Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

      Babs was moved to contribute to a pizza delivery fund for soldiers at the front. Later there was a video of this elderly team bringing ice-cream to that hot hell! The soldiers – everyone’s kids – were so thrilled they danced around the crazy-brave grandmas/grandpas. Holocaust survivors and veterans of too many wars.

      All fostered by the one and only Eeyore: wisdom, strength, and generosity. Who looks at the cold, hard truth and doesn’t look away. A mighty chieftain in this unholy war we must win.

  2. Monetary history is beginning to nibble at the edges of normalcy biases. This means unsophisticated people with beginner’s minds (aka yours truly) want to know what money is and how it works.

    Not long ago credit was a slavery device. Debtor’s prison was a reality that people today would find shocking in its very concept. A friend of mine who recently endured divorce stunned his lawyer when his financials revealed no debt whatsoever. Rare indeed for our time.

    So, while Joe Blow is now fully leveraged with debt, the lenders aka commercial banks are loaded with precariously-leveraged Joe Blows. Millions of them. In fact, Iast night the shopping channel on TV was offering snake oil of some sort for two easy payments of twelve bucks. If this doesn’t give you the general picture of debt and credit I don’t quite know what will.

    Indebted government is the next layer of the monetarily burdened. And no, I’m not Cassandra. I just have eyes, and see that no amount of modern monetary theory is going to print our way back to solvency.

    For all the solid evidence of general insolvency available to all of us, only those without eyes cannot see the obvious at this point. My beginner’s mind likens the current situation to the coerced injection regime of the plandemic. 15-20% will see things, or at least sense the abnormality of our current monetary climate.

  3. Last week I posted the story of the European Central Bank issuing a warning to bullion banks becoming overleveraged on futures derivatives of precious metals. That warning spoke to all parties on PM derivatives except the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA), which is the very definition of a limited hangout. The LBMA defines paper bullion trading by virtue of its daily volume.

    I no longer vacillate in any way over the rectitude, or absence thereof, of our monetary system. Furtive indicators of pending solvency events on a scale never before seen by we, the living, are becoming alarmingly frequent.

    Make a list of essential needs, and get them now.

  6. Last Sunday morning, I went to a said ‘conference’ given by a female who appears on TV once in a while for political issues.

    The issue last Sunday was 51st state and Trump’s hostility toward Canada. I expected a mature presenter but what I got was a deep Socialist-Leninist spewing hate and lies. Very limited critical thinking capabilities and narrow knowledge of what is really happening.

    Questions were 30 seconds and the target audience was 60+ years old.

    I left after 25 minutes and it took me the entire day to cleanse my soul of the hate and powerlessness I had witnessed.

    Dangerous people, they are.

      • Sadly, no. – I don’t have a phone. My friend stayed, and he regretted it so much.

        She started off by mocking Trumpists. Laughingly, she said his entire administration is totally incompetent, all of them are incompetent. She goes on to compare him to Communist China. He’s erasing acquired rights, such as social justice and DEI, he is trying to shut down Harvard, America’s best university, and on and on she went at a rapid pace.

        She said the US economy is spiraling downward under Trump’s incompetence, and it’s about level with that of China today. At that point, I raise my hand and I say ‘depopulation problem in China’. She quickly nods and keeps on rattling. There was no way to correct her statements.

        I found myself nodding my head negatively over and over because she wasn’t providing essential context. I left.

        Outside, I walked to a side street where the sun was shining on the pretty colorful houses. I soaked it in for about ten minutes before taking my car and heading to a flower nursery.

        For someone who could debate with her, and I can, the experience was thoroughly oppressive. Poor people who listened to her full hour of hate and falsehoods.

        Finally, on TV, she’s not like that. I saw her hidden side, the one she reserves for the innocent audience.

  8. Issa al H., the man who stabbed 11 people in Solingen, Germany on 23 august, has confessed. He says that he now realizes that the people he considered infidels were in fact innocent (“Christians and muslims are nephews”), and that he has thus committed a grave crime.
    He was interested in IS ideology since 2019, and radicalized in 2023 when Israel took military action against Hamas. He was in contact with IS through Telegram, he swore allegiance twice.

    US-backed Kurds strike deal with Syrian gov’t to clear ISIS camps
    Syria’s new government will relocate ISIS families from camps, with Kurdish and US support.

    The new Syrian transitional government is seeking to find a way to deal with thousands of ISIS families who have been housed at camps in eastern Syria since ISIS was defeated in Syria in 2019. When ISIS was defeated in several villages near the Euphrates River in 2019, some of the terrorist group chose to surrender, and thousands of families of ISIS fighters ended up in the hands of the US-led Syrian Democratic Forces.

    The thousands of families were sent to several camps and detention facilities in eastern Syria. These camps, called Al-Hol and Roj, probably had some 80,000 or more people in them at one time. By 2024, they had around 10,000 male members of ISIS as well as tens of thousands of family members, such as women and children. Al-Hol had an estimated 18,000 Iraqi citizens and 16,000 Syrian citizens, along with some 6,000 foreign ISIS supporters. There were another 3,000 estimated ISIS supporters in the Roj camp.

    The camps have not been well funded, and what has happened is that the ISIS supporters generally keep to themselves and have a kind of internal police force that enforces their strict extremist norms. They also raise thousands of children in these conditions, essentially creating a new generation of potential extremists…

    Things have begun to change since the new Syrian government took shape after the fall of former president Bashar al-Assad. Now that Western countries are engaging with Damascus, there is a possibility for movement…

    At the Harvard Toilet Kennedy $chool, the Trump administration’s attempt to revoke Harvard’s eligibility to enroll international students – temporarily blocked in court – could eliminate nearly 60 percent of the $tudent body.

    HKS is Harvard’s Toilet most international school, and the proportion of international students there has grown over recent years, reaching a record high of 59 percent in 2024.

    The announcement that international students might have to transfer or face deportation sent shockwaves across the Toilet Kennedy $chool – as students feared being displaced and faculty worried that the Toilet’s Kennedy $chool’s identity as a global center for public policy scholarship could hang in the balance…

    • Two Harvard students who assaulted Jewish peer receive honors, $65,000 fellowship

      One of two Harvard students who assaulted a Jewish classmate during an anti-Israel protest in October 2023 has been appointed as class marshal by Harvard Divinity School at the upcoming graduation ceremony.

      This comes just three weeks after the other assailant was awarded a $65,000 Harvard Law School fellowship to work at the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

      The Harvard Law Review website says its $65,000 fellowship goes to recent Harvard Law School graduates “with a demonstrated interest in serving the public interest through their work and scholarship….”

      While Bharmal and Tettey-Tamaklo originally faced a criminal trial, Boston Municipal Court Judge Stephen W. McClenon dismissed the charges at the end of April, instead ordering them to attend “pre-trial diversion” anger management courses and perform 80 hours of community service.…

      [Bharmal] was also awarded a law clerkship with the Public Defender for the District of Columbia in 2024, a government-funded agency that pro bono counsels individuals charged with committing serious criminal acts.
