  1. The Perseid meteor shower peaks about now. Don’t forget to make a wish if you see a shooting star. I shall wish for world peas and hope that God gets the quip. The meteor shower is a good metaphor to the bombardment of information we endure.

Asking for an ounce of solid honesty in a world under siege would not be a waste of a wish, either. It’s all about finding truth in the face of chaos. We need this as human beans. But truth abounds all around, in fact. I know it is raining truth because we are swamped by lies disguised as narratives. There is not one without the other.

Listening to a person recount their past is most believable, I find, because they make no attempt to tell me of a future they cannot possibly know. Yesterday I listened to an American visitor talk about his past. I asked him how is it that America can stand by and watch Canada fall while not doing something about it. He answered that they have their own big problems. Honest enough.

Talking to good outsiders is a necessary exercise. Too much rumination can lead to a self-inflicted rabbit hole in the head.

Recently I heard from some Canadian that the search for truth was an assault against gaining consensus. What is consensus?

“Consensus is defined by Merriam-Webster as, first, general agreement, and second, group solidarity of belief or sentiment. It has its origin in the Latin word c?ns?nsus (agreement), which is from c?nsenti? meaning literally feel together. It is used to describe both the decision and the process of reaching a decision.Mar 2, 2015…”

So the word “consensus” has become a dialectical round in the chamber. I know this is not a revelation to this bunch, but it never hurts to revisit the wonders of language when language, itself, has become so blatantly a military zone.

“Group solidarity?” It makes me want to pump my fist in the air for all the wrong reasons. Sometimes I sense great relief could be had if only I submitted to this Dialectical Man, man. The problem then becomes we don’t submit unless we believe, and we have learned that the State will not accept the formal resignation of dissenters from their own dissent unless they are thoroughly mentacided. In other words they must actually metabolize prybar truth a la Winston Smth.

If we bulldoze relativism into the ditch, we know that some people just don’t submit to bullshit. And I don’t mean bullsit on a vulgar, crude level, but rather on the highest plane, philosophy.

Frankfurt sounds like a product of our times.

Look up now and see how mysteries of the universe abound. Twenty percent of populations, as a constant, intuitively smell the nonsense. On an equally-mysterious plane Fibonacci numbers, or sequences, emerge continuously and forever (like meteor showers and life cycles).

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fibonacci_sequence

Pinching oneself while scouting for rabbit holes feels a bit like toweling off while I’m still in the tub. Rabbit holes are everywhere. They are sculpted wastes of time. Or by approximate definition:

    https://www.merriam-webster.com/medical/menticide

Mentacide killed Jews and Kulaks. Mentacide is killing Canada. Mentacide makes you think taking a Sunday drive is killing the planet, and that you see truth while looking at lies. Which in a way is what artists do, no? Storytellers. I think the world has most often looked at artists as sensitive weaklings. This may be our biggest mistake. Perhaps failed artists of epic order elevate their spite to power: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paintings_by_Adolf_Hitler

It is sometimes said that artists sense the future. Perhaps. More likely there are intuitives such as the twenty percenters, and then with an IQ boost there are artistic types like this who figure out how to actually construct the future: https://youtu.be/9Y8IpjlV2xU?si=Nw1potpAgbzSzAaI

Such men attain predictable outcomes from conditions they, themselves, create. Artistically, it amounts to rendering tangible outcomes by planting ideas into the soil.

The predator artist is more dangerous an animal than any military maniac. In jungle law he is king. He commoditizes events yet to come, oftentimes by having a keen understanding of language. What better example of creating tangible results from abstraction than the use of language? Language, in the artistic sense, is in every medium of expression, and is most powerfully manifested in subtext, but then this exception springs to mind:

“…the philosophy of Hegel, who held that every existent idea or fact belongs to an all-embracing mind in which each idea or situation (thesis) evokes its opposite (antithesis) and these two result in a unified whole (synthesis), which in turn becomes a new thesis.”

Ironically, this doesn’t have a subtextual bone in its body, which is its own diabolical beauty.

