Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

**New intelligence suggests a specific course of action concerning use of Substack. For a variety of reasons, who owns it, and who owns the ONLY company that monetizes authors on Substack, the question for us has always been, ‘Why is Substack allowed to exist?” I believe the answer is now known to us. It collects data on you and who you are connected to. Substack does have the best writers out there for counter-narrative views, and does allow the authors to make money at it. Which is suspicious already. But the reasons were made known to us by a Cyber-security professional. The solution seems to be to use a dedicated browser, ONLY for substack. There are many good ones out there now. So downloading another browser is easy. Get the DuckduckGo go one, or Brave or one of many others and use it ONLY for substack and clear cookies after use. Like washing your plate after you eat.

For those interested, please check out https://vladtepesblog.substack.com/ as an another avenue of expression. The Substack is a different project in a sense. It is older videos that in the light of subsequent events, look different or of increased importance, Check it out now and again if you like. But use it safely.

    “So context matters. The infrastructure of the zoo–the barriers and the zoo keepers and the glass all make you feel safe.”

    “My point is that the zoo is a jungle made civilized because of the infrastructure built to house the dangerous animals.”

    “At the zoo you get the luxury of enjoying these animals without the threat to you life. They become entertainment.”

    “So why did you vote for Trudeau? And would you vote for Carney?”
    “I voted for Trudeau because I liked what he said at the time, and yes, I probably will vote for Carney.”

    “What should terrify you is having zoo keepers in charge who open up all of the gates to let out all of the dangerous animals, and remove all of the signs that say ‘DANGER’, or ‘KEEP OUT’, or ‘DON’T FEED THE BEARS.”

    I’m sorry, but think it will be like the plandemic with shutdowns and restrictions, only this time it will be driven by shortages in food, fuel, medicine–you name it. Sorry to sound so pessimistic, but market behavior suggest this reality is coming. And I’ve never wanted to be more wrong.

    Private credit markets are seizing, supply-chain disruptions are taking shape because of the war, and higher inflation will result. Foreigners are avoiding buying more U.S. debt, which will force the U.S. to print money to buy its own debt in order to suppress interest rates, which is required in order to service the debt. It’s nasty, and getting nastier.

    They may tell us only certain licence plates can travel on a given day to save fuel. Or only essential services can operate. Like I say I hope I’m wrong. Who knows what a majority Carney government will come up with.

    • It is nasty, the lefts decades of dreaming that they can control the economy are coming to an end. The entire world is about to suffer because Keynes ego was so big he thought he could control everything. We are seeing that he was wrong and are going to suffer for the delusions of the left

  7. Four arrested for Rotterdam synagogue arson; Suspects caught near another synagogue

    The police arrested four suspects for an explosion and fire at a synagogue on A.B.N. Davidsplein in Rotterdam early Friday morning. The suspects were caught near another synagogue, the police reported.
    The arson on A.B.N. Davidsplein occurred around 3:40 a.m. The police checked camera footage and searched the area. They also monitored other synagogues in the area to prevent any further incidents.
    At one of these synagogues, patrolling officers noticed a vehicle behaving strangely. The officers decided to check the car. One of the four people inside matched the description the police had of one of the perpetrators in the A.B.N. Davidsplein explosion. The police arrested all four suspects: two 19-year-old men, an 18-year-old man, and a 17-year-old boy.
    According to the police, it is not yet clear whether the suspects had plans to set fire to another synagogue. The investigation is ongoing.
    Minister David van Weel of Justice and Security called the arson “terrible news” and said it was “very likely that this is an anti-Semitic-driven incident. He spoke of “intimidation and violence against the Jewish community.”
    Rotterdam mayor Carola Schouten expressed support for the city’s Jewish community. The incident sparked “a lot of feelings of fear among our Jewish fellow citizens,” she said. “We will continue to closely monitor safety around the synagogues.”
    Footage of the fire has been circulating on social media. Broadcaster NOS verified the video. The account sharing the images previously also posted a video of an explosion at a synagogue in Liège, Belgium. The poster claims that the same Iran-backed Iraqi group is behind both attacks, but this has not been verified.
    The police are including the footage in their investigation.
    Chris den Hoedt, the chairman of the synagogue, told NOS that this was a “targeted attack on a Dutch religious community.” He said that the explosion and fire did not do a lot of damage to the building. “But it’s primarily the emotional impact. It is the prelude to what we have been seeing for two years: increasing anti-Semitism. And the fact that little is being done about it.”

    As yet unidentified perpetrators started a fire at the synagogue on A.B.N. Davidsplein in Rotterdam during the early hours of Friday morning, the police reported. The fire went out by itself, and no one got hurt.
    The arson happened at around 3:40 a.m., the police said on X. Records show a call to the fire brigade at 3:42 a.m. reporting a smell of smoke.
    Footage is circulating on social media showing something burning in front of the synagogue’s entrance, followed by an explosion. It is unclear whether the footage is authentic.
    There are also reports on social media that the arson was claimed by Ashab al-Yamin, the same group that also attacked a synagogue in Liege, Belgium, this week.
    The police are investigating.
