As we’ve said from the beginning, we’re not a mere curiosity. We’re not here to simply explain the collapse while it continues apace. We’re here to fight. We’ve begun, on the subscriber side, to orient strategically with our new series: “Being a Good Enemy.” In this series we will discuss when it’s good to be an enemy, and how to go about it properly. Yes, there is a time and a place for it. Yes, it’s not just okay, but positively good to embrace the fact that you’re somebody’s enemy, and if it’s for the right reasons to also embrace the fight for victory. We’ll endeavor to orient you – the whole of you – to this end. We need far less “nice guys” and far more good men (and women).

For those that do not know…

 

Sources I spoke with informed me that the USSS advance team was scouting the holes ahead of President Trump as he was golfing. Agents spotted the suspect in the tree line in possession of a semi-automatic rifle which they believe to be an AK-47 or similar. The agents either exchanged fire with him, or else it was only the agents shooting at the suspect—this remains unclear. The suspect immediately fled into the trees and initially managed to evade agents, but was quickly apprehended and is now in law enforcement custody.

Richard in the comments explains it was not an AK look alike but a hunting rifle, which makes it a more serious event by a more knowledgable person.

  3. Once I saw a clearer rifle the barrel looks like an AK barrel but is much longer, this means that the piece was worked over, probably by someone who knows what they are doing.

    Having said that the media is making a big deal about the 400 to 500 yards to President Trump, he was that distance from the shooter but all indications are that he was waiting for President Trump to get on the green of the next hole. This was a much shorter shot, one well withing the range of an AK. The AK is not a very accurate weapon as issued by the Russian, it was designed to be used by people who don’t know much about firearms and was meant to be a spray and pray weapon, through out a large number of bullets and pray you hit something. If I am right about the weapon it is probably, I say again probably more accurate then the as issued AKs, but not necessarily. If I am right about the shooter waiting for President Trump to get to the next green before shooting the shot would have been 60 yards or shorter, well within the accurate range of an as issue AK. The only good point the AK has is that it is so sloppily made it is very hard to get to jam.

    The left has spend over 8 years propagandizing and indoctrinating people with the idea that Trump is the reincarnation of Hitler, this makes it easy to understand why the weak minded are trying to kill the person working to restore their freedom. The left has spend many decades in fomenting a Civil War, they appear to have succeeded, we are in the early stages of a very nasty Civil War. The fully kinetic portion of the war is just starting and it will involve the lefts militias, most of whom are so ignorant of weapons and military tactics and operations they don’t make every mediocre cannon fodder. The foreign terrorists and criminal gangs in the US and Canada are more dangerous and will take more time to remove from our nations then we have to spare. Also dangerous are the left wing terrorists who went to the Middle East and spent several years working and fighting with Communist terrorist groups. I have no doubt that in the long run the Vets and other patriots will succeed in saving the Republic. I also have no doubt that there will be many changes made to our political system to prevent the radical left from once again taking over our Government.

    I really wish I had access to the military manuals and other books on the subject of asymmetric war that I have read over the past 50 to 60 decades. I don’t remember the names of some of the books and don’t have the money to hunt for them, I will have to rely on my memory to try and keep my friends informed about what is happening.

    Watch your backs, the band is getting ready to play Charge and the Bug Out Bogey at the same time. I live in a small town with a lot of Hillbillies (some of whom are family) and thus I am safer then those who live in the big cities, take care I don’t want to lose any friends.

    A New York Times report was discovered on Sunday mentioning Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, who was caught targeting Trump, armed with a scoped AK-47 rifle in West Palm Beach before shots were fired by the Secret Service.

    The New York Times was actually in contact with and interviewed Routh for their article.

    In an oddly coincidental Truth Social post, just hours before the attempted shooting, Trump said, “THE FAILING NEW YORK TIMES IS A TRUE THREAT TO DEMOCRACY!”

    The article from the Times ties the would-be shooter to nutbag MSNBC terrorism analyst Malcolm Nance, who once called for ISIS to bomb the Trump Tower in Istanbul.

    In 2022, when war broke out in Ukraine, Nance traveled to Ukraine and claimed he had joined the fighting against Russia.

    The New York Times editorial, titled “Stolen Valor: The U.S. Volunteers in Ukraine Who Lie, Waste and Bicker,” references the International Legion created by Ukraine for allied foreign fighters to join the war effort, which both Routh and Nance were part of.

    Routh is mentioned twice in the article. He alleges that he had planned to move recruits for the war effort into Ukraine illegally from Pakistan and Iran. New York Times excerpt:

    With Legion growth stalling, Ryan Routh, a former construction worker from Greensboro, N.C., is seeking recruits from among Afghan soldiers who fled the Taliban. Mr. Routh, who spent several months in Ukraine last year, said he planned to move them, in some cases illegally, from Pakistan and Iran to Ukraine. He said dozens had expressed interest.

