Based on Ontario, Canada, placing a 25% Tariff on “Electricity” coming into the United States, I have instructed my Secretary of Commerce to add an ADDITIONAL 25% Tariff, to 50%, on all STEEL and ALUMINUM COMING INTO THE UNITED STATES FROM CANADA, ONE OF THE HIGHEST TARIFFING NATIONS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.
This will go into effect TOMORROW MORNING, March 12th. Also, Canada must immediately drop their Anti-American Farmer Tariff of 250% to 390% on various U.S. dairy products, which has long been considered outrageous.
I will shortly be declaring a National Emergency on Electricity within the threatened area. This will allow the U.S to quickly do what has to be done to alleviate this abusive threat from Canada.
If other egregious, long time Tariffs are not likewise dropped by Canada, I will substantially increase, on April 2nd, the Tariffs on Cars coming into the U.S. which will, essentially, permanently shut down the automobile manufacturing business in Canada.
Those cars can easily be made in the USA! Also, Canada pays very little for National Security, relying on the United States for military protection. We are subsidizing Canada to the tune of more than 200 Billion Dollars a year. WHY??? This cannot continue.
The only thing that makes sense is for Canada to become our cherished Fifty First State. This would make all Tariffs, and everything else, totally disappear. Canadians’ taxes will be very substantially reduced, they will be more secure, militarily and otherwise, than ever before, there would no longer be a Northern Border problem, and the greatest and most powerful nation in the World will be bigger, better and stronger than ever —
And Canada will be a big part of that. The artificial line of separation drawn many years ago will finally disappear, and we will have the safest and most beautiful Nation anywhere in the World — And your brilliant anthem, “O Canada,” will continue to play, but now representing a GREAT and POWERFUL STATE within the greatest Nation that the World has ever seen!

No American should want any part of Canada. All Canadian political parties are leftist, if not actually marxist, and Ny union with Canada would make the US a permanent socialist state, complete with bad Canadian/UK style medical care.

Wrong action; as it appears adversarial. Just end the $150m annual subsidy the U.S. gives Canada; to keep those two generating stations operational. Why should Canada continue to enjoy the electricity that is produced mostly on our dime?

We love real Canadians- they are our brothers and sisters, our literal extended family- but the Canadian government has not used any possible benefits from our relationship to better the lives of its heritage citizens. (That includes the First Nations, another aspect both countries share.)
No, quite the opposite, the government has used its position to bring in dysfunctional “replacements”. The same as our corrupted governments have done both here, and in Europe.
Trump is contending with the same rot up there as he contends with in the US. These are the tools he has. He is wrestling not with Canada, but with its government.
Trump is playing the game by the rules as they are- the ambitious elites backing him do want Canada and Greenland’s land assets as collateral to do a reset of the failing banking system drowning under the weight of its own debt.
After North America, Europe, our mutual homeland, is next; this is the purpose of the EU and the euro, to put entire an continent’s natural citizens on the hook for payment of that debt.
Debt bondage under a panopticon surveillance state; this is the messianic vision for the Five Eyes countries, and a model for the rest of the world.
China has shown how effective it can be when used *for* a homogenous nation, as they have gone beyond the 20th Century communism “we” taught them. The difference is, homogeneity is exactly what is targeted for destruction in the European-based nations.
Revolutions occur when an underserved faction of the ruling class sees a chance to usurp a current set of rulers, weakened by its own corruption. The 21st Century is fighting to displace the 20th Century; although the new elites do intend to rule us, I don’t think they intend to kill us as the old elites seek to do.
Perhaps they realize that the replacements have their own tribal visions of power, and that without a sufficiently healthy European “us” to ride, our masters will themselves be knocked from the saddle.
To displace us is to displace themselves; they have learned too late that the replacements play by the same rules as our masters do, and will refuse to wear the yoke that we accepted.
