On June 18, 2016, at a rally for Donald Trump‘s 2016 United States presidential campaign in Paradise, Nevada, British citizen Michael Steven Sandford attempted to grab the service pistol of a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officer providing security for the event.[2] Having failed to do so and having been arrested, Sandford claimed that he had wished to kill Trump to prevent him from becoming president.[3]
Sandford was charged with disorderly conduct and with being an “illegal alien in possession of a firearm” for having previously rented a pistol at a shooting range. On September 13, 2016, he pleaded guilty to both charges.[3] Sandford was sentenced to 12 months and one day imprisonment,[2][4] and was released and deported to the United Kingdom after 11 months in custody.[5]

Joe Biden on Monday stopped to chat with reporters on the South Lawn as he departed for Wilmington, Delaware.
Biden addressed the second assassination attempt against President Trump.
Shots were fired at Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 pm as the former president was playing a round of golf with real estate investor Steve Witkoff.
Would-be assassin Ryan Routh set up a sniper’s nest in the shrubbery outside the perimeter of Trump’s golf course in West Palm Beach.
According to federal prosecutors, the sniper nest with two backpacks, an AK-47 and Go-Pro was set up 12 hours before the foiled plot.
This means Ryan Routh had foreknowledge of Trump’s plans to play golf on Sunday even though it was not public knowledge.

According to law enforcement, Ryan Wesley Routh pushed the muzzle of his rifle through the fence line at Trump’s golf course before Secret Service agents fired at him.
Law enforcement said Routh was about 300 to 500 yards away from Trump. He was hiding in the shrubbery when he pointed his rifle with a scope through the fence.
Secret Service agents were one to two holes ahead of Trump when they spotted the muzzle of the rifle. Agents pounced on President Trump, who was on the 5th hole at the time, and covered him as they fired shots at Routh.
Routh escaped from the shrubbery and sped off in a black vehicle. He was taken into custody in Martin County.

Joe Biden said Secret Service needs more help and Congress should respond to their needs.
This is after Biden’s DHS has repeatedly denied Trump’s request for more security.

A reporter asked Biden, “They need more personnel? They need more money?”

The Trump campaign is not playing around as the corporate media desperately attempts to absolve Democrats and their enablers (including themselves) of blame for the latest assassination attempt on the 45th President.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, a second attempt was made on President Trump’s life, just two months after he came within a centimeter of being killed in Butler, Pennsylvania by a Democrat donor named Thomas Crooks.
Shots were fired at the 45th president’s golf club in West Palm Beach on Sunday afternoon at roughly 1:30 pm as he was playing golf with real estate investor Steve Witkoff. The shooter, later identified as 58-year-old Trump hater Ryan Wesley Routh, shoved the muzzle of his rifle through the fence line at the golf course before Secret Service agents opened fire on him.
According to law enforcement, Routh was no more than 500 yards away from Trump and was hiding in shrubbery when he pointed his rifle, reportedly an AK-47, at the former president. He then darted out of the bushes and escaped in a black vehicle, but he was arrested in Martin County.
Make no mistake: this assassination attempt was directly correlated to the violent rhetoric Democrats have used against Trump for almost a decade, as the Trump campaign pointed out in a press release this afternoon.
These Democrats include not only Joe Biden and Kamala Harris but also other ‘luminaries’ such as Mad Maxine Waters (Socialist-CA), Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY), Nancy Pelosi, along with disgraced turncoats Liz Cheney and the Lincoln Project’s Rick Wilson.
Such quotes included calling Trump a threat to democracy, putting him in a bullseye, saying he needs to be shot, an enemy of America, and more. The would-be assassin specifically echoed the Trump ‘threat to democracy’ cry in several tweets before trying to take out Trump.

A massive explosion rocked a pipeline in La Porte, Texas, late this morning, prompting immediate evacuations and sending emergency responders scrambling to contain the inferno.
The La Porte Office of Emergency Management confirmed the incident in a statement on social media, urging nearby residents to leave the area as firefighters battle the blazing pipeline fire.
The La Porte Fire Department has already recommended an urgent evacuation of homes and businesses between Luella and Canada, as thick plumes of black smoke billowed into the sky.
“Emergency responders are responding to a Pipeline Fire near Spencer Hwy and Summerton. The Fire Department is recommending an evacuation between Luella and Canada. Our office will update the community as more information is gathered,” La Porte Office of Emergency Management wrote on Facebook.

Trump’s close friend and golf partner Steve Witkoff broke his silence on Monday after he witnessed an assassination attempt against the former president on Sunday.
Steven Witkoff, a real estate investor who was golfing with President Trump on Sunday, said Trump was concerned about his friends first before thinking of himself after Secret Service agents foiled yet another assassination plot.
Shots were fired at Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 pm as the former president was playing a round of golf with his good friend Steve Witkoff.
