handing Hayat the death sentence under Section 302(b) of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) for committing qatl-i-amd (intentional murder) of Yousaf.
The death sentence would be subject to confirmation by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) under Section 374 (sentence of death to be submitted by court of session) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC).
    [..]
He had admitted to developing a one-sided obsession with Yousaf after online interactions, and said jealousy and suspicion drove him to commit the crime.
According to the statement, Hayat had travelled from Jaranwala to Islamabad on May 28 to wish Yousaf on her birthday. When she did not meet him, he became convinced she was deliberately avoiding him. He added that on June 2, he returned to the capital after renting a Toyota Fortuner and carrying a 30-bore pistol, intending to confront her.

    The perils of saying ‘no’
‘No’ is more than a complete sentence, for women, it is a complex syntax that has been perfected by navigating a complicated web — body language, tone, eye contact, walk, clothes, and even a smile.
    https://www.dawn.com/news/1915581/the-perils-of-saying-no
She had only just turned 17, an occasion she celebrated with 800,000 followers on TikTok and 500,000 followers on Instagram. Her social media feed — featuring quirky, funny and optimistic content — was akin to that of any other teenager marking life’s small achievements.
But for Sana Yousaf, a bubbly girl from Chitral, this small milestone became her last. She was shot dead in Islamabad by Omar Hayat, 22, for saying ‘no’. The inspector-general of the capital police, at a press conference, classified the murder case as one of “repeated rejection”.
Hayat had called her, followed her, and stalked her while Sana repeatedly said ‘no’. To him, not being able to possess her meant she didn’t deserve to live. Unfortunately, in our society, this is a frighteningly common tale. A man looking at a woman — in this case, a teenager — across a crowded room, driving a car, at school or online, and deciding all by himself that she belongs to him.
Whether or not the girl is made aware of this proprietorship is irrelevant. But whenever she is made aware, she must accept the terms. If she refuses, he threatens to either kill himself or, in most cases, such as that of Sana’s, kill her. Just like toddlers break their toys when someone threatens to take them away, men break women.

The Metropolitan Police is investigating alleged hate crimes at both major protests in London as officers are still searching for seven suspects from the pro-Palestine Nakba Day rally.
About 60,000 people are estimated to have joined Tommy Robinson’s Unite the Kingdom march on Saturday, and between 15,000 and 20,000 attended the Nakba Day rally, the Met Police said.

  8. The Mossad: Satirical and Awesome @TheMossadIL

My very boring solution to flotilla activists:

    1. Stop turning them into the main characters of a global Netflix special.
    2. Enforce the blockade professionally.
    3. Seize the boats.
    4. Bill them and their governments for wasting everyone’s time and resources.

The story they tell afterward should not be: “OMG we survived Israeli oppression”

It should be: “Nothing happened, nobody cared, and now I owe Israel €462,000.”

    You are not freedom fighters.
You are not breaking the Siege of Stalingrad.
You are attempting to violate a legal naval blockade during wartime to aid territory controlled by an internationally recognized terror organization.

This is not a free PR cruise with bonus orgies and complimentary deportation flights home. And no you don’t get a sandwich.