Here is an exquisite example of truth sparkling in a swamp of lies:

Don’t forget to make a wish.

    • Seeing the meteor shower is blessing enough. The Shehechiyanu is perfect for such experiences.

Blessed art thou, Lord our G-d, King of the Universe, who has kept us alive, sustained us, and brought us to this season.

“The Shehechiyanu blessing is said whenever we realizethe miracle of the present moment…

“Traditionally, it is recited when we do something for the first time that year…as well as at the start of most Jewish holidays.”

The traditional formulation of the blessing thanks God for three things: shehechiyanu (given us life), v’kiyimanu (sustained us), vihigiyanu laxman hazeh (allowed us to arrive at this moment). Implied in this blessing is a commitment to vitality, to sustained presence and awareness.”

  2. The right to own property is essential to individual freedom. If private property is banned by the state, an individual has no way to save the energy expended by his labour. This makes him simultaneously a slave, and property of the state.

This mortgage expert, shockingly, misses the whole point:

    https://youtu.be/pJrN0wekYy0?si=Y_zagpr2pX3z_eaA

Which brings us to the shocking ruling of the British Columbia Supreme Court which gives private property to Natives, which in turn will be stolen from the Natives because this is a stepping stone to owning nothing while being really fucking happy:

Again, the Marxist line of attack presents societal bludgeoning as high plastic morality. Is anyone’s property safe in Canada?

  4. WATCH: Jeanine Pirro GOES OFF on DC’s “Young Punks” and Soft on Crime Policies – Says It’s Time to “Go After the DC Council and Their Absurd Laws”

    United States Attorney Jeanine Pirro

United States Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro, on Monday, went off on the out-of-control crime in Washington, DC, and reaffirmed President Trump’s demand that the DC policies implemented by the City Council be changed federally.

President Trump held a press conference on Monday, where he announced that he is taking federal control over DC’s Metropolitan Police Department and authorizing the use of national guard troops to solve the “public safety emergency” in the nation’s capital.

“This city will no longer be a sanctuary for illegal alien criminals. We will have full, seamless, integrated cooperation at all levels of law enforcement, and we’ll deploy officers across the district with an overwhelming presence,” Trump said.

BREAKING: “This is Liberation Day in DC, and We’re Going to Take Our Capital Back” – President Trump Announces He is Invoking Section 740 of DC Home Act, Federalizing DC Police, and Sending in National Guard (VIDEO)

Trump also called on Republicans in Congress to change the statutes to get rid of no cash bail and “some of the other things” that empower criminals in DC and other major cities across the nation.

“We need to go after the DC Council and their absurd laws. We need to get rid of this concept of, you know, no cash bail,” Pirro added.

“I see too much violent crime being committed by young punks who think that they can get together in gangs and crews and beat the hell out of you or anyone else,” she said, noting that because of DC’s laws and judges, it is nearly impossible to punish a teen for violent crimes.

This comes after Department of Government Efficiency engineer Edward Coristine, AKA “Big Balls,” was severely beaten by eight black teens after he attempted to defend a woman who was being assaulted and robbed by the gang. “These kids understand that the jurisdiction is through the state attorney general, Brian Schwalb… I can’t arrest them. I can’t prosecute them. They go to family court, and they get to do yoga and arts and crafts. Enough! It changes today,” Pirro declared.

Pirro: We all want the same thing. We all want a safe city. We want a safe capital. We want to be able to bring our families here. We want to be able to come and enjoy the history that makes this place great and, unfortunately, we are not in that position right now. And Mr. President, I want to thank you for taking the step that we need right now to make criminals understand that they are not going to get away with it anymore. And I’m not going to stand here and go over and over the cases, but what I can tell you is this: I see too much violent crime being committed by young punks who think that they can get together in gangs and crews and beat the hell out of you or anyone else.

They don’t care where they are. They can be in Dupont Circle, but they know that we can’t touch them. Why? Because the laws are weak. I can’t touch you if you’re 14, 15, 16, 17 years old, and you have a gun. I convict someone of shooting another person with an illegal gun, on a public bus, in the chest, who he meant to kill. I convict him, and you know what the judge gives him? Probation—says you should go to college.

