1. Toronto tops list for safest Canadian cities: Study

Canadian government stats fool even the Toronto Sun. Dialectical opposite of the truth on crime stats.

The Big Smoke had the lowest rates of arson, robbery, impaired driving and burglary

Despite its problems, Toronto is actually a very safe place to live.

That’s according to an analysis of crime statistics by experts at Money.ca, which found cities in Ontario and Quebec placed in the top 10.

The study used Canadian Crime Index data from 2021 to calculate rates of arson, robbery, impaired driving and burglary in cities with a population of 100,000 or more to give families an idea of areas that are safer to live and where to invest in real estate.

The results suggest residents of The Big Smoke are least likely to be affected by those crimes, with 286.9 offences per 100,000 people.

Quebec City was not far behind, with 301 offences, followed by Gatineau (318.8), Sherbrooke (327.4) and Ottawa (333.9).

Other cities to make the list include Montreal and Barrie — 356.7 offences each — Trois-Rivieres (366.2), Saguenay (396.3) and Hamilton (420.6).

…Stats from 2021. When Canada was on Lockdown. Meaning no one is robbing houses, driving around or setting things on fire since everyone was at home for the year. This is Canada’s new-normal. Time to get familiar with Samizdat if you hope to have even a modicum of truth or meaning in your communications.

2. ‘Political activism while passengers are captive in the air’: Australian Jewish leader slams Qantas cabin crew for expressing ‘divisive’ pro-Palestinian views on flight

[…]

Qantas cabin crew have been slammed for their antics on board a flight to Hobart after workers allegedly all served passengers wearing Palestinian flag pins, with one man telling Sky News that he felt “intimidated” by the “divisive” political statement.

Sky News reporter Caroline Marcus revealed on Wednesday night that a group of QantasLink workers donned the Palestinian flags while serving passengers on a December 20 flight from Melbourne.

One young passenger, who is not Jewish, told Marcus he felt incredibly uncomfortable by the crew’s stunt, given the extremism and aggressiveness of some pro-Palestinian protesters in recent months.

The passenger added that all the staff he saw on board the flight were wearing the pins. […]

Another passenger flying Jetstar in December, a budget airline owned by Qantas, claims that an employee used the PA system to voice her political views on her flight in December.

The Jewish woman told Sky News that the employee said “Free Palestine” at the end of the take-off announcement on her flight from Melbourne to Ballina, which made her feel “furious”.

I think a lot of people may have wanted to demand to get off the aircraft if a crew member shouted something which could be a statement of martyrdom. Certainly people should have. Video at link above.

3. BC Arbitration Ruling in Favour of Unvaccinated Workers Could Mean End of Vaccine Mandate: Former AG

B.C.’s Supreme Court recently ruled in favour of fired unvaccinated Purolator employees, ordering the company to compensate them for lost wages and benefits.

A former British Columbia attorney general says a recent Purolator arbitration case that ruled in favour of unvaccinated workers is a “game changer” that could wipe out vaccine mandates for health-care workers in the province.

Suzanne Anton, a former justice minister under the B.C. Liberal government of Christy Clark, is weighing in on the likelihood of success for a lawsuit filed against B.C. Provincial Health Officer Bonnie Henry by a group of unvaccinated health-care workers. The doctors, nurses, and other health-care personnel, who were fired for not receiving COVID-19 shots, are asking B.C.’s Supreme Court to remove the province’s vaccine mandate so they can return to work.

B.C. is the only remaining province to maintain the vaccine requirement for health-care workers.

A decision last month by arbitrator Nicholas Glass in the Purolator case, however, could change everything, Ms. Anton told The Epoch Times.

“The Purolator case was a game changer,” she said in a phone interview. “It was a very well-written decision and it is the first time that a decision maker has gone down this road of, first of all, ordering compensation, that I know of… and secondly calling into question the British Columbia Public Health Officer.”

4. Conservative MP Leslyn Lewis sponsors petition to oppose Agenda 2030, leave the UN

(She, like the US presidential candidate, Vivek Ramaswamy know exactly what to say. And I believe they believe it. Can they do it. That’s the question. If the FBI can rig one election and blackmail a sitting president, well, you have to be Donald Trump to steamroll your way through all of that and it’s yet to be determined if even he can do that.

On January 3, Conservative MP Leslyn Lewis sponsored petition e-4623, calling for Canada to withdraw from the UN. Over 67,000 Canadians have signed it to condemn Agenda 2030 for undermining national sovereignty.

Conservative MP Leslyn Lewis has earned the ire of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) for supporting a petition to leave the United Nations.

Initiated by Burnaby, B.C. resident Doug Porter, Lewis sponsored petition e-4623 to bring it before the House of Commons. Over 67,000 Canadians have signed it to condemn Agenda 2030, and its push for sustainable development.

Petitioners claim it undermines personal autonomy and national sovereignty by neglecting the Bill of Rights and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

“Over 60,000 Canadians have now signed a petition calling on Canada to protect our national sovereignty by withdrawing from the UN and its subsidiary organizations,” posted Lewis on X, formerly known as Twitter.

About the funding of Iran that allowed Oct. 7

Thank you all for checking out this site.

Harvard President Gay reminds us a lot of Obama. Barack Obama was the first ever editor of the Harvard Law Review without ever having published a single paper in it, if memory serves. And then this:

One, Gay’s meager publication record—a mere eleven articles without a single published book of her own—had somehow earned her a prior Harvard full professorship and presidency. Such a thin resume leading to academic stardom is unprecedented.

Two, the University of Pennsylvania forced the resignation of its president, Liz Magill. She sat next to Gay during that now-infamous congressional hearing in which they both claimed they were unable to discipline blatant anti-Semitism on their campuses.

Instead, both plead “free speech” and “context” considerations.

Such excuses were blatantly amoral and untrue. In truth, ivy-league campuses routinely sanction, punish, or remove staff, faculty, or students deemed culpable for speech or behavior deemed hurtful to protected minorities—except apparently white males and Jews.

Yet Magill was immediately forced to resign, and Gay was not. Also noteworthy was Magill’s far more impressive and extensive administrative experience, along with a more prestigious scholarship that was free of even a suggestion of plagiarism.

Academia’s immediate firing of a white woman while trying desperately to save the career of a less qualified and ethically challenged black woman will be seen not as a case of racial bias but more likely of racial preference.

Once again, a Win-Win for the communists. If your goal is destruction, then forcing the end of the merit principle and putting hard-core communists in charge gets you a Frankfurt School tactician as POTUS if people are too lazy or stupid or afraid to look into who they are voting for, or, they do and classical institutions and pillars of Greek Thought like Harvard are not just destroyed, but their reputations are permanently sewered as well.

A win-win. Either you accept people on credentials they don’t deserve and they destroy your culture, or we do it ourselves by not accepting on the basis of counterfeit qualifications.

  1. Good morning British Columbia is not the only province with mandate , these mandates are still in happening in Nova. scotia they are still many healthcare workers and others types of work that people are still not allowed to go back to.thank you

    • Actually Ontario is the same for medical staff. Doctors I know are still not being rehired at hospitals and are still going up against the Star Chamber struggle sessions at the CPSO. I’m sure it’s the same for medical staff Canada wide.

      Not in the US though,