    “We can probably purchase some passports through Pakistan, since it’s such a corrupt country,” he said in an interview from Washington.

    It is not clear whether he has succeeded, but one former Afghan soldier said he had been contacted and was interested in fighting if it meant leaving Iran, where he was living illegally.

    Nance was mentioned 12 times and reportedly used his intelligence background to relay information to Ukrainian counterintelligence. From NYT:

    Malcolm Nance, a former Navy cryptologist and MSNBC commentator, arrived in Ukraine last year and made a plan to bring order and discipline to the Legion. Instead, he became enmeshed in the chaos.

    Raheem Kassam first posted the report linking the two, commenting, “Birds of a feather.”

    More information from Routh’s social media accounts shows him in Washington, DC, and Kyiv, and in one strangely worded 2020 tweet, he calls Trump “retarded.”

    Additionally, Charlie Kirk posted screenshots from Routh’s X account, where he posted bizzarre tweets attempting to rally support and produce a song for Ukraine in late 2023 and early 2024 and stated that he was “in Ukraine for eight months.”

    Newly uncovered information about Ryan Routh, the man who planned to shoot President Trump on Sunday at his West Palm Beach golf resort, shows that he’s a long-time Democrat and has donated to several Democratic candidates, the New York Post reports.

    Shots were fired at Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach on Sunday as President Trump was golfing on the 5th hole with real estate investor Steve Witkoff. It was unclear if the shots that were heard came from the gunman or the Secret Service shooting at the suspect before he was able to discharge his scoped AK-47.

    As The Gateway Pundit reported, per the New York Times, Routh had ties to Ukraine as a member of the International Legion, created by Ukraine for allied foreign fighters to join the war effort. Also tied to this cause is nutbag MSNBC terrorism analyst Malcolm Nance, who once called for ISIS to bomb the Trump Tower in Istanbul.

    In an interview with the New York Times, Routh detailed plans to smuggle recruits for the war effort into Ukraine illegally from Pakistan and Iran, using phony passports from Pakistan.

    Over a six-month period between September 2019 and March 2020 primary season, Routh donated dollar amounts ranging from $1 to $25 19 times, amounting to over $140.

    Per New York Post:

    The Hawaii man suspected in former President Donald Trump’s assassination attempt on Sunday is a long-time Democrat, donating exclusively to the party’s candidates 19 times since 2019, records show.

    Between September 2019 and March 2020, Ryan Routh contributed more than $140 on the Democratic fundraising platform ActBlue, Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings show.

    The filings indicate he lived in Kaaawa, Hawaii, at the time of the donations. The records indicate that he was “not employed.”

    While the money went to ActBlue, it was earmarked for individual 2020 Democratic presidential primary candidates including former Rep. Beto O’Rourk (D-Texas), Andrew Yang and Tom Steyer of New York and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (R-Mass.)

  8. The Counterspell video is slick–too slick. The writing is dense and skates very smoothly with historical quotes and references. The music works perfectly. It says everything right. It sounds very smart, which makes me suspicious. It most certainly is an AI-generated product, which makes me ask why its creator didn’t do the hard but gratifying work of writing it himself. Listening carefully it doesn’t really tell me anything I don’t already know, which is a metric we use to discern propaganda. That’s three strikes in my book.

    Volumes can be gleaned by watching what algorithms throw our way. I have noticed for a long time that YouTube sells us videos of war and weaponry. Right now you can watch “real” ambushes of NATO tank columns getting ambushed and destroyed by the Russians, resulting in “thousands” of Western mercenaries being killed and captured. Right. Video game stuff.

    Why? I don’t know, but preparing us psychologically for war prepares us psychologically to accept sacrifice (abuse). The more we are prepared the less we will object to what the enemy is already subjecting us to. The percentage of the population that is alert to threats against the Second Amendment–meaning the type who reads sites like VTB–are already wise to what is going on. The rest of the population is mentacided, so is not the problematic 20-percent that the Obiden revolutionaries currently in power concern themselves with. No, we here are all they are concerned with. What utility is there in winding us up more? Maybe so we will expose ourselves? So we better define ourselves for identification in the crowd?

    Maybe Counterspell really means counter-revolutionary–as in target. I’m sure I’m wrong about this. Maybe what I’ve actually done here is discounted a great source with the most noble intentions just because I have been thoroughly paralyzed by the information battle space. Maybe I am now incapable of recognizing good material. But even my German Shepherd wouldn’t accept treats from strangers. As much as they smelled fine and as much as he wanted them, his animal intelligence warned him with nary a word.

    Regardless, Counterspell, is too sharp for the Everyman to digest, and he’s the guy we are really missing now. I look forward to watching this series to see why I am wrong.
