Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

  1. Nice to see when proper terms are applied.

    I have not watched Carney’s whole speech at Davos. This is partly because of the strange syndrome that afflicted me while watching Trudeau, which I will coin “CCINS”, or, Chinese Communist-Inflicted Nausea Syndrome”. Canadian msm portrays the speech as “strong”.

    Carney presents to me in his speech not as a strong, resolved leader, but as a mean despotic psychopath presenting his historical pivot away from the American bosom, into open Red Chinese arms. His new, painfully slow presentation is more akin to Chief Dan George (“It is a good day to die.”) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEMpFsFPhJ8

    Indeed, I wonder if the Canadian multi-culti identity is quite fluid enough to digest this monumental declaration of a New World Order for what it is, which is counter to American interests. I doubt it. For left uncoded is to leave Canadians without the realization that their once-great country is entering the Red-Asian sphere of control without a shot yet fired.

    • Here is an analysis of Carney’s Davos speech. One thing that remains clear is that evasive, slippery talking methods can only mean evasive, slippery intentions. References such as “new realities” are followed not by listings of what these realities are in layman’s terms, but more delicate, acrobatic doublespeak. He is very intentionally speaking not to the people in the street but to the people in the room who are are versed in their own language.

    • I’ve been wondering for some time if Carney was malicious or simply stupid.
      Now I know. He’s malicious.
      Malicious people think only of satisfying themselves.

      It opens with a long ramble of domestic economic successes that are generally exaggerated.

    • I fully expected Trump to say God stopped at the White House and asked him to help save the world because God was frustrated and needed advice.

      • And the mindless among the MAGA would be saying Amen.

        A self-indulgent imposition on the audience. The only reason I’m not embarrassed is because I don’t respect them either.

      • Yes what you did was amazing, but the basic research was done by the US under the Strategic Defense Initiative. I don’t say that to take anything away from Israel they took what had been done and carried it out to the very magnificent end that is the Golden Dome. After Obama stopped the research in the US I prayed that Israel would take over and finish what was started under President Reagan, The Dems resisted the efforts to build a missile defense system to the point of absurdity, They have always worked to ensure that the US can’t defend ourselves. Thank God that the very unfinished work was finished in Israel, they deserve all of the credit anyone wants to give to them.

  6. PUTIN and GREENLAND

    Putin does math:

    Regarding Greenland… well, this doesn’t concern us at all—what happens with Greenland.

    But we do have experience in resolving similar issues with the United States in the 19th century, I believe in 1867. As we know, Russia sold Alaska, and the United States bought it from us.

    If my memory serves me correctly, the area of Alaska is around 1,717,000 square kilometers—perhaps a bit more. And the United States bought Alaska from us for 7.2 million US dollars.

    In today’s prices, taking inflation into account over all these decades, that amount would be about 158 million dollars.

    The area of Greenland is somewhat larger—around 2,166,000 square kilometers, also perhaps a bit more. That’s a difference of roughly 450,000 square kilometers.

    So if you compare this with the cost of the United States’ purchase of Alaska, then the price of Greenland would be somewhere around 200 to 250 million dollars.

      • I never thought that Democracy would take hold in Iran, there is no history of Democracy and the people don’t have a tradition of deciding who will be their ruler. Trying to introduce any form of Democracy in Iran would have to start slow with an elected legislature that would make suggestions to the Shah or Council that rules the nation. It took several Centuries for Democracy to take hold in Britain, the rest of Europe took longer and even now many of the Europeans seem to have a desire to return to some form of a Feudal Government.
