1. On math and the destruction of the merit system in Canada and Canadian schools in favour of communist metrics of alleged statistical equality of results based on the group narratives of the day
With the left, the point is never the point. So even the ludicrous excuse that this is an attempt to level the field for say, black people, is a diversion. The real purpose is to destroy the merit principle. If one accepts the pseudo-logic of DEI it leads to far more questions than it answers. Why is this not applied to sports, except the dialectic of men pretending to be women and destroying all women’s sports while forcing the women who should have won, to celebrate the bravery of the cheaters who crushed them unfairly.
It is a statistical fact that short people with the same abilities or greater, earn less money than tall people. Even if the tall have poorer performance and lower abilities. And would we even need to mention good looking people? A really good looking woman can earn more money opening beer bottles on a part time basis than a man of average attractiveness working at heavy labour, or even some skilled labour fill time. And this is pretending that the only thing that matters is money. Reproductive opportunities is as much a form of wealth as cash in many ways. Which is why the oldest profession is exchanging the one for the other.
And why destroy the merit principle? Perhaps because above all else, this is the defining aspect of Western Civilization. It relies on objective and measurable truths. It allows people to achieve whatever they want to, based on their individual talents, abilities and drives.A society that relies on merit, at least to the degree that the eternal factor of corruption will allow, is one driven by individual accomplishment. And this is anathema to leftism, socialism, communism, totalitarianism, progressivism, or any other euphemism currently in use for the revolution which has taken place in the West.
The woman in the video above gets a few things wrong, and like most of us who in a certain way are controlled opposition albeit unwittingly so, is more an observer of events with little understanding of them, and thereby aids these events.
There are racial components to abilities. Sorry, there just is. There is a reason that basketball is dominated by tall black males. Men are better at it, and black males are better than the rest overall. Darwinian evolution is real. Remember that the word ‘breed’ is the exact same meaning as race. Then look at dogs. Committed leftists will insist that there are no differences between dog breeds. But that takes a special kind of self blinkering. Anyone who has had a herding dog and or a retriever and or a Bloodhound and any number of other specialty races of dogs knows that breeding for or against a trait gives you more or less of the trait you select for. This is animal husbandry. Just as true in humans as in animals.
Judging the worth of the people, or the dog for that matter, based on these attributes is your decision. In a free and democratic society, all are meant to be equal before the law. This is critical. And the same standard must be applied, and this has to be a standard that bears fruit. We do not want an 80 pound Vietnamese woman trying to pull you out of a burning building. We want the person large and strong enough to do it. But attaching a judgement of worth of people based on these attributes is your decision to make how you want. Society, must not make those judgement calls and that is precisely what the left is forcing us to do. Those with poorer amounts of specific attributes are getting a victim label attached and getting a leg up in a way that will destroy our medical systems, air travel and everything else that needs ability. Not that long ago, if you had a woman pilot or doctors, you wouldn’t be too concerned about it as you knew the standards were the same. Now, most people at some level ask themselves if the person on whom their life depends was an equity hire.
A society based on equality of opportunity will in fact have differences in results and some of these differences will be along racial lines, and other along cultural lines and others based on individual drives. A person highly motivated to be excellent at a thing is much more likely to be successful at it than someone more talented but less enthusiastic about it.
(for the sake of argument we are defining ‘talent’ as a spike in an IQ bar graph for that individual. A person with an average IQ but showing spikes in certain areas can be said to be ‘talented’ in that area)
The perfect is the enemy of the good. And the Communist approach to organizing a society is a catastrophe even if they actually mean what they say with their endless dialectic descriptions of why they disconnect Western Civilization from its roots. Scratch disconnect, burn the forest down to the root tips. But they do not mean what they say. There is always a reason other than the stated one for the policies they chase. And it is the actual results they get. not the ones they claim they want. And the results are always destructive.
The CCF lawyer concludes by saying that “math does transcend linguistic and cultural barriers”. I think we all know what she means. But where she will get torpedoed is that we only accept that if we accept a Socratic view of the universe which believes in objective truth, and knowing that truth allows you some flexibility in how you shape your world. Her statement is one where objective reality is so axiomatic she cannot begin to comprehend how the left actually operates. Math is only universal to those people that accept objectivism. To those that do not, no amount of proof is enough, because the mere attempt to provide proof of objective reality makes you a racist, antisemitic, islamophobic, misogynistic right wing colonialist and therefore, anything you say is toxic. I could extend this to include the notion that it is now racist to raise your children well, because some other groups may not. This again is not about equity as demanded. This is about removing the children from families and making them state property. Any attempt by biological parents to influence their children will be met with state force. We already see that and this site provides examples almost daily.

Newcastle United has reportedly banned a fan from attending matches at its stadium over posts she made on social media criticising transgender ideology, including asserting the biological reality that “transgender women” are not, in fact, women.
The Premier League has been accused of using “Stasi” tactics after an 11-page dossier of social media posts and other information on Newcastle United supporter Linzi Smith was reportedly used to ban her from attending matches until at least 2026 and was even handed over to the police in an apparent attempt to have her arrested over social media posts rejecting modern gender theories.
Smith, a lesbian woman who has criticised the transgender movement for encroaching on the rights of women, said that the Premier League report also included details about her life, including where she lives, works, and even the route she uses to walk her dog.
According to a report from The Telegraph, the football club informed Smith that she had violated its equality and diversity membership rules through her supposedly discriminatory statements made online.
One example of an apparent violation was when Smith wrote: “It’s like they’re trying to trans the gay away. You’re a young woman who likes sport? YOU’VE BEEN BORN IN THE WRONG BODY!!!! You’re a young man who likes makeup and dressing up??? YOU’VE BEEN BORN IN THE WRONG BODY!!!! Make it make sense.”

In the preface to Charlotte’s book, the behavior of educational change agents and the education establishment is described in detail. The term DARVO comes to mind. DARVO, an acronym that stands for Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender, is a strategy used by people with Narcissistic Personality Disorder to avoid accountability.
I’ve personally experienced every tactic described in the quote from the book’s Preface below from a certain person who happens to be a teacher. Before she became a teacher she was naturally abusive and manipulative but after becoming a teacher she became utterly impossible. Perhaps her potential for horribleness was present from birth and merely honed by the communists.
“There are many talented and respected researchers and activists who have carefully documented the “weird” activities which have taken place “in the name of education.” Any opposition to change agent activities in local schools has invariably been met with cries of “Prove your case, document your statements,” etc. Documentation, when presented, has been ignored and called incomplete. I seem to recall that ancient India was quite advanced in maths. they must have had a lot of white supremacists there I suppose. Personally, despite being white, I am lost beyond basic arithmetic.

# 4. In Chapter 1 of the book by Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt, “the deliberate dumbing down of america”, there is an anecdote about a psychology exercise known as the ‘lifeboat in crisis’. Students are supposed to decide who lives and who dies, but when students use imagination and save everyone, the instructor tells them they are wrong instead of rewarding them for their ingenuity. The outcome is supposed to be death. Students are supposed to learn that people are expendable. (… Like “non-essential” workers during the “pandemic”?)
Perhaps we see a reference to this psychology exercise in a Star Trek episode…
