Charting where the slide to totalitarian communism is, and isn’t: Links post 1 for March 19, 2026

Before we get into a list of events and some attempt to interpret them through a reality or predictive filter, there is a clip that is going viral of a woman screaming at police at her door. It has been sent by a few people and showed up in my Twitter feed. I elected not to mention it yesterday because there is something so very wrong with it. But now that it is as viral as it is, something probably should be said.

First of all, if the woman did in fact make an actual threat of harm to someone, anyone, and that includes the PM then the police should show up at their door and ask a few questions. This isn’t even about the new Canada. If a person in the 1970s screamed at an audience in a public park that they meant to do harm to someone, a public figure or an ex husband, then the police should probably do a threat assessment. And for those that disagree, then the point remains that they always would have done so.

The woman never lets the police answer her questions. It is as if she wanted to make a viral social media video, rather than she has any kind of real point here. The police appear pretty reasonable when they are allowed to speak by her and attempt to show the post of concern of hers, which she prevents them from doing. So this simply cannot be compared to the UK at this point where making a factual statement about men not being women merely by chanting an incantation, can get you actually arrested and police entering your home without permission.

I mean, I get her anger, but twice she called him “our Zionist Prime Minister”, which she is perfectly entitled to say. But hazarding a guess here, those who use that kind of language are also likely to actually use threats of harm. Of course, we don’t know because she never let them show her the post in question, so we are forced to speculate. And truth be told, if this is the state of Canada, it ain’t actually that bad at the moment. At least until the current tranche of communist bills are passed like C-9 and C-22 as well as a lot of others. Also they will likely have to replace police who were raised in a free society and understand individualism. But the have the people now to do that. So that might not be long if Canadians don’t start getting involved with the process other than the leftists who do get involved.

1. California mom has child taken because she will not go along with state narrative on sex and gender. This does in fact happen in Canada a lot. Bill C-4 makes it legal. Bill C-9 will make the above issue legal as well most likely.

2. Sweden: Arab charged after attempting to bite and gouge out eyes of male doctor for working with his wife

The doctor also suffered bite wounds that later became infected.

A 36-year-old Lebanese man in Malmö has been charged with two counts of assault after allegedly attacking both his wife and a doctor at the health center where she works as a nurse.

According to prosecutors, cited by the Samnytt news outlet, the woman sought treatment at her own workplace in early December after suffering a head injury that required stitches in an alleged assault by her husband, 36-year-old Salaheddine Hamze. Colleagues became concerned when she arrived bleeding and in shock, although she initially denied that her husband was at fault. Investigators later concluded she had been struck with an object at home.

Roughly two weeks later, the man allegedly entered the same clinic and violently attacked a male doctor, reportedly over suspicions about his wife working with male colleagues. Witnesses told police the attacker punched and headbutted the doctor, wrestled him to the ground, bit him, and tried to force his fingers into the victim’s eyes. The doctor suffered bite wounds that later became infected, along with facial injuries.

During the incident, the suspect is alleged to have told his wife, “Wait until we get home,” as staff intervened. Police arrested him outside the clinic shortly afterward.

3. More on how the Trans-narrative, an intersectional line of attack against human sexual dimorphism, in other words, the objective and subjective differences between men and woman is being used to destroy civilization by destroying women.

A couple of more examples in case the few hundred on this site and the thousands on X are not enough to make the case:

Transgender Virginia teacher posts rainbow ‘gun’ pointed at person’s head, demands pronouns be ‘put back in the email’

Justin Trudeau’s government awards MEDAL to ‘champion of diversity’ trans activist who got Canada’s oldest rape shelter defunded for refusing to house transgender women

transgender activist who had city funding stripped from Canada‘s oldest rape shelter has been awarded a medal as a ‘champion of diversity’.

Morgane Oger, a transgender woman, was given a Meritorious Service Medal by Canadian Governor-General Mary Simon on December 7.

Official photos show her receiving the award alongside dozens of other Canadians honored for their ‘exceptional deeds’.

Very hard to see at this point, how 4th wave feminism, AKA Gender theory, is not actually an attack on women.

4. Exposing migrant and leftist fraud in California. No wonder Nick Shirley won a journalism award at Mar a Lago.

5. Carney signed deal with CHICOM dept. that ran secret police stations that keep track of the Chinese Diaspora in Canada

Thank you for checking king out this site.

Now this is fun.

Although frankly I think this was the moment no one should have listened to her advice on anything whatsoever, ever again. This was probably one of the most arrogant and condescending speeches of all time. Not to mention she claims to represent God.

  1. What stands out in discussions like this is how complex the idea of “sliding toward” any system really is. Political and economic shifts rarely follow a straight line, and they are often influenced by a mix of policy decisions, social pressures, and economic conditions rather than a single ideology.

It also feels like labeling trends too early can sometimes oversimplify what are actually more nuanced changes happening within institutions and governance structures. History shows that systems tend to evolve gradually, with overlapping characteristics rather than clear-cut transitions.

In that sense, the more interesting question may be how societies balance control, freedom, and economic priorities over time, rather than whether they are moving toward one specific model.

Curious how others here interpret these trends—do they see a clear directional shift, or more of a gradual and mixed evolution?

  2. Most everybody I knew in NYC left. Covid lockdown tyranny became a means of discriminatory selective enforcement. De Blasio/Cuomo was the last straw. It seemed like a reprise of the Tribe’s cholera experience in NYC in the 1890s.

A Hungarian-American violinist friend is unable to leave – can’t take the entire symphony orchestra with him. Poor thing, he’s now just one long lament.

      • These days I’m mostly a recluse.
Curled up in front of my screen, watching yet another war.

Years ago I had to camp out at neighbors’ to watch war on TV because we didn’t have one. Scuds, CNN, that little guy with a beard (his name?).

The summer of 2006 was different. A huge Sunday protest in Wash D.C. I didn’t hear about it till after shabbat. Called everywhere till I got a ride in a nice limo. They were VIPs, had seats for the event in a reserved section up front. Very, very VIPs addressed the crowd.

Maybe three-quarters of the crowd were Christians who had traveled from faraway states in yellow school buses. Serious-looking men walked around, talking to their lapels.

It was hot. I fainted. Almost instantly I was on an IV, rehydrated, no fuss, back to listening to speeches.

  4. People who I know who have left — it’s not just a family. It’s grandparents, aunts, uncles, students, teachers, college kids. Someone needs to check that their NYC voter registrations have been cancelled! What will Florida do with this influx of capital– probably trust the peoole who earned it to spend it well.

    • You’re right: not just families.
I wish I could put a number on how many left.
      A lot!

      – I knew indirectly of low-income, observant families with many kids (plus babushkas), crammed together in tiny apts. Terrible.

Some super-wealthy people here helped them leave, set up in a better place. The donors never made these good deeds public, the recipients never knew who exactly had helped them. Maimonides would have given them a high score.

  5. First time I saw Hochul telling people to come back and pay for her failed state policies, I thought it was AI Fake. No way she is that stupid.
Left NYS long before her because I wanted to climb up, not be kept down.
