  1. Friday night I went to a birthday party. Two old friends have their birthdays a day apart.

Both suffer injection injuries. One has bad psoriasis, the other chronic lung problems. Both have had Covid multiple times. Another friend who was supposed to be there called in sick with–you guessed it–Covid.

We talked about all kinds of things while we ate and drank, but never touched on the reason for their suffering. The Great Quiet must give way to common, loud anger. It remains a residual friction in every family.

    • House for sale down the road, empty already. “He loved it her, where did he go”? “He fell down one day and went down hill rapidly”.

      • Same story for a male friend I have. Dropped suddenly at the top of a double staircase. Four-time jabbed, his life is over.

  2. He says the best thing to do is to ignore them. I agree although mockery is very efficient as they’ll lose their self-confidence and want to disappear. With mockery, people won’t want to be seen near them.

    • It’s just too painful for families living such terrible loss. More and more it’s affecting us all in close and extended families.

Even so, we still can’t talk about it. They hear it as blaming the victim. Or else it makes them feel guilty for encouraging “safe and effective”.

My favorite cousin loved my youngest niece. But she continues to get boosters herself! I think she’s at #6 by now…
