And a merry Christmas and happy New Year to all, and with thanks to everyone for your continued attention to this site, its way of looking at the issues, and your care and concern for the liberty, and security for all, and the continuation of the culture of Western Civilization

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    This is Thomas Sowell – perhaps the greatest thinker of the 2nd half of the 20th century (if not more) and what he paints here is something we all should heed.

    I actually knew some of the people who suffered personally in this disaster, whose family members had been massacred. No, I do not pretend to know more about this than Dr. Sowell, just that their personal stories as they told them to me confirm everything in his video – and explain much of what had been left unsaid.

  4. Zelensky the green T-shirt seems to hold a monopoly on power in Europe.

    He refuses to allow Russian gas to transit Ukraine, which will cause many countries and millions of western Europeans to suffer. The great German industrial machine is shrinking fast as thousands of workers are dismissed. This economic decline began when Zelensky and friends blew up the Nordstream pipeline, depriving Germany of cheap fuel.

    Of course, only the most Putin-derangement-syndromed believe the Green T-shirt became what he did because of extraordinary brains and courage. No, the Green T-shirt is a product manufactured in the same factory as Trudeau, Macaroni, Boris Johnson, Freeland, Carney, Obama, and all others who despise the very concept of a free nation state. This product is fueled not by oil or natural gas, but by corruption, power and hatred, and it is not so speculative to suppose that the factory shareholders are few.

    I don’t pretend to know the nuances of geopolitics that will drive events in 2025, but I do know there is no life without fuel.

  9. Few better examples exist on the damage corrupted legacy media inflict.

    Unless alternative sources brought this to light I would not know that the 66% capital gains tax is not yet law in Canada. I also wouldn’t know that the Canadian Tax Confiscation Department (Canadian Revenue Agaency CRA) is a bullshit euphemism, plans to impose this tax illegally!

Jimmy Carter the worst President in living memory and probably the worst President the US has ever had has died, the media (including FOX) is busy praising him and either giving him credit for things that President Reagan did or are not objecting when the Dems steal glory from President Reagan and giving it to Carter.

    The left/Dems always do this and we let them get away with it, President Wilson was a failure who helped the left around the world gain power.

    The next Dem President Roosevelt was a Dictator /President for life who did everything he could to get the US into WWII and established policies that let Stalin seize control of Eastern Europe.

    He was followed by Truman who had China and North Korea on their knees and refused to fight the Korean War to victory leaving their populations in slavery.

    JFK was a screwup who let the communist build the Berlin Wall, take over Cuba and he then got us into the Vietnam War.

    LBJ who followed him was the second biggest crook to hold the Oval Office (Biden was the biggest) who cost the US the lives of many thousands of lives of soldiers because he insisted that he make all tactical decisions in Nam. Once he was out of office Nixon turned the US Military loose and we won the war. Then the Dems in Congress refused to give South Vietnam the weapons we were suppose to and the North won the war.

    We all know the Clintons, Obamas and Bidens so I won’t give a brief summery of their crimes and treason. suffice to say that the Dems have been working to turn the US into a Socialist hell hole for my entire life and now we are forced to praise on of their worst warriors. The history books in the future will not be kind to the idiots who are letting the left lie to the kids about the crimes and achievements of Jimmy Carter and his predecessors and the Dems who followed him into the White House.