We need to go after the DC Council and their absurd laws. We need to get rid of this concept of, you know, no cash bail. We need to recognize that the people who matter are the law abiding citizens, and it starts today, but it’s not going to end today, because the President is going to do everything we need to do to make sure that these emboldened criminals understand we see you, we’re watching you, and we’re going to change the law to catch you.

My final note is this: These kids understand that the jurisdiction is through the state attorney general, Brian Schwalb. I did a poster of the young man from DOGE, who was beaten bloody, with a severe concussion, a broken nose, and then I did a poster of what happens to those kids because I can’t arrest them. I can’t prosecute them. They go to family court, and they get to do yoga and arts and crafts. Enough! It changes today. Thank you, Mr. President.

  5. Former US Capitol Police Chief SLAMS Nancy Pelosi for Whining After Trump Orders National Guard Deployment in Crime-Ridden DC — Reminds Her She Blocked His Request on Jan. 6

President Donald Trump’s bold move to federalize the Metropolitan Police Department and deploy National Guard troops to the nation’s capital has triggered a predictable meltdown from former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and one former U.S. Capitol Police Chief is calling her out for her brazen hypocrisy.

President Donald Trump announced a federal takeover of law enforcement in the nation’s capital. During a press conference, he declared “Liberation Day” in Washington, placing the Metropolitan Police Department under federal control, deploying 800 National Guard troops, and labeling the city’s conditions dire and chaotic.

Invoking Section 740 of the Home Rule Act, Trump asserted authority to federalize the D.C. police amid what he described as a public safety emergency. The mayor’s office and congressional leaders were bypassed.

In addition to federalizing the D.C. police, Trump deployed FBI, DEA, and other federal agents to conduct night patrols and oversee the outreach. He also pledged to relocate homeless encampments, calling for immediate removal.

Trump also hinted that similar measures might be taken in other major cities—like New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago—if they do not “clean up” voluntarily.

As expected, Nancy Pelosi rushed to social media to attack Trump’s decisive action.

“Donald Trump delayed deploying the National Guard on January 6th when our Capitol was under violent attack and lives were at stake.

Now, he’s activating the DC Guard to distract from his incompetent mishandling of tariffs, health care, education and immigration — just to name a few blunders.”

But former U.S. Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund was not about to let Pelosi rewrite history. Sund, who was on the front lines during the January 6 Capitol riot, torched Pelosi’s narrative in a blistering statement that exposes the truth she’d rather Americans forget.

“Ma’am, it is long past time to be honest with the American people. On January 3, I requested National Guard assistance, but your Sergeant at Arms denied it. Under federal law (2 U.S.C. §1970), I was prohibited from calling them in without specific approval. That same day, Carol Corbin at the Pentagon offered National Guard support, but I was forced to decline because I lacked the legal authority.

On January 6, while the Capitol was under attack and despite my repeated calls, your Sergeant at Arms again denied my urgent requests for over 70 agonizing minutes, “running it up the chain” for your approval.

When I needed assistance, it was denied. Yet when it suited you, you ordered fencing topped with concertina wire and surrounded the Capitol with thousands of armed National Guard troops.”

In 2023, the House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight held a hearing titled, “Oversight of United States Capitol Security: Assessing Security Failures on January 6, 2021.”

Rep. Barry Loudermilk heads the subcommittee. Former U.S. Capitol Police Chief Steven A. Sund testified before the committee.

Chief Steven Sund has been outspoken of Nancy Pelosi and her failures to secure the US Capitol that day.

It has been widely reported that President Trump asked for the National Guard three days in advance of January 6. But Pelosi turned him down. She refused to call in the National Guard despite numerous warnings of possible violence.

Pelosi then refused to turn over information about her culpability in the security breakdown during the Jan. 6 riot for over a year to congressional investigators.

Steven A. Sund, the Capitol Police chief on that fateful day, not only confirms her culpability along with the rest of the Democratic leadership. Sund reported that Pelosi utilized him as a scapegoat and forced him to step down as Police Chief. We all know now she was just trying to obfuscate her own responsibility for the attack.

