Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

**New intelligence suggests a specific course of action concerning use of Substack. For a variety of reasons, who owns it, and who owns the ONLY company that monetizes authors on Substack, the question for us has always been, ‘Why is Substack allowed to exist?” I believe the answer is now known to us. It collects data on you and who you are connected to. Substack does have the best writers out there for counter-narrative views, and does allow the authors to make money at it. Which is suspicious already. But the reasons were made known to us by a Cyber-security professional. The solution seems to be to use a dedicated browser, ONLY for substack. There are many good ones out there now. So downloading another browser is easy. Get the DuckduckGo go one, or Brave or one of many others and use it ONLY for substack and clear cookies after use. Like washing your plate after you eat.

It is older videos that in the light of subsequent events, look different or of increased importance, Check it out now and again if you like. But use it safely.

  1. Yesterday, the Chicago Commodities Exchange (COMEX) halted trading mid-day for an hour and a half in silver, gold and natural gas. At that time silver was approaching $92/oz. During this period 34,000 paper silver contracts, representing 170 million ounces, were settled. The speculation is that this gave some very large speculator(s) a chance to settle their short bets before they blew up.

    A similar halt took place this past Thanksgiving. This was blamed on the failure of a computer cooling unit as the silver price was going up, again. Following both stoppages the silver price plummeted, and the automatic stop-loss mechanism designed to save the market from precipitous falls failed. The latest event takes place before Friday, February 27th when traders are obligated to declare their intentions to take physical delivery, or not, when their futures contracts come due in March. March is historically the largest month for physical delivery.

    There currently is a proven massive shortage of deliverable 1,000-ounce silver bars. This is the official physical form required by commodities exchanges in which to transact. These bars are the backbone of the futures market. Without them there is no futures market. And make no mistake, it is the futures market on which all commodities derivatives are comprised. This means wheat, soybeans, pork bellies, uranium, iron, potash–everything real–will fall into chaos if just a single commodities market suffers a “FAILURE TO DELIVER”. In other words, a market player could not be convinced to take a cash settlement over the actual physical, and the result is a contract default. Such an event would cause a systemic contagion to happen across the speculative paper market, which cripples the price discovery mechanism. In other words this suggests that proper price discovery represents an existential threat to someone or some thing.

    Market watchers look on with suspicion, disgust, cry of foul, and rightly so. Devoid of price discovery there is only central planning. No central planner can control a complex system for long. Ask your doctor if he agrees.

    To prove a point let’s look at a logical extreme, but in the inverse. Since 1913, when the Federal Reserve was created, the USD has lost about 96% of its purchasing power. Had this collectivist, central-planning authority been omniscient and omnipotent this depreciation would not have happened. What are we to think will happen to the remaining 4% of utility of this fiat currency? Market watchers want to know, but have a pretty good idea given that history shows that world reserve currencies average a lifespan of 92 years.

    Protecting the USD is understandable. Suppressing price discovery of silver is to snuff the fuse of the bomb that is gold. What is the average man to trust, but the bird in the hand.

    • A historical perspective on what your labor is worth. After all, is this not the most important thing? The value of your daily sweat, toil, and ability to save what energy is surplus to what is required to keep you alive, truly matters. This is one criteria of money: to save your labor in a currency that does not dilute, diminish or devalue. Otherwise a lifetime of work, beyond what that work created, cannot be saved in in any substantive manner by the coin of the realm. According to JE Dyer (https://theoptimisticconservative.wordpress.com/2026/02/24/carrier-shuffle-info-op-meets-iran-problem/#more-10891) the US is pulling some kind of military shuffle over in the Middle East. She is also saying to according to the assets we are moving into place we are going to a several week or several month bombing campaign with the4 possibility of some ground raids by Special Operators. She also says that she is not ruling out the US supplying weapons to the Iranian people.

    Good we can’t keep kicking the Iranian nuclear quest down the road for some future administration to solve, if/when the Iranians get nuclear weapons they will (probably) use them against Israel and the US. When people keep telling you that they are going to kill you it is advisable to believe them.
