News from the 51st state: Links 1 for December 28, 2024

Today RAIR Published an essay of mine on the state of the West as it is percieved, and handled by controlled op media. Those who wish to pop over, please do so and feel free to leave a comment either here or there.

1. Gotta say, It is nice to see someone else beating this drum besides me.

2. Apparently, more names from the Epstein client list have been released. But why were they redacted from the original law suit in the first place? There could be valid reasons like some of the names had no evidence of wrongdoing and exposing them would punish them via guilt by association. But rational and fair rule of law like that has not applied to counter-revolutionaries, meaning constitutional Americans for many years now. Anyway, David Copperfield? That’s quite a trick. Or should I say, sleight of hand. Or hands on the slight. Still, it’s pretty impressive that he made an entire island disappear for quite a while. beats the hell out of the Statue of Liberty illusion.

Many of the names belong to people who have not been accused of wrongdoing, like former President Bill Clinton, who could have asked the court to have his name remain sealed but declined. A spokesperson for Clinton also denied claims in one of the documents that alleged the former president and Epstein had a “close personal relationship.”

Other names unsealed included billionaire Glenn Dubin and his former private chef, Rinaldo Rizzo, the magician David Copperfield, Tony Figueroa, Limited Brands founder and former Victoria’s Secret CEO Les Wexner, and Epstein accusers such as Johanna Sjoberg and Annie Farmer.

3. So the UK has stated openly that Tommy Robinson is in Solitary Confinement because of “the polarizing nature of his ideology”.

This may be among the finest examples of dialectical replacement of Rule of Law so far. Tommy, who’s ideology is that of Classical Liberalism and was more or less the operating system of all of Great Britain since at least World War II, is so “polarizing” that it rates punishment that in fact causes genuine brain damage after a short while. But the staggering number of Muslims in prison for actual crimes, unlike Tommy who is in for showing a movie the state doesn’t like, are not polarizing. The ones who attend religious services in groups every day and teach hatred and death to the unbeliever and the end of “man made laws” this is not polarizing. It is hard to not give in to the temptation of calling this hypocrisy. Because to do so is actually comforting. It lets us pretend that our system is basically intact and these are selected outrages that should be punished as examples of non-equality before the law. But the truth is, that is long dead. We have a system that now seeks political outcomes from all processes. And has nothing to do with, in fact is at odds with Rule of Law, and as Orwell writes in his essay on NewSpeak, it won’t be long now till words like Freedom mean, ‘this house is free of mice’ or ‘this field is free of insects. But the political meaning of free will have been deracinated from the minds of people.

4. A worthwhile thread on why many Canadians are taking Trump’s Trudeau Trolling seriously.

5. What did they think Multiculturalism meant?

  1. Re item #3
It is disingenuous to to conflate the letter from the prison governor explaining why TR is in solitary: FOR HIS OWN PROTECTION, with the UK govt’s reason for imprisoning him in the first place; his breaking of their increasingly Orwellian thought and speech crime laws. The latter is the issue, making grist of the former diminishes your argument.

    • I understand. But the fact that the state itself listed his views as the reason justified the inclusion.
There are much better reasons to take issue with this incarceration and treatment of mister Robinson.

There might even be better reasons for his incarceration which are not stated. But a government that is not honest in its dealings is to be fought.
As I understand it, he is in part in solitary because his views are (XYZ). This is anathema.

The truth is, he is in solitary because Muslim prisoners would kill him as they did Kevin Krehan (IMO) and failure to address this is at least as pernicious on the part of the state as the reason given.

In fairness, an essay would be better than a quick item on this issue as at this point, all of us are buried in layers and layers of state lies. It has become extremely difficult to point at a simple cause and effect with any degree of actual meaningful truth.

      Thank you for your comment.

      • Glad to hear Tommy is safe. Now all he has to worry about is the food. But he handled that well last time…