Trending: 15 Democrats Arrested For Election Fraud

The day after January 6, Nancy Pelosi blamed Chief Sund for the security failures that day. Pelosi insisted she never spoke with Chief Sund the entire day.

Chief Steven Sund refuted Pelosi’s lies. Sund told the subcommittee he spoke with Pelosi three times on January 6 (while she was running the building with her film crew.)

  6. Hillary Clinton Lashes Out at Trump For Deploying National Guard in DC
    http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/08/hillary-clinton-lashes-trump/

Hillary Clinton and the left-wing media are melting down over President Trump bold move to deploy the National Guard to DC to stop the out-of-control violence.

    As reported earlier:

President Trump on Monday announced that he is invoking Section 740 of the DC Home Rule Act to place Washington, DC’s Metropolitan Police Department under “direct federal control” and authorizing the Secretary of Defense to deploy National Guard troops in Washington, DC.

Section 740 of the DC Home Rule Act allows the President to take control of the Metropolitan Police Department under “special conditions of an emergency nature.”

The President signed two executive actions on Monday, including invoking powers under section 740 and sending statutorily required letters to the DC Mayor and the necessary congressional committees. Section 740 requires the President to notify committee chairmen and the mayor in order to federalize the Metropolitan police for more than forty-eight hours.

He also signed a Presidential memorandum directing the Secretary of Defense to utilize National Guard troops to clean up DC and authorizing state governors to use their National Guard troops at home. “We will bring in the military if it’s needed,” Trump told reporters.

President Trump decided to deploy the National Guard to quell the violence in DC after DOGE worker Edward Coristine, AKA “Big Balls” was severely beaten by a pack of thugs.

    • As you can tell from the articles above President Trump has declared war on the woke soft on crime policies designed to destroy the US cities. The Dems are going to react by condemning the policies and by mose calls for violence against the police, Christians, and Conservatives.

Things are getting interesting and will get more interesting as the Dems start losing control of the cities they are trying to destroy.

      • These arch-criminal corruptocrats get their zoroz-types to stage riots. Coup-teasers.

President Trump held nothing back on leftist governors and mayors on Monday as he announced the restoration of law and order in the United States.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump announced on Monday that he is taking federal control over Washington DC’s Metropolitan Police Department and authorizing the use of national guard troops to solve the “public safety emergency” in the nation’s capital.

Trump also called on Republicans in Congress to change the statutes to get rid of “no cash bail” and “some of the other things” that empower criminals in DC and other major cities across the nation.

“This is Liberation Day in DC, and we’re going to take our capital back,” he said.

BREAKING: “This is Liberation Day in DC, and We’re Going to Take Our Capital Back” – President Trump Announces He is Invoking Section 740 of DC Home Act, Federalizing DC Police, and Sending in National Guard (VIDEO)

When asked if he expects that other crime-ridden cities, such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago, will follow DC’s lead in ending the public safety crisis, President Trump said they should follow DC and “get rid of the cashless bail thing and all of the things that caused the problem.”

He also took aim at the Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, and California Governor Newsom, calling them out for incompetence and labeling their cities a “disaster.”

“His family threw him out of the business, and he ran for governor. And now I understand he wants to be president, but I noticed he lost a little weight, so maybe he has a chance,” Trump said in a hilarious troll of Pritzker.

Regarding California politicians, Trump slammed them for the mismanagement of the LA County wildfires earlier this year and stated, “Gavin Newscum is incompetent. He’s got a good line of bullsh*t, but that’s about it.”

    WATCH:

Trump: We’re going to have a tremendous success of what we’re doing. Other cities are hopefully watching this. They’re all watching, just like everyone’s watching here. They’re all watching, and maybe they’ll self-clean up, and maybe they’ll self-do this and get rid of the cashless bail thing and all of the things that caused the problem. I mean, if you go back, this whole thing with cashless bail is a disaster. So many problems came that we never had before. So, they’re watching us today, and if they don’t learn their lesson, if they haven’t studied us properly because we’re going to be very successful, I have zero doubt about that. It’s a question of will it be really fast like the border. You know, everyone said, they used to say, Biden used to say, “I need legislation. I need—“ I didn’t get any legislation. I called up our people, and we did a great job. Tom Homan was great. As you know, our Secretary did a great job. They did a great job. There’s no games. They didn’t play games, and we’re gonna have the same thing here. But then I look in New York in a little while, let’s do this. Let’s do this together.

Let’s see, it’s gonna go pretty quickly, and if we need to, we’re gonna do the same thing in Chicago, which is a disaster. We have a man there who’s totally incompetent. He’s an incompetent man. And we have an incompetent Governor there. Pritzker is incompetent. His family threw him out of the business, and he ran for governor. And now I understand he wants to be president, but I noticed he lost a little weight, so maybe he has a chance. We never know what happens, but Pritzker is a gross incompetent guy, thrown out of the family business. But when I look at Chicago, and I look at LA, if we didn’t go to LA three months ago, LA would be burning like the part that didn’t burn.

If he would have allowed the water to come down, which I told him about in my first term– I said, you’re gonna have problems. Let it come down. We actually sent in our military to have the water come down into LA. They still didn’t want it to come down after the fires, but that was it. We have it coming down, but hopefully LA is watching— that Mayor also. The city’s burning. They lost like 25,000 homes. I went there the day after the fire. You were there, and I saw people standing in front of a burned down home. It was their homes were incinerated. They weren’t like— even the steel was literally it was all warped and literally disintegrated because of the winds and the flame and the whole thing like a blow torch.

They loved the whole big area, different places, but they loved it. It was all luxury stuff and beautiful stuff. And some wasn’t that luxury, but the level of love for that neighborhood, their neighborhoods, was incredible. And you know what? I watched people on television, they want to go, they want to leave. They’ve lost their spirit, they’ve lost their heart, because the mayor is incompetent. Gavin Newscum is incompetent. He’s got a good line of bullsh*t, but that’s about it. He’s incompetent.

  9. President Trump Orders Military to Take on Drug Cartels – The Flow of Illegal Drugs and Gangs Stops Now!

President Trump has signed a directive authorizing the Pentagon to deploy U.S. military force against select Latin American drug cartels designated as terrorist organizations. This marks the most aggressive step yet in his administration’s campaign against fentanyl and other illicit drugs, framing the fight as a national security issue and aligning with closed-border policies that have already reduced illegal immigration to a fraction of previous levels.

The directive builds on Trump’s executive order at the start of his second administration, instructing the State Department to designate cartels and transnational gangs as foreign terrorist organizations. In February, the State Department announced the first eight designations, including MS-13 and Tren de Aragua.

The list has since expanded to include two Haitian gangs and Yemen’s Houthis. Last month, the Treasury Department designated Venezuela’s Cartel de los Soles as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist, alleging the group, led by President Nicolás Maduro and other top officials, provides material support to terrorist organizations threatening U.S. security. The administration also doubled the reward for information leading to Maduro’s arrest to $50 million. Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil dismissed the move as “pathetic” and “crude political propaganda.”

The U.S. has also designated six major Mexican cartels as foreign terrorist organizations: the Sinaloa Cartel, Jalisco New Generation Cartel, Gulf Cartel, Northeast Cartel, United Cartels, and the Michoacán Family.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio explained that designating cartels as foreign terrorist organizations gives the U.S. government expanded legal authority to act against them.

“It’s no longer a law enforcement issue. It becomes a national security issue,” he said.

Rubio noted that the designation enables the U.S. to deploy broader tools of national power, intelligence agencies, the Department of Defense, and others, to target these groups whenever opportunities arise.

“We have to start treating them as armed terrorist organizations, not simply drug dealing organizations,” he emphasized.

The order establishes an official basis for potential direct military operations, both at sea and on foreign soil, against cartels. U.S. military officials have begun drafting options ranging from Navy destroyer missile strikes on cartel leaders or infrastructure to deeper cooperation with Mexican authorities. This directive reflects Trump’s broader use of military forces for border and immigration enforcement.

More than 10,000 service members have been deployed to the U.S.-Mexico border, and the Pentagon has created three National Defense Areas in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, treating them as extensions of military bases to bolster security.

House and Senate Democrats have urged the Trump administration to use the foreign terrorist designation to disrupt cartel financial networks and impose harsher penalties on entities providing material support. Under this framework, it is now illegal for any U.S. person to knowingly provide material support or resources, whether tangible assets, services, or monetary instruments, to designated organizations.

The Department of Justice has already acted, unsealing in June 2025 the first indictment charging a Mexican national with providing material support to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), including supplying grenades. This follows an earlier May indictment against another alleged cartel member on similar charges.

The administration has also implemented the Fentanyl Sanctions Act and the FEND Off Fentanyl Act, granting the Treasury additional powers to target money laundering tied to fentanyl trafficking. Using this authority, FinCEN on June 25 ordered U.S. financial institutions to cut ties with three Mexico-based banks, CIBanco, Intercam Banco, and Vector Casa de Bolsa, accused of laundering millions for cartels and facilitating payments for precursor chemicals used in fentanyl production.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum firmly rejected any prospect of U.S. military intervention. “The United States is not going to come to Mexico with the military,” she said Friday. “We cooperate, we collaborate, but there is not going to be an invasion. That is ruled out, absolutely ruled out.” Sheinbaum said Mexico was informed in advance that the U.S. order on cartels was coming and stressed that it “had nothing to do with the participation of any military personnel.”

Sheinbaum, however, has offered no plan to reclaim Mexico from cartel control. For years, Mexico has largely resisted U.S. demands to secure the border and arrest cartel leaders. At times, often under threats of sanctions or tariffs, Mexico has paid lip service to cooperation, but due to corruption or a lack of political will, its government has taken no meaningful steps to wrest power from the cartels.

The usual suspects in Washington are questioning the legality of President Trump’s directive, particularly the authority to kill suspects without explicit congressional authorization. However, under the War Powers Resolution, the president can deploy U.S. forces abroad for up to 60 days, with a possible 30-day withdrawal period, without an Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) or a formal declaration of war. The president must notify Congress within 48 hours of committing armed forces to military action. But, congressional approval is not required.

Past presidents have exercised similar authority without congressional approval. In 2011, President Obama ordered military intervention in Libya, allowing U.S. combat operations to continue past the 60-day deadline without seeking authorization. And again in 2014, Obama authorized airstrikes against ISIS in Syria and Iraq, repeatedly resetting the 60-day clock by sending new notification letters to Congress. In 2016 alone, his administration conducted over 26,000 airstrikes across seven countries and authorized 542 drone strikes, killing thousands, all without new congressional acts.

Donald Trump has sent a clear message to Mexico and to liberals: the United States will no longer tolerate drugs and criminals crossing the southern border, and he is prepared to do whatever it takes to stop them, even if that means military operations in Mexico.

    • A few of our precise drones could do for a start. No Mex prez is elected without the go-ahead of the cartel goons. She should reflect on the fate of heads of state in Libya, Syria, and Iraq.

Unprecedented Chinese Icebreaker Deployment Off Alaska Being Monitored By U.S.
China’s increasing presence near Alaska comes as the U.S. is scrambling to field more icebreakers.

Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

The U.S. military and Coast Guard are monitoring the simultaneous appearance of five Chinese icebreaking vessels in the Arctic region near Alaska. That unprecedented presence represents two and a half times the number of icebreakers currently capable of being operated in the entire Arctic region by the U.S. Coast Guard. Another is scheduled to be commissioned on Sunday and plans are underway to build dozens more.

The Chinese icebreakers, which include a number of research-focused types, are being monitored by North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and U.S. Northern Command (NORTHCOM), a NORTHCOM spokesperson told The War Zone Thursday evening. The presence of so many Chinese icebreaking ships near Alaska was first reported by the gCaptain maritime news website.
